So what's unique about this pub, well it's got a room full of snooker tables! Some pubs just have one but this pub has its own room of well kept snooker tables that is separate from the bar areas, perfect for a game of snooker, if that's your game! Now, I'm no expert at all but as far as I can see it's a very clean well looked after snooker hall and the clientele are a friendly sort, you would not feel intimidated walking in here at all. Other than snooker the Ballinteer house does food which is tasty, a carvery on a Sunday and they do a big breakfast that sorts out a hangover very quickly!

It was just a nap and shower stop. We took Bus H1 from zone 16. It took about 15 min to arrive to the hotel. Check In was fast. We were given a room upstairs. They don't have elevators, so you will have to take your luggage up via the stairs. The room was small. It is dated, but clean and appropriate for one night or a quick stop. The room stays pretty cool with the windows open, but if you close the windows, it can get hot.

The staff were helpful and went out of their way to provide directions and recommendations for local restaurants. They have on site parking too which was great. The location is ideal, within walking distance from great restaurants on Baggot St. It's an easy walk into the center of town too, if needed, but we felt the immediate neighborhood was perfect for our stay. The house itself is set back from the street, so while it's in the city it felt uniquely quiet and safe. On our departure one of the staff said that they plan on remodeling the whole house in early 2023, so we are now even more excited about our next visit there.
