Best barbecue I have found so far on the Treasure Coast. It's a little hole in the wall - a trailer in the corner of a gas station parking lot. In my experience? That's a big plus! It took two passes by before I finally found it. Their barbecue is fantastic. The brisket sandwich is the benchmark for everyone else. The meat is an ideal blend of lean and fatty, sliced just right and melt-away tender. Lots of smoke flavor, but it doesn't overwhelm. The dry rub is on the salty side, but like the smoke it complements the meat's flavor instesd of being the star. The brisket was piled high on the sandwich. Definitely more than I expected for the price. The beans were smokey and flavorful, with big chunks of brisket throughout. Service was fast. Order, pay, your food is ready in a couple minutes and you can sit at the outdoor table to enjoy it. No drinks - get those inside the Valero station. This place will go up against anything in Texas. I love it when people are good at what they do!! I just had some amazing ribs with amazing sauces and even more amazing cole slaw. I had to pick up the phone and call them to say THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING FOOD! I'm low carb so, I couldn't try the Mac n cheese but my fiancé is eating it saying how wonderful it is. I grew up in Texas and have been to many of the top BBQ houses in that fair state. When I read the reviews about Brothers saying this was good Texas BBQ I was skeptical but I'm always willing to give any place a try. I'll also add that I was stopping by about 30 minutes prior to close to grab some carry out so my expectations were fairly low. I wanted to get a half pound of brisket and half a rack of ribs but by the time I got there they were out of ribs. I instead went with a pound of brisket. I was disappointed they were out of ribs but figured that was my fault because good Q isn't something that you just whip up. The brisket was some of the best I've ever had. Great smoke, awesome peppery rub, still very juicy (they cut from the whole brisket so you get both fat and lean) and everything was amazingly tender. A trailer in an out-of-the-way petrol station. Not much in the way of creature comforts here. The BBQ is good if you like fall-off-the-bone tender pork ribs, brisket and chicken. I prefer baby-back spareribs myself, but the pork ribs were tasty, but difficult and messy to eat. Several choices on the BBQ sauces. The sides were good, especially the mac n cheese. Availability of all menu items depends on demand. They didn't have several of the menu items at each of my visits. Not inexpensive when you add a couple of sides and a drink. First, this is a trailer parked out in front of a Valero gas station/bait shop. They have a nice selection of BBQ. I tried the 1/2 and 1/2, a mixture of brisket and pork BBQ. I also specified 1/2 sweet and 1/2 tangy sauce on the sandwich (you can select the sauce flavor as well as on or off). It is served overflowing on a regular hamburger bun (I should say the bun was very fresh). They give you a fork because when you are done eating the sandwich, there is another 1/2 sandwich worth of meat remaining. It was very good and a nice alternative to this area of sea food wannabe's. If your partner doesn't want BBQ, they can go across the street and get some clam chowder or a haircut. Take a drink there with you or buy one inside Valero. In town visiting family and decided to see what was good to eat in the area. Found reviews for Brothers BBQ and had to check it out. We brought food home last night and it did not disappoint. Everything we had was delicious. We had the brisk, chicken and pulled pork. Would have gotten ribs but they were sold out already. We had the sweet and the tangy sauces. We ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches with Mac N Cheese & Beans the other was the slider combo with brisket & pulled pork. We all took a couple bites and immediately agreed we will be going back very soon. So tender you don't really even need sauce. The Mac is like nothing you have ever tasted. Hard to explain but excellent. I see they make a Mac N Cheese bowl with the meat on top and without a doubt will be my next order.
