This is a sausage, shrimp, pasta, a side, order of macaroni and cheese and garlic potatoes

The food was 8 out of 10, the restaurant was very nice and well put together very neat environment if I go back, I would get the steak but for the first time going I tried something different , the salmon was pretty good 7.5/10 I don't have a picture of that but I do have a picture of my other entrée

Oysters, tasty!

I had a great experience at True Blue Butcher! If you're a steak lover, this place is perfect since it's a butcher shop attached offering fresh/flavorful cuts. The steaks were incredible, and the oysters are always so amazing here. Definitely a highlight of my meal. They also have a great drink menu which pairs nicely with their meats. The bar is very beautiful as well. The ambiance is classy and the servers are extremely professional treating you like you're at a fine dining restaurant. The vibe is a bit upscale and the service is top-tier!! I would say that other items on the menu such as the chicken and pastas, could use a bit more flavor/marinating but maybe that's due to that not being their main focus. My recommendation is to stick to the steaks, oysters and appetizers and you'll have an amazing experience.

Perfection, we tried the flight. The filet was cooked perfectly it melted in my tongue, the prime rib was delicious, the seasoning was rich and deep blended culinary delight not in the slightest overpowering. The service didn't disappoint either. She was knowledgeable, helpful, always there when needed and guided us in the right direction.

Service was great, unfort steak was undercooked but was quickly addressed and taking care of. Overall an amazing place for food and people.

Bar "snacks" that are half off on Fridays and Saturdays 3-6 pm

Wow! We just happened to go on a Saturday a little before 3:00. The hostess let us know that we could sit and drink for a bit to wait for their half priced appetizers that they have every Friday and Saturday from 3-6 pm. We were starving so we did order a smash burger to split which was absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best burgers we've ever had! Then after 3:00, we ordered tenders and Mac n cheese. The kimchi salad that came with the tenders was typically something out of my norm but DANG was it good! The hot honey sauce was insane with the tenders. Our service was incredible too! Our bill was $34 and we've spent more in subpar fast food! You truly can't beat that quality and price. We will definitely be back!

Steak Sampler

Wow. My parents recently moved to the Wilmington/Hampstead area, so we have been trying out different local restaurants every time we visit. This has become far and away our new favorite. We first visited on Mother's Day. Right away, we could tell it was a very special environment because the hostess was giving away $20 gift certificates to the restaurant's Italian offshoot, which we will be trying on our next visit. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. There is a semi-open kitchen and a bar off to the side, so it was an open but intimate seating area. The wine-by-the-glass/cocktail menu wasn't huge but had lots of good choices. We went with a Spanish white wine and an old-fashioned. Both were fantastic. We started with a wedge salad. The kitchen split it into three portions in the back, so we didn't have to worry about it diving it up ourselves, which is just a very nice touch when you are splitting a starter. (We were also very grateful that the kitchen left the bacon off of one portion since one member of our party doesn't eat pork. And, judging by how much back was on the remaining portion, I'm assuming they doubled up on the rest!) But, let's be honest, the real star of the show here is the steak. We did the steak sampler, and it is 100% the best choice. From an economics standpoint, the sampler is cheaper than getting three separate steak orders. And it was delicious! We loved getting to try each of the different kinds, and we each had a different favorite, though all of them were wonderful. It was more than enough for three people and could easily serve four or five depending on which sides you get. Speaking of the sides, we did the Mac-and-cheese, French fries, and Brussels sprouts. All were fantastic. My only small quibble is that they charge $7 for the side of horseradish to go with the steak. I felt like that was a little nickel-and-dime-y given how much we were ordering and the overall experience. But, to be fair, the creamy horseradish was very tasty, so I can't really complain! We will absolutely be back again, and we are looking forward to trying all of the "True Blue" offshoots.

Wow wow wow! I can't say enough good things about this place. I've found one of my top favorite…read morerestaurants in Wilmington. This place gives Miami feels. The ambience has this electric tropic feel, playing a variety of old and new Latin tunes, with lowkey lighting but not so low you can't see anything. The food it's packed full of flavor and the margs are on point! I recommend starting off with the pork belly quac, and a spicy margarita with tajin on the rim I had the Machu Picchu roll(corvina, citrus tiger milk, mango confetti, and more) and I swear was one of the most beautifully creative flavor packed dishes I have ever had in this town. Look, if you are wanting a quick getaway to another culinary world and are tired of the same ol wings, pizza , and beer come check out this spot. Oh! And to top it all off the service was stellar! Also, the restrooms are super clean and well stocked!

First and foremost our server Bella was fantastic, she was so personable and ran through the menu with us even offering suggestions. The restaurant itself is very cool, it's definitely more upscale Mexican and the food more than met that standard. I had the 4 enchilada plate, they are stuffed with delicious chicken and at Bella's recommendation I did 2 with their homemade mole and 2 with the homemade queso, both were excellent. My wife had the cauliflower dish and really enjoyed it, it's not something she gets every day and the flavor really popped, great vegetarian options at Vochas. We had the Maracuyá Tres Leches Cake for dessert and it was next level tasty. Next time we come visit we'll definitely drop by again for an outstanding meal.

It's sort of Italian and sort of steak and sort of a little bit of everything. Really clean, strait forward , reasonable menu, nice ambience. It feels kind of high end but the pricing is definitely mid range. I selected the tomato basil soup as my appetizer. It came with a nice toasted crustini. It was a really good soup. It tasted fresh. It had a lot of body to it like, maybe they did the tomatoes here in the house from fresh. It was definitely tomato. The basil was kind in the background, but it was a true red sauce. It was almost tomato paste or tomato sauce flavor. I would've not complained if they given it to me over a bit of penne.. It had a really nice flavor on it not too sweet not too acidic really a very good soup. It came out in a footed coffee cup so you're getting about one cup of soup. The main course was the broiled seafood platter. It was anchored by a large piece of mahi-mahi, that was amazingly well prepared, firm and tasty. To the side of that was a wonderful crabcake, one of the best I've had anywhere and definitely the best in the Carolinas. It did not have too much breading and it had a wonderful texture with lots of good crab flavor. Drizzled across all of this were scallops and shrimp. The shrimp were a little overcooked if you asked me. The scallops were sweet and perfect and everything you would want them to be. The side that comes with this is their crab fries which essentially our beer battered french fries dusted with old bay seasoning. If you've ever had the crab fries at the Philadelphia, ballpark, this is the way they do it. For dessert, I ordered the lemon cello mascarpone cake. It comes drizzled with raspberry sauce. I had visions of lemon curd, and what I got was really good and really lemonade and good cake. But it's not a very big slice. I know about the weight staff. I don't know if they're all good, but mine was exceptional and lovely to talk with. The place was very busy. It had a nice vibe to it, it could've been in South Beach or Miami or Los Angeles, not that it was over over the top just that it was very clean and nice and well done. This is a professional restaurant not some amateur attempt. I recommend it.
