I went to a wedding here as a guest and although I had a wonderful time with my friends I couldn't…read morehelp but think of all the things that would annoy me as the bride. 1. My friends got married inside. The wall in which they got married in front of had a fire alarm right in the middle. That fire alarm will be in EVERY picture!! I would go crazy! 2. That same wall had a light fixture with lamp shades. The lamp shades were crooked. 3. The sweetheart table had NO light on them. In fact for the first hour we couldn't figure out where they were sitting. There was light during speeches thanks to their photographer. 4. The cocktail area space is so small! You could barely walk from one side to the other. As a guest it was extremely uncomfortable. 5. The food was okay and there was a great dessert table but the table was outside the ballroom so you barely knew it was there. 6. Last, the bartenders were so slow! There were two bars and a nonstop line at both bars all night. They should have had more help. I would not suggest having your wedding there unless you are paying under $90pp because it should not be more than that.

While attempting to locate the perfect venue for our wedding, we stumbled upon Lippincott Manor. Once we arrived, we started pointing out all of the pleasant small details that caught our eye later to find out that the owner, Marty, was the artist behind most of what you'll see. We loved that! The decor was exactly what we had hoped to find and the tent with retractable sides was perfect for anyone who still had reservations about being in an enclosed space with a large group due to Covid. We saw it as a win win! Tricia was the second half of the one two punch that would seal the deal and have us walking away talking about how "perfect" the venue & owners were the entire 2 hour ride back home. Questions were answered by them that we never would've even thought to ask. The level of professionalism and conciseness was impeccable. They both made what anyone planning a wedding would know to be a stressful time as pleasant and easy as possible. The communication was fantastic. Tricia clearly doubles as a wedding planner and thank God for that because she kept everything in order and on schedule. We wouldn't have had a successful wedding day without her! So now our big day arrives and the network of bakers, DJ's and photographers Lippincott utilizes meshed together as seamless as we had hoped. The fact that they work together so often made the night go smoothly and freed us up to enjoy time with our family & guests. The all inclusive package is the way to go! We danced all night long all the while catching glimpses of our newest friends Tricia and Marty smiling and clearly enjoying seeing everyone just as happy as we were. For anyone who's looking for a semi rustic and comfortable vibe, look no further than Lippincott Manor.

After searching for many years for the right place, we have been coming here every season for four…read moreyears. We knew it was the right place when, our first year, we got there about an hour after closing as we were coming all the way from Queens. Nevertheless, Kurt, one of the owners, and his staff went above and beyond by welcoming us and giving us a private, after-dark tour of the grounds. Each year, the Emmerichs add new, tasteful additions to their business, growing it more and more into a Winter Wonderland of Holiday Cheer! After you park, a tractor ride will bring you up to the pavilion where you can get (free!) hot cocoa; buy some Christmas wreaths repurposed by Karen, the other owner, from the leftover tree branches; warm yourself by an ever-burning fire; or patronize the new fancy hot dog food truck (veggie dogs too!). Then it's on to selecting and cutting down your tree from the acres of diverse trees on the Emmerich property (they have pre-cut ones too, but what's the fun in that?!). Kurt's hospitality is top-notch, and it's a pleasure every year for our family, marking the start of a new holiday season. The hospitality, friendliness, and seeing the owners reinvest their profit back into their business every year harkens back to a day long ago when businesses were small, tasteful, family-owned, and truly cared about their customers and their product.

Visiting Texas in the last two years I learned what great bbq tastes like and I can honestly say that they matched the deliciousness hands down. The amount of proper time needed for the meats to be in a smoker was obviously perfected by them since the bbq came out tender and with the right amount of smokiness flavor. Eating their food is one of the rare times that I would eat the same food for a few days and it tastes just as great each time and I enjoy each time. On top of that, they are such sweet people and that is also a necessity for me. I can't wait till I can enjoy their delicious bbq again, and feel the warm memories of when I visited my family in Texas, which is priceless.
