Love this place. I even love the beautiful wood floors. (tiles?)It's so homey and comfortable with the couches and big chairs and it's all arranged so nicely. A great feel to the place which makes you want to just kick back and hang out. It's very clean and I love all the plants scattered about. The owners are soooo sweet and friendly. This was our first time there and we just had coffee, but the menu looks good. The review I read with the one star rating about the water I am confused about since they have a big jug of lemon ice water right next to the sugar/creamer. It's self service. Anyway, I look forward to going back. I found out they have Mexican mocha so I will order that next time! read more

I found this wonderful spot 4-5 months ago..... AWESOME café and lounge!!! The menu items are ALL worth trying and definitely worth the value. The sandwiches, deserts, coffee, tea, smoothies, service, ambiance, atmosphere, etc..., are ALL excellent and unique. The Brown Cup is One Of A Kind!! The staff is courteous, professional and VERY respectful. The business is always clean and well maintained. I own my own business, and I go there 3-5 days a week to distress and re-kick start myself. I cannot do that any where else.... The owners are extremely nice and inviting. They make everyone feel at home. They will go above and beyond to appease all patrons. The business is open 7 days a week until 8pm. Even though they close at 8pm, they stay open as long as the customers are flowing and respectful in return. I Love this place. All the food is so good, and coffee and smoothies are delicious. The owner is the nicest guy in the world. Its like the good old style coffee shops where you go to have study groups, read a book all day or catch up with old friends. We like the quiet atmosphere, it's perfect for studying & reading. We also appreciate getting our coffee in a ceramic mug--no styrofoam or plastic. So, 5 stars for atmosphere & good coffee in ceramic cups. If you're paying with a credit card though, you need to tell the cashier you do not want to receive their text msgs. Apparently they can view your phone contact via your credit card info. Just 1 star for not asking permission to send me text msgs. read more

This place is seriously the best place to go for studying and doing homework. If you're like me and get distracted at home, just come here. It isn't all hip, modern, and sexy like most coffee shops you'll go to. But what it IS, is cozy, warm, welcoming, peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect place to come hang out on some comfy couches. There are tables and chairs too, if you're into that. I love all of the different plants everywhere, and the fact that it ISN'T all modern and stuff. It's like being home away from home. That's what's so great about it. Roger, the owner, is so sweet too. He remembers your name and addresses you by it. It's just a cool set up and a nice place to go to unwind and get stuff done. I have been going to brown cup now for a few weeks now whenever I get the chance. It is a great place to work. It has incredibly comfortable furniture, including couches. Delicious food and coffee! I had just gotten a massage next door at the Ocean Village Massage and saw the sign on this place and decided to check it out due to convenience. I ordered the turkey avocado panini and turkey wrap with peanut dressing and both were superb! Also had the iced caffe amaretto latte which was perfectly made and refreshing. Went here to study over the weekend and had the same feelings as most other comments. Very nice owners, nice ambiance, was able to get a good few hours of studying each day. I had an egg, bacon and cheese sandwich on a bagel and my wife had a cup of chicken tortilla soup, both delicious. read more
