After trying them all on, the guys there said they were well tailored suits and not to waste my money. I was amazed that instead of trying to make a buck off of my misjudgment and therefore an unnecessary service, they were completely honest. I mean, they technically lost business today because they didn't push for me to get them tailored. My fiancé has bought a suit here before so we figured it's the first place we would try to get another. We went in and we're greeted politely by several employees. An older gentleman even mentioned how much customer service matters to let us know when we were ready. That was the last positive experience we had there today. The older woman who "helped" us was unbelievably pushy and rude. She starts by insulting my fiancé size range and how she won't keep it stock. Okay, I thought maybe it's just a business decision thing and it came out wrong. Then she continues to be more awful. My husband complains about the suits all the time- the fit and ease of wrinkling. We were promised if he didn't like them they'd buy them back. That didn't happen. Dropped off two suits, got medial service. Picked them up, walked out without trying them on and left for Vegas. Big conference over the holiday, only to find out the pant legs were waaay too long. Mistakes happen, could have even been my fault for pulling the waist up to high during measurement. But here is why they get a five from me. First, people do make mistakes, people, it's about what they do to make it right. I called in and Peter, the owners son, had me come down as soon as I could make it, treated me with utter respect and curtiousy, and made everything right. He personally measured and double checked everything, bought me a cup of coffee while I waited as he rushed them to the front of the line to be sewn. This place is awesome. I was a bit skeptical at first. Once I read a couple of reviews, I decided to go in. My first visit was great. I didn't really know what I was looking for, the only thing I was sure about was my budget. I told Peter what that was and he stayed under that dollar amount. The suits came out great and they even added a "double crotch" lining. I had no idea that existed but it will extended the life of my suit pants. A few months later, I was in need of slack on a Saturday afternoon ASAP. I had taken the slacks I purchased here to the dry cleaners. They managed to rip a buckle and did not have them repaired and ready when I came to pick them up that Saturday. I called the store, Peter picked up and he told me to stop by. I 30 minutes to get to the store, hopefully find somethings that would fit, have it hemmed, pay and head back home to get ready. When I got there, Peter had a couple of slacks laid out ready for me to try on. I found the pair I wanted and asked if he could have them ready. He said have a seat and got them ready for me. From the time I walked into the store and out, I was out in 20 minutes or less. I have gone to big department store's like Macy's, Dillard's Nordstrom's and so on. You will not find the level of service and attention to detail at any other place like you would here. As a none believer, I highly recommend this place. I'm so happy to have found Brothers Tailors! I initially came in because I wanted to freshen up a couple of dress slacks that I've had for a few years. I wanted a cleaner, more trim look to the pants and they did an excellent job bringing them to a "modern fit". Similarly, I have a leather jacket from Italy that I love though it became apparent to me that the sleeves were rather full --- at the time years ago, this was the typical cut. I was concerned about finding a tailor that knew how to properly work with leather and this shop did an excellent job with slimming the sleeves! This place is legit and Gus is great. A tad eccentric--but great. I went there because I had a Living Social coupon for a custom suit. I upgraded and spent extra but whoa. Totally worth it because I LOVE the finished product! I had no idea there were so many decisions, but I liked that. My only (very minor) complaint is it took a little too long for my liking to actually get the suit after picking everything out and getting the measurements. After having my first review removed for not enough detail I will provide more information. Brother's Tailors did an OK job altering my husbands pants in April. This service was charged a huge fee over what was quoted. Brothers Tailors may take pride in their work but I think paying $65.00 for a simple adjustment is overpriced considering the quote was much lower. Also, sticking by a quote is very important. I have my Discover card receipt to prove this is a valid review so I will post again if this one is removed. read more

I guarantee you will have a pleasurable experience at Brother's Tailors. Not only is the owner, Gus, a pleasant guy to do business with; he will have you laughing at his general demeanor every visit. On my second visit he recognized my face and instantly made me feel welcome. Not only is Gus very hospitable, the rest of the staff follows suit (horrible pun intended). You know the other tailors you go to that know you by ticket number? STOP GOING THERE! Brothers will make you feel like you're their only customer and will have you walking away feeling like a million bucks every time. I'll admit, I went into the store based on a friend's suggestion and when I first walked in, judging by the size of the place, I thought my friend had played a joke on me. Do not be fooled by its appearance. Brother's is the real deal. In terms of selection they have everyone covered. You can walk in and get a $150 suit off the rack, which they'll tailor to your specifications at an insanely low price. Or you can walk in and completely customize a bespoke power suit. If you don't really know what you want or you're buying your first suit, for example, Gus or the other staff members will work with you for as long as it takes to get it right. When I went in for a custom suit, Gus took no less than two hours catering to my every request. Is that something you'll get at Men's Warehouse? The answer is no. To be honest, I will never step foot in another tailor's shop. There's a reason why this establishment has a 5 star rating. I've been 4 times and Gus and his staff have already made me feel like family. This is the way small business is done. Yes, Gus calls every guy that walks in the store a model. Yes, when you come in for one suit he'll ask whether you want 6 or 7.
