I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for almost 10 years and have yet to find anyone who perfects my brows like Shilpa. She is by far the best eyebrow threader I've EVER been too. She's quick, gentle, kind, honest, super friendand almost as much of a brow perfectionist as I am (which says a lot). Thanks Shilpa! I've reached my brow goals & even feel confident enough to ditch my brow pencil!

From when I first met her she was warm, welcoming, and attentive to my needs. She took her time drawing out the shape of my brows and did not rush at all. My skin type can get a little oily throughout the day but after she finished I couldn't believe the shape she achieved! We scheduled my touch up roughly 4-5 weeks out and my color and shape had held up really well considering I workout and like to spend time outside (pool etc.) I would definitely recommend anyone to her and I will be going back when I need a color boost! Her lashes full set is very reasonable compared to others that I've been to. I get mine filled in (hybrid set-$50) every 2 weeks and it definitely lasts for those 2 weeks considering I have oily eyelids and everywhere I've been in the past have never lasted this long. I usually have one or two hanging before my next fill-in but here, idk what she uses for her glue but it lasts with majority of my lashes still attached. You'll definitely get your money's worth coming here. Her hours are very flexible as well. She has other services as well that she offers that I haven't tried yet but eventually will. You won't regret coming here.

She is very professional and her technique is very quick and pain free. Unfortunately not everyone that works here is of the same skill level. From what I have seen, they train their staff on the job and then set them free. I must have hit the unlucky lottery and gotten the very newest girl on my next 2 visits. I expect to feel some pain when having my eyebrows done, however feeling each and every hair being slowly ripped out of my face is a bit more than I prefer. I have very fair skin that becomes very red immediately after having my eyebrows threaded. I have found, for easy mall escape, that it is best to park outside the Sears' side entrance that is closest to the upstairs entrance to Carolina Place.

I never feel uncomfortable there at all as this is definitely a "both genders welcome" type of place where guys can go for all their waxing needs and not feel weird. Barbara is very personable and always takes the time to answer any questions you may have without coming off in a condescending manner like some other not to be mentioned spas in the area seem to almost take pride in displaying. No matter your skin care need, no matter your gender, age or race, you will feel totally welcome and at home at Nola Spa, which again may sound like a simple concept to some, but unfortunately this is not necessarily the norm at all spas in the area based on my personal experience. So, with all that said, it is my pleasure to welcome Nola Spa into the five star club, as it is well deserved.

I called to make an appointment, but before I made the appointment, I asked how much was a pedicure. The lady told me the different prices for the pedicure and I told her I wanted to have the standard basic $35 pedicure. She did not say to take my polish off. My toes was going to be $10 more. When I got ready to leave, she told me to take the polish off was $10 more. I told her you told me it was $35. She said it's on the menu to take the polish off is $10. There is no menu posted. She went behind the counter and picked up a menu that looks like something you go to a restaurant to get and she opened it up and pointed to the $10. I told her you did not tell me that it was gonna be $10 to take the polish off. I would not recommend this nail salon due to the fact that they are not honest in communicating their prices prior to services being rendered. This is the second time that I have visited this place and was not given an accurate price. I will not be visiting again.
