Don't Believe the False Facebook Posts - Epic Dog Academy Is the Real Deal…read more I need to share my experience because there's a lot of misinformation going around about Epic Dog Academy. If you've seen those Facebook posts linking them to animal abuse - please, don't believe them. I fell for those rumors myself at first, and I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake. I had signed my dog, Obi-Wan, up for the two-week training program and was so excited. But right after I told a friend, she sent me a Facebook group filled with terrible claims about EDA. I panicked and immediately called to cancel. Vincent, the owner, was incredibly understanding and patient. He explained that all those claims were false and even showed me proof - including records exposing the people behind the posts as having serious legal and credibility issues, but even though I already paid and signed all the paperwork - he still immediately refunded me my payment to give me time to do additional research. This is something he could have pushed back on but didn't, which really showed me what a kind and understanding business this was. Even so, I made sure to do my own research before forming any opinions. What I found was truly alarming: the main individual behind that Facebook group has a documented history of serious issues, including animal cruelty charges (all public record). His daughter once briefly worked with Vince - the owner of Epic Dog Academy - many years ago at a completely separate business. Shortly after, Vince left to establish Epic Dog Academy with his wife, Olivia. To be clear, the two individuals who now run that Facebook group have no real connection to Epic Dog Academy. The false claims they're spreading about the owner are completely unfounded and unsupported by any evidence, plus most of the negative comments appear to come from people associated with them. Once I realized the truth, I re-enrolled Obi-Wan - this time in their day training program. I drop him off in the morning and pick him up in the afternoon. It gave me total peace of mind to see him daily, and I can confidently say that not only is he perfectly fine - he's thriving. The results have been beyond my expectations. Obi-Wan listens better than ever, he's happier, and he actually gets excited to go every morning. Erin, his trainer, is absolutely phenomenal. She's patient, knowledgeable, and keeps me updated every day with photos and progress reports through their app. Christy at the front desk is another gem - her warmth and understanding make every drop-off and pick-up a breeze. Every single person I've interacted with at Epic Dog Academy truly loves what they do, and it shows. They treat every dog like their own. I can say with complete confidence that my dog is safe, happy, and receiving the best possible training here. Please do yourself a favor - don't let false online rumors stop you from giving EDA a chance. Check things out for yourself. I'm so glad I did, because Epic Dog Academy has completely transformed my dog's behavior and confidence. It's been worth every single penny (and I signed up for the Honor program!) I have given EDA permission to share my number with anyone who is hesitant to sign up. I'd be happy to share my experience with you if needed. -- Pictures of Obi-Wan were sent to me through the EDA app during his day training!

The transformation we've seen in Baku has completely exceeded my expectations, and I honestly couldn't be more proud of him. From the beginning, Alex was patient, knowledgeable, professional, and clearly dedicated to helping Baku succeed. Look no further! Ryan and Limitless Dog Training is the place to take your dog for expert training…read more Ryan is a master at training both your dog and you. Our Golden Retriever puppy, Maple, was out of control with biting, destroying everything from her blankets, her toys, our backyard landscape, and even the walls and base molding around the house. We tried to take her on walks but she would pull us around the neighborhood, and every little distraction scared her to death. We've owned four other Goldens in the past and never experienced this kind of wild behavior. Then came Ryan... he assured us that this behavior could be corrected with the right leadership, so we signed up for his two-week boot camp experience. The two weeks seemed like forever but when he brought her home she was our same familiar Maple but oh what a difference in her demeanor and behavior. Then Ryan followed up with us a week later and he reviewed with us all of our challenges that we were still experiencing. We quickly realized the problem wasn't Maple, it was us. Lots of little details like how to properly sync the electronic collar with the clicker, and keeping our finger on the clicker button so that we could engage it in a timely manner, etc. Once we got the hands-on training that we needed, Maple has transformed into a sweet, calm and well-behaved Golden Retriever. Thanks Ryan for your expertise and your expert training techniques. Ryan really understands how to train your dog in a positive manner so that you can reward their good behavior instead of reacting to the dog's misbehavior. Now we're looking forward to our weekly Saturday morning park instructions with several other dogs and all kinds of normal distractions that Maple will have to deal with when we take her out for walks, fun and play. Ryan, you are amazing! Thank you so much.

I honestly don't know how to fully express my gratitude to David and his team at Performance K9…read more My dog, Pooka, is a German Shepherd who is almost nine years old. He has always been high-strung and reactive, and he was aggressive toward both strangers and other dogs. Every daily walk was spent in fear and constant tension, and I had almost given up hope that he could ever change. By chance, I was talking with ChatGPT about my dog, and it recommended Performance K9 Training and Boarding School as something worth trying. To my surprise, Pooka passed David's interview and was accepted into the program. After just three weeks of training, Pooka is a completely different dog -- a calm, obedient good boy. I no longer have to be on edge every time I take him out. To make sure the change was real, I stood with him outside a busy grocery store. With people coming and going all around him, Pooka showed no fear or agitation, and he did nothing to embarrass me. He was as calm as if he were at home. I could hardly believe it. David truly lives up to his reputation as a world-championship-winning trainer -- he understands dogs and genuinely loves them. I'm also very grateful to Sabrina, Julia, and Christina, who are warm, responsive, and attentive, and who make clients feel welcome and at ease. Once again, thank you to David and the entire Performance K9 team. I highly recommend them to anyone reading this review. If your dog has problems like Pooka's, go to Performance K9 -- it is worth every penny. Hui and Lucy

Needless to say, this behavior does not bode well with my neighbors. I just moved here just a few weeks ago, and already began having problems with my dog, Faith. I met with Glenn Massie two times within ten days of the other. He had come to my place. He was very generous with his time and showed me how my lack of leadership was contributing to my dog's reactive behavior. He taught me that having my dog walking by my side vs in front of me or pulling on the leash, is where strengthening our bond begins. I no longer use a retractable leash. I only apply tension to the leash when I want to bring her back to my side. We avoid situations that might trigger her to become reactive. I have treats ready for her to distract her, offset any element of surprise for example getting on and off the elevator. While praising her, I have changed my cadence and intonation to be consistent with I am in control and I got this! This includes people passing by on skateboards, cyclists, children running about and having fun in the park. I am not going to change her or "correct" her behavior, but I am better able to manage it more responsibly. Thanks again Glenn!
