It genuinely saddens me to write this review because my first experience at this office last year was exceptional. The dentist and hygienist were both attentive, compassionate, and made me feel heard, something that had been missing from many of my prior dental experiences. After taking a few months away due to personal circumstances, I returned about five months later for a routine cleaning with tooth pain, hoping for the same level of care. Unfortunately, this visit was overshadowed by a very negative interaction with the office manager, Tania. While I understood and was not upset about an outstanding balance caused by an insurance issue, I was disappointed that it took several months for this to be brought to my attention. More concerning, however, was how the situation was handled. During our conversation, Tania asked my age and then began speaking to me in a noticeably condescending tone, repeatedly addressing me as "girl" rather than maintaining a professional manner. The discussion about the insurance matter became increasingly uncomfortable, as she then decided to bring my mother into the situation due to her being the policy holder. In every professional way, I expressed that she does not know me or my mother, nor does she understand the nature of our relationship. Despite this, she continued making assumptions and stated that although she is close with her own daughter, she would still cash a check without telling her. At one point, I asked if I could step away to speak with my mother directly. When I returned, I explained that I was willing to pay the balance and was simply waiting for my mother to send me the funds. In response, she made an additional remark stating "oh girl yea your mom definitely cashed that check and doesn't want to tell you" which I found inappropriate and unprofessional. When I ultimately asked to cancel my appointment due to both the unresolved insurance issue and discomfort with the interaction, I was met with further unprofessional comments, including suggestions that I should simply pay out of pocket or just ask my mother for money. As someone who works in healthcare, I found this experience particularly disappointing. Patients should be treated with respect, professionalism, and without personal assumptions. While I still believe the dentist and hygienist provide excellent care, this interaction has made me uncomfortable returning to the office. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no patient should feel diminished during what should be a supportive healthcare experience. read more

Who knew going to the dentist could be so fun? And if you know me, I am terrified of the dentist. Brookstone Dental Care is the kind of place you actually look forward to visiting! The staff are so friendly, they make you feel like you're hanging out with a group of cool friends rather than getting your teeth taken care of. The waiting area is like a spa, with comfy chairs and relaxing music. They even have complimentary snacks and beverages for when you're done with the dentist I assume. I barely had time to warm the seat before they called me back. As for the dental work itself, it was painless for the most part and quick considering what I needed done. I'm no longer afraid to visit the dentist now because of such a great experience. I have lived with my insecurity of having bad teeth for years dating as far back as junior high school. I was afraid to smile because all I would focus on was the embarrassment of my bad teeth. I had a double tooth on my lower and upper set. They were crooked and stained. I adjusted my pose in pictures where I wouldn't show my teeth. As my life went on and I grew older I avoided pictures where I had to smile. I spent less attention to my teeth and tried to focus on other things in life, but was always reminded of my embarrassment when I would go to brush or caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Things changed when I met my future wife. We were in the Airport talking as I waited for my flight back to California and the subject came up when I wouldn't smile in pictures. I share with her my insecurities about my teeth. After I moved to Phoenix to be with her, she mentioned that I should find a dental group to schedule our cleanings. I thought to myself, "They're going to need a lot more than a cleaning for them to look good!" I made the appointments and we went in for our cleaning. That is when we met Dr. Goldring and The Brookstone crew and everything changed. He saw the condition of my teeth and assured me that they were repairable. The same day Brookstone Dental worked up a dental plan and timeline to improve my dental health and fix the appearance of my teeth. My wife and I agreed to the plan and everything was set in motion! I was a journey starting with removing my double teeth that had been an eyesore for years. We worked on improving my dental health with cleanings and other necessary upkeep and before I knew it, I was in braces! I immediately became more comfortable smiling and my wife repeatedly told me what an awesome smile I had. Over the next couple years, during my cleaning and adjustment visits, Dr. Goldring assured me that I may not notice the little changes my teeth are making in the right direction. However, I did notice the change and I was excited and encouraged to make sure I was always taking the best care of my dental health. About a month ago, the day came and I finally had the braces removed. I looked in the mirror and saw a different person looking back at me. This person was much better looking, had confidence and an awesomea good smile! I'll tell anyone who asks about my smile, its by Brookstone Dental and my loving wife. Unfortunately, one of my old fillings (not from Brookstone) started decaying under the filing and required a root canal. I was dissatisfied with my previous dentist and found Brookstone via Yelp. My very first visit was preparatory to a root canal... so not exactly ideal circumstances. Fortunately, Brookstone totally took care of me. Root canal went off with zero issues. I am extremely disappointed in the level of professionalism from Tania, the office manager. She submitted my insurance claim FOR A ROUTINE CLEANING incorrectly to my insurance and when the claim did not pay she turned me over to a collection agency! I called the office several times, and even went into the clinic during COVID just to hand her the card and ask her to ensure me that she would handle the situation. At my next visit she assumed me that the claim was paid. NOW, weeks later the collection agency called to tell me that they turned it over to my credit report! How can this level of service even be acceptable these days!? I have enjoyed the clinic otherwise, but now feel I must find an alternative. Okay quick background: I am starting Invisalign this year and I was recommended to see a dentist for a cleaning, now this week is the first time I have been to the dentist in YEARS and I'll admit I'm looking forward to going back and I will be going back. No cap Judy took such good care of me here at Brookstone Dental, not only did she take the time to get to know me before I got my cleaning but she also gave me the run down of what she would be doing beforehand, showed me the tools that she was going to use and what they do--she even gave me a blanket because I was cold, and that meant a lot because usually my experience has never been like this--which is probably why I stopped going to the dentist--but at Brookstone I felt like I was being taken care of and educated, I've learned a lot about oral health within the past two days than ever before. First time patient last week and wow, what a great office to go to. From the moment you call to schedule your phone call is answered right away with the lovely Seira. She is very patient, kind and accommodating to get you set up with an appointment (thank you for also obtaining xrays from my last office a year ago since my insurance wouldn't cover them for another two years). Dr. Goldring is the man who runs the place, and he's fantastic. I had a great experience there getting my wisdom teeth removed. I've never had a surgery of any kind before this and even though this one is fairly minor I was still nervous. I do NOT like being stuck, stabbed, or otherwise cut at all. I had no problems. Dr. Goldring is obviously very skilled and also loves what he does. He seemed to really care about putting me at ease and everything went smoothly. Before I knew it, I was out the door (minus 4 teeth). The staff overall were very friendly, professional, and all clearly part of the same team, which was cool to see. The dentist and assistants are good but there overcharge. I went in for a cleaning. I told them that I need them to stay within a certain budget based on what my insurance would cover. They insured me that would be no problem. My initial copay was $95. I was later bill for an additional $150 making my total out of pocket - with insurance - for a cleaning $245. read more

I was found walking north on Tatum full of blood and crying. Thankfully my daughters drove past me (they were going to the dentist office to check on me.) This dentist didn't inform me the consequences of doing full dentures at 37, I suffered from malnutrition as a result from not being able to eat. Still cant eat over a year later. I took my husband to Brookstone Dental because a friend of mine recommended them. He was having a massive tooth ache and needed to be seen asap. DR. Goldring and his staff are awesome! They were able to get him in that same day and pulled his tooth. There price was reasonable and even worked with me on a short payment plan. They were professional and super nice.
