All 3 have many things in common... This brewery consistently produces some amazing beer. IPAs and hazy IPAs are top notch here. They are very rare and hard to find back home (Greensboro), so I had to stock up. The space is exceptional. Huge beer hall with a large bar top area, tables, couches and comfy chairs. Add in some tv's throughout with sports on, and some foosball and shuffle board, and you have a super fun spot to hang out. The outdoor patio is super comfy as well, and surrounded by beautiful large trees. This is a place I need to stop in every time we're in the Wilmington area. For the great beer, the great space, and to take home half the store lol.

Great beer, cool space, one really loud generator!…read more Stopped here while hanging out at the hospital and needing a little break from all of that. We grabbed a spot on the upper deck, enjoyed the amazing weather, and had a great view of the bags tournament going on below. The place is huge and really cool inside. Everything felt fresh and clean, and that crazy steampunk bicycle near the entrance is worth checking out by itself. We tried the Electronic Fog, Sun Days, and Dreamy Eyes, and honestly enjoyed all three. The guy behind the bar was fast, funny, and actually knew his beer without making you feel like you were taking a damn class. There was a food truck there, so we grabbed some nachos and tacos. They were good and hit the spot. Prices for both the beer and food seemed pretty normal for a brewery. My only real complaint was the food truck generator. Holy crap was that thing loud. Even sitting up on the deck it was annoying. I can't imagine playing bags right next to it and having to yell at your friends just to talk. If food trucks are a regular thing here, it seems like giving them a way to plug into power would make the outdoor space a whole lot better. Bathroom could use a little attention too, but nothing terrible. Overall, we really enjoyed the place. Good beer, cool atmosphere, good service, and a great spot to hang out for a while. I'd definitely stop back.

We got a table right away on a Saturday night. Our server said I could try as many tastes of beers that I would like. I tried the Kolsh Krush & Lavender Lemonade Cider. He finished the entire thing by himself. I had the Ricotta be kiddin' me pizza which was good, and of course very, very cheesy. I still had about 3 slices leftover. They also have a kids menu, which is always helpful for us. My son had chicken tenders and curly fries.

My daughter was skipping by the table (to get to our table) where they were sitting and the two dogs lunge at her from under the table and bites her on the leg. I bring her outside while my husband gives the dog owner a few words. One of the workers came out to check on us, brought ice and tissues and proceeded to tell us that we "needed to keep a tight leash on our children". Um what? The worker made it known to me that they "were regulars" and know them. I don't see how that makes it okay for two dogs to attack someone relevant. I go inside to confront the man and ask for his number just in case my daughter has severe injuries from the bite, he was extremely rude and didnt have a care in the world about what happened or if my daughter was okay. Waterman's has a very casual ambience - not quite beach-y but with a nice beach-town feel. They have a huge outside space including an area for a band/dj and a pretty spacious interior as well. Their beer seems quality but I did not love that the majority of the options were tropically themed with a lot of fruit flavors. That's not a terrible sin in beer but I would have a like a few more options with more traditional flavors. I did end up enjoying the IPA I got despite not normally being a fan of beers with a lot of fruit flavors. The food was also good if not great. I think the strength of this place is the space and casual atmosphere, it was easy to bring our kids to have a nice meal while we enjoyed some beers.
