The owner is very flexible; if you are running late or need to reschedule, she does her best to accommodate. At first, I didn't particularly appreciate the long wait, even with an appointment, but you get used to it. It feels less now, and more often than not, I get in and out quickly. There is a learning curve if you have never gotten threading done before. There is a way for you to hold your eyebrows with your hand, but the owner will let you know how to do it. Also, a tongue placement is needed with your upper lip threading, which at first is odd to experience but makes sense afterward. I also purchase my eyebrow pencil from them and find their pricing reasonable. You can book with them online. I have only gone to the Pompano location. Eye Brow Threading and Tint My favorite services to get done. More often, I do just threading. Recently, I started threading my chin and upper lip hair and have found Rupa does an excellent job. Eye Lash I tried it once, and it was a very painful experience. My eyes burned the entire time. Afterward, I liked how it looked but could not bear the experience again. Overall, it is an excellent establishment for eyebrow threading. I cannot speak to most other services as I have not experienced them. With that, if you need of eyebrow shaping and waxing isn't for you, then I HIGHLY recommend this place!

I found this place via Instagram and wanted to give them a try for a lash lift. I have done the…read morelift before at a different place and was excited to try this place because they are reasonably priced and they are close to home. Unfortunately, my lashes did not come out how they are supposed to. If you have never done a lash lift before, your lashes are supposed to have a natural upward curve to them. Mine were straight up (no natural curve and touching my eyelid) and look a little frizzy. I look like my lashes were blown up in the wind and are frozen in place. I have to stay like this for 8-12 weeks. Extremely upset. My bottom lashes (which are not supposed to be touched during this process) look frayed. I contacted the merchant via Instagram, email, and phone. I asked to speak to the owner and they did not call me back or try to speak with me. The esthetician responded to my email saying my lashes were lifted and called saying no refunds will be issued per the contract. I'm more upset at the lack of professionalism from the owner. I thought with all the great reviews provided on Yelp, I would at least receive a call regarding my disservice to at least fix my lashes or hear my concerns. I would not recommend this place at all! There are so many businesses doing this procedure that the outcome of lashes is unacceptable.

She asked for cash, but I thought my wallet in, so I payed via Apple Pay with my credit card. She made a little slick comment like she thought the card was going to bounce. "Cash is better". Ma'am...money is money, the form doesn't matter. Quiet as it's kept, I probably make more money than this woman. But since I'm a black woman in work out clothes, she probably assumed I didn't have anything. They've always made me feel right at home, they feel like family now. But hands down the best part of going to them every 2-3 weeks for several years now is that it has quite literally changed my look--ironically, my eyebrows now give more natural and full (than when I waxed or tweezed in the past) AND they're more stylized to the shape of my face. Best of both worlds! Pro tip: Make sure you go at least 3-4 times to allow your hair follicles to start growing in naturally, the first few times will prob hurt a bit and then your hair (and your tolerance) will adjust so it's smooth sailing into the long game. I'm now at the point where I have them thread my ears, cheeks, below my lip, around my hairline, and my neck. Remember: beauty requires sacrifice & commitment -- and these ladies make it all worth it!
