His company works with various contractors (e.g. plumbers, electricians, etc) so I didn't have to make a single call or worry about anything. Once my house was under contract, David and I went out the very next day looking for a new house for me to buy. I found one I liked and David put in the offer that night. His advice to me was crucial during negotiations and I got the house and some closing help from the seller. We had some delays closing on the new house (from the seller's end) and David kept me updated and was in constant touch with the seller's realtor. I now own the house, and David is still helping me arrange for some electrical work to be done. House selling/buying can be a very stressful and emotional process, but David Vane made the experience a pleasure. He knows what he's doing and he is PHENOMENAL! We messaged her personal number she gave us multiple times, followed up through Thos D Walsh, and emailed, never heard anything back. Overall, felt scammy and never got a response from her or anyone. The management is not familiar with more modern ways to verify employment and income (such as third party service) and insisted on unredacted pay stubs - which is much less secure. The interaction as we went back and forth was rude and reminded me of scammers trying to get one to divulge information urgently (because so many people are interested in the apartment!) at the cost of better judgement. In trying to get more information from me they cited their "policies" but being unable to articulate why their policy insists on having the information I didn't want to share (like my pre-tax deductions) This conversation was not with some mid-level employee but what seemed to be the owner. I should hope he could articulate the reasoning behind his own policy! To me, this company clearly orients themselves to customer service of property owners, not renters.
