Absolute clowns at this place. I have tried to remain respectful but after 5 months, 3 visits and 20+ calls with them and finally being hung up on today I am done! They were contracted by my property manager back in February (it's now July) to replace a cracked sink and toilet. They have come out three times and I have had 20+ calls with them and still no resolution. They constantly say they will call back but never do. Here is a recap of this week for a taste of what you're in for if you do business with this joke of a place: After yet another month of no calls or updates: Wednesday: I call, she says she will call back. No call back Thursday: I call - she transfers me to an extension no one is at and the call ends. I call back multiple times, doesn't pick up, then I leave a voicemail asking to be called back. Friday: Still no call back from yesterday and it's later in the afternoon. I call again, the secretary now says I need to contact my property manger (who has told me to call them for any updates). Despite her giving me the runaround and updates for the past year with no issues talking directly to me.. She says she doesn't know anything more and it's the plumbers responsibility not her. Then she contradicts herself and says it's an order waiting and she knows for a fact that it has been ordered. I ask - well when was it ordered? She doesn't know... and she eventually hung up on me when I told her she should know and I'm tired of this. Take a look at my profile- I have never had an issue with any other business and this is not some crazy customer. This place is truly unprofessional and not worth the headache. Plumbing problems are one of the worst things you can encounter as a home owner. One minute everything in your world is fine, then suddenly you are plunged into a realm of deep despair. You need help and you need it fast. You're thinking, damn, this is going to cost a fortune. And you have no idea who to call! Well, I'll tell you who: the team at Ocean View Plumbing and Rooter! Over the years I've owned my house I've used several different plumbers. Some good, some bad. More bad ones than good ones, truth be told. Some so bad I had to hire a second plumber to fix the first plumber's shoddy work. Some were total ripoffs. It's a damn jungle out there! A couple years ago I had a leak in a pipe under the concrete slab my house is built on. It required drilling through floor of my kitchen, and through the concrete to repair. A bit of a sticky wicket. After the first company that I called proved unable to address the situation I called Ocean View. These guys were the proverbial Pros from Dover; they were definitely up to the challenge. It wasn't an easy job. But they got 'er done. I was very happy with their work. Since that big job, I've had to call them out a couple more times. The most recent was this week. I called them out because in one bathroom the drain in the shower was slow, and in the other bathroom the toilet was always running and I was tired of jiggling the damn handle. They sent Fredi and his helper to address the problems. I was happy to see Fredi because he had been here before and I know that guy is good! Just like always, the problems were quickly fixed. And at a reasonable price! Not cheap, mind you, but reasonable. Quite fair, I'd say. I wholeheartedly recommend Ocean View Plumbing and Rooter. If you have plumbing issues these are definitely the guys to call. Unlike a lot of other companies, these guys show up when they say they will show up. Called Oceanview plumbing to get a quote and change out my water heater this morning 8 nov 2023. Spoke to Ruben the owner, He sent a plumber out within 30 min. They gave me a fair quote. They went out got me a new water heater, installed it and now with in 2.5 hrs we had Hot water. Excellent work by Mario the plumber from oceanview plumbing. The staff is absolutely amazing. The customer service is outstanding and the guys that come to your house are very professional. I really appreciate that they gave me an honest assessment of what needed to be done. I initially had went with another company to get an estimate to identify the issue and I was quoted $600! I called Ocean view had them come look at the problem and it was a simple $125 rotor rooting issue. If you're lucky enough to get Aaron as your service person, you are in good hands. Called them because gas company said we needed a repair on gas water heater and add shut off valve for cooktop. They did the repair on water heater but said the gas shut off valve would require them going thru all the cabinets (making holes) to get to cooktop. That would run $1,000 to 1,300! Really? I had another plumber do it for $200 and he did not need to make any holes in my expensive Thomasville cabinets! Building and safety checked the work and said gas water heater not up to code. They couldn't see that? read more

Wow, what a difference! I originally called the home warranty (first American) and they sent a plumber from another area because they are not contracted with apparently any from the my area in port hueneme. So, this plumber came and charged me the service call $75 and did not resolve the issue ... the sink clog was still there. ocean view was called in to install a fiberglass tub/shower enclosure and a shower enclosure on a remodel i was over seeing.they were recommended and while I'm sure they are competent plumbers I think this job was out of their skillset. A bathroom vanity was scratched pretty badly, both fiberglass units were poorly installed with seams misaligned/ poorly secured and a pea sized hole (damage ) in one tub wall. I think they need to stick to the plumbing basics and work on quality control. read more
