Broomtail has the best coffee! The baristas are so kind and friendly and the coffee is freshly brewed and delicious! Great quality, great service and the building has lots of private areas. Great for working or chatting with a friend!

what a Great little Spot, and it was destiny as we were assisted by Matthew and we checked in, we got free Mugs for checking in on Yelp, then the Sun came out for about 1.5hrs just long enough to soak up the sun and drink. When we finished the sun went away, Matt was over from their PUB but he was cool! Go Check it out and it is pet friendly!

Very knowledgeable staff, good parking, they're attached to a home brew store, and are dog friendly inside and out. Outdoor has a good amount of seating; while inside is more limited, but still a good amount. Pretty much the same beer on tap as the arcade, with the addition of one or two beers. To go options are limited. Overall, I do like this location more than the arcade.

Beer: 3 Fun games: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Location: 2 We've been to most breweries in the area and this one just didn't hit for us. I totally get that they approach beer differently than most places, but it's just not my style. I couldn't find even one beer I wanted to drink. If you like sours and seltzer-like drinks, then you'll like it here. They do have a very good IPA but the alcohol level is so high, it's not an easy one to drink. They have a lot of picnic tables outside but the inside is tiny. The guy who was working there was super nice and, of course, knowledgeable about the beer.

Service and locals totally made this an excellent experience. It was my birthday. We sat inside at a cute little nook with a view of the crowd outside. This is definitely a locals spot with many showing up after work for a beer and a chat. We did grab dinner from the food truck outside and it looks like they usually have some options. Lots of street parking and a little bit of space left to park in their lot. Picnic tables in the shade outside were a favorite hangout spot.

Great brewery with excellent craft beer! Great Kolsch and Gose selections! Expansion has made the place much more spacious; great atmosphere!

This was my first time to Broomtail, but I've been to the Sour Barn (which they run) a few times. It's located in an industrial area, like many breweries are. The day we visited was their anniversary, so there were a decent number of people there. The bartender was friendly and patient. I went with a raspberry sour which had just the right amount of tartness. As part of the celebration, employees had brought in a bunch of food so you could get hot dogs and pork brisket, plus numerous sides. From what I saw there was virtually no indoor seating, but several tables were available outdoors. It had a very chill vibe and the demographic seemed a little older while we were there. Stop by!

Great place for coffee and to work in the morning and a cold brew hanging out with friends at night

Curbside growler pickup during covid19. Great beer and lots of different styles! Will be back and can't wait to have a pint inside the brewery soon!

Smaller, cute brewery. Boyfriend and I grabbed two flights so we could try nearly all of the brews on tap. My personal favorites out of the flight were the Rye Brown Ale, Bar-liner Vise and Enkindled Smoked IPA. I thought that this brewery had a fantastic selection of beers. What else did I like about this spot? - Dog friendly - I was able to watch Batman while sipping on my beers - They have a flag for NC State and ECU hanging up which just so happens to be our alma maters

My first craft brewery in NC and I loved it. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and the beers were awesome! Sampled everything and brought myself a special bottle and got a free glass. Loved the YELP check in and sticker that came along with it. Will be back with friends in a couple of weeks to try some new brews and hang out with some fun folks!

All 3 have many things in common... This brewery consistently produces some amazing beer. IPAs and hazy IPAs are top notch here. They are very rare and hard to find back home (Greensboro), so I had to stock up. The space is exceptional. Huge beer hall with a large bar top area, tables, couches and comfy chairs. Add in some tv's throughout with sports on, and some foosball and shuffle board, and you have a super fun spot to hang out. The outdoor patio is super comfy as well, and surrounded by beautiful large trees. This is a place I need to stop in every time we're in the Wilmington area. A man and his friend we're sitting at a table and they had two black terrier dogs with them. My daughter was skipping by the table (to get to our table) where they were sitting and the two dogs lunge at her from under the table and bites her on the leg. I bring her outside while my husband gives the dog owner a few words. One of the workers came out to check on us, brought ice and tissues and proceeded to tell us that we "needed to keep a tight leash on our children". Um what? The worker made it known to me that they "were regulars" and know them. I don't see how that makes it okay for two dogs to attack someone relevant. I go inside to confront the man and ask for his number just in case my daughter has severe injuries from the bite, he was extremely rude and didnt have a care in the world about what happened or if my daughter was okay. Hi Wire, is this a place for pets to sit inside with their owners or a place for people to eat, drink and play games? Sure felt very un family friendly.

Two staff members, juggling orders with grace, kept the taps moving and the vibe relaxed. We had the Oatmeal Porter (dark, smooth, layered with chocolate, roasted malt, and caramel) And the Brook's Mulberry Lemonade (a blend of house-made lemonade and beer, fermented with mulberries hand-picked from Brook's garden). Both were super delicious. Flytrap Brewing sits tucked in a quiet Wilmington neighborhood, and it feels like it belongs there.
