Despite the constant rush, both of them remained friendly, professional, and welcoming to everyone. Their dedication, teamwork, and kindness made a noticeable difference and created a great experience for customers. Thank you both for all your hard work--you are truly appreciated!

Hanger steak panini and empanada…read more I would not recommend this establishment. The hanger steak was not fresh and not only worse than it looks, it was not edible, as some of the ingredients were foul. The empanada was not any better. Almost $40 for these two items, a drink and a cookie. Not worth it at all! I had to add a star for the post otherwise it would have been zero stars.

We had 65+ guest for our son's graduation party and everyone raved about the food, the service and the day. First impression, the venue is beautiful the grounds and the inside are updated very nicely and decorated for Mother's Day. We sat down excited for our brunch, we order or drinks complimentary mimosas for mother's- was very nice. The rest of us ordered other brunch drinks, we don't think any of our drinks had any alcohol in them at all, we did not order a second round. It was then our turn to go up to the buffet- we could not find where to get the plates from. There were mini plates around but if you wanted a larger plate you had to wait inline for the kids and breakfast buffet. The food was just not good at all and very unorganized. The hashbrowns and Waffles were hard as rock, couldn't cut into them, bacon was practically raw, and items that should've been kept warm weren't. The stations were constantly empty. I would like to love this place, hopefully they will improve.

We stumbled on the Inn at the Ridge through some Google searching. We only spent two nights, Friday and Saturday, so we were treated to Sal's weekend cooking. Easily among the best food at a B&B that we've ever had. When I booked, I didn't realize that I had booked the one room with a disconnected bathroom. Yes, it's private, but downstairs. Since the Inn wasn't completely full, they offered to relocate us to another open room, we didn't ask, they just suggested it. The house is old, like real old, so expect some quirks like wide creaky floors etc. The beds were quiet though, which was the important thing. Each room is uniquely decorated. The Inn is a nice distance from busy areas but not so far as to be a hardship. It's extremely close to Angry Orchard's Innovation cider mill, a state park with great trails, and even a little college town. I could probably go on, but Yelp's review editor is giving me issues. We'd definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Our room was very comfortable with a king-sized bed. The location was perfect - close to Minnewaska state park, as well as several nearby towns and a few good restaurants. The breakfasts were the highlight of the experience! One of the hosts is a CIA-trained chef and he made fabulous food for us - chocolate-stuffed french toast, a great frittata, and more. They serve breakfast at a communal table, which is nice for getting to talk to the other guests there. We would definitely stay here again.

Communication: fast and responsive, including a meeting at my home to discuss the menu and the layout of the buffet. Heather is knowledgeable, professional, and VERY pleasant to work with. As noted in another review, her calm calmed me. Food: ALL DELICIOUS --appetizers and a fabulous buffet of fried chicken and pulled pork and, in the full spirit of summer, a number of flavorful sides: three big salads -- strawberry & fennel, melon, mango & cucumber -- plus a Mediterranean seasoned cous cous and lots of little cheese & tomato tarts. Everything was delicious AND the presentation was beautiful. Punctuality: All communication was super fast, and delivery occurred at exactly the time promised. There was a lovely, relaxed pace to the entire evening that reminded me of dining in Europe, where no one rushes you through a meal. In fact, the staff encouraged us to stay, enjoy our time together, and continue chatting with our family. They even kept refilling our water glasses long after we had finished eating. Honestly, how often does that happen at a restaurant? It was such a thoughtful touch. Every member of the staff was friendly and welcoming. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and thanked just as warmly when we left. That kind of genuine hospitality makes all the difference. The food and wine were equally wonderful. Everyone in our party raved about their dish ( the pasta special with crab and lobster over linguine, Gorgonzola chicken were great as was the salmon pistachio) and their wine, and the Dubai chocolate cake was absolutely incredible. The place itself is also such a beautiful restaurant, making the entire experience feel special. Between the delicious food, excellent wine, beautiful surroundings, and genuinely exceptional service, this was a memorable evening from beginning to end. We felt welcomed, comfortable, and never rushed. I highly recommend Cibo e Vino and look forward to returning. This is my third time here and it's gotten better and better.

There was a parking spot in front of this one so it made our choice easy We were immediately greeted by a very friendly staff. The restaurant itself is lovely, with ample seating inside as well as outside and a lovely view of boat docks, and the water. Kelsea was our server and she was exceptional in every way. Her backup helpers were also very attentive and efficient. The bread was just OK, but it turned absolutely delicious with the unique dipping oil that had thin slices of seared squash and garlic (and mushrooms maybe) in it. Chef's kiss to this dipping oil. Coffee was good, but could have been served hotter we had a refill that was served at the same temperature, slightly hotter than lukewarm We ordered: Zuppa del Giorno $13 very good but I needed to add a heck of a lot of salt and pepper to it. I suppose it's better to need to add salt to it then to have it be too salty. But once I added the salt and pepper it was delicious Lobster bisque @ $12 was more liquidy than I'm used to, and although had pieces of shrimp -I did not see any pieces of lobster. But the flavor was very good Lamb shank at $55 served over risotto. My husband said it was excellent. He didn't need a knife to cut it. I ordered the sea scallops $45 and asked for them to be served with vegetables and potatoes instead of risotto. Five scallops were served and the meal was very good. Similar to the coffee it could've been served hotter but it was still very good. The women's restroom was clean and well stocked, my husband told me that the men's room only had a urinal which I found extremely odd and made him send me a picture to prove it because I didn't believe him. But then he told me there is an "all gender" bathroom, which made that make a little more sense. The food is a solid four, but the outstanding service we received making our presence feel so valued and appreciated, along with the great view adds up to a five for me.
