(I even have a friend who's a plumber and I use Prater) They are always quick to respond. The jobs were always done the same day. They're professional, extremely nice, and always friendly with a smile. Prater never leaves any mess or even sign they were here, other than a job well done! Today I had Daniel and Sol, two of the nicest men you could meet. Such respect for the client. I can't say enough nice things about those two! I've used two other plumbing companies in the past and was never truly satisfied. From the first time I had Prater come out, I was a customer for life. 10 stars.

Absolute clowns at this place. I have tried to remain respectful but after 5 months, 3 visits and…read more20+ calls with them and finally being hung up on today I am done! They were contracted by my property manager back in February (it's now July) to replace a cracked sink and toilet. They have come out three times and I have had 20+ calls with them and still no resolution. They constantly say they will call back but never do. Here is a recap of this week for a taste of what you're in for if you do business with this joke of a place: After yet another month of no calls or updates: Wednesday: I call, she says she will call back. No call back Thursday: I call - she transfers me to an extension no one is at and the call ends. I call back multiple times, doesn't pick up, then I leave a voicemail asking to be called back. Friday: Still no call back from yesterday and it's later in the afternoon. I call again, the secretary now says I need to contact my property manger (who has told me to call them for any updates). Despite her giving me the runaround and updates for the past year with no issues talking directly to me.. She says she doesn't know anything more and it's the plumbers responsibility not her. Then she contradicts herself and says it's an order waiting and she knows for a fact that it has been ordered. I ask - well when was it ordered? She doesn't know... and she eventually hung up on me when I told her she should know and I'm tired of this. Take a look at my profile- I have never had an issue with any other business and this is not some crazy customer. This place is truly unprofessional and not worth the headache. If this was not through my property manager I would have gone else after a month of this. Look elsewhere

Plumbing problems are one of the worst things you can encounter as a home owner. One minute…read moreeverything in your world is fine, then suddenly you are plunged into a realm of deep despair. You need help and you need it fast. You're thinking, damn, this is going to cost a fortune. And you have no idea who to call! Well, I'll tell you who: the team at Ocean View Plumbing and Rooter! Over the years I've owned my house I've used several different plumbers. Some good, some bad. More bad ones than good ones, truth be told. Some so bad I had to hire a second plumber to fix the first plumber's shoddy work. Some were total ripoffs. It's a damn jungle out there! A couple years ago I had a leak in a pipe under the concrete slab my house is built on. It required drilling through floor of my kitchen, and through the concrete to repair. A bit of a sticky wicket. After the first company that I called proved unable to address the situation I called Ocean View. These guys were the proverbial Pros from Dover; they were definitely up to the challenge. It wasn't an easy job. But they got 'er done. I was very happy with their work. Since that big job, I've had to call them out a couple more times. The most recent was this week. I called them out because in one bathroom the drain in the shower was slow, and in the other bathroom the toilet was always running and I was tired of jiggling the damn handle. They sent Fredi and his helper to address the problems. I was happy to see Fredi because he had been here before and I know that guy is good! Just like always, the problems were quickly fixed. And at a reasonable price! Not cheap, mind you, but reasonable. Quite fair, I'd say. I wholeheartedly recommend Ocean View Plumbing and Rooter. If you have plumbing issues these are definitely the guys to call. Unlike a lot of other companies, these guys show up when they say they will show up. They get the job done expeditiously and for a reasonable price. That's why I rate them a solid 5 Star company! Mikey C says: thank you, Fredi! Thank you, Ocean View!

I took photos of the tripped circuit and text messaged them to Ray and left a voice mail. September 22, 2026, still no response. So very disappointed and angry. Got quotes from other companies, some smaller and some much larger in price. Went with Ray in hopes of honesty and supporting a small business. I owned a small business for about 18 years and always responded when there was an issue and fixed it. Had to leave this review, it is well earned. I had all 5 star reviews on Yelp for my former business, Heavens Best Carpet Cleaning. 50 of them. So I do not feel remorseful in leaving this review. Buyer beware and shop elsewhere.
