    Chicken and Buttermilk Waffle

I was pleasantly surprised with my food from Brooklyn Waffle House. Uber Eats had a promotion going on where you can buy 1 entree get 1 free, so I said what the heck, I'll give it a try! When I received my food, I was shocked how well it traveled! No soggy waffles or cold chicken -- win! Not only did the food travel well, but it was also very good. The homemade syrup is so good! Not sure what's in it, but it tastes great! The Mac and cheese lacked flavor and was on the more oily side however -- probably wouldn't recommend this. My only complaint is that it took almost 2 hours to receive my food. I ordered at 11 am and my food didn't arrive until 12:52 pm. I live in the vicinity, so I'll just try to pick up next time instead of ordering online.

Brooklyn Waffle House is SO underrated and such a hidden gem. I wish I discovered this place sooner! Initially, I was contemplating between this place and the Belgian Waffle Bar but ultimately chose this place as the waffles looked really good and the prices were much more reasonable. $10.00 to $12.25 for chicken and waffles? Count me in! I ordered the Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle and the Passion Fruit Lemonade for delivery via Uber Eats and added the Brooklyn Waffle House Sauce as well for an additional $0.75 to avoid the Uber Eats small order fee. The Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle came with butter and maple syrup on the side. The chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned; the red velvet waffle was thick, soft and so fluffy! I was kind of expecting the red velvet waffle to just be waffle + red food coloring, but you really can taste the "red velvet." So so so delicious! The Brooklyn Waffle House Sauce was nice and creamy as well, but I didn't use much of it. As for the Passion Fruit Lemonade, I asked for the ice separately, but I guess they forgot the ice entirely. Not that I minded though--I had ice at home, I just didn't want the ice to water down the drink. As for the order itself, everything, from the Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle down to the Passion Fruit Lemonade, was nicely packed. They even taped the top of the Passion Fruit Lemonade to ensure it wouldn't spill. So thoughtful, thank you! Delivery came quick and I was left satiated. Will definitely be visiting this little gem again!

This review is for a delivery. Ordered from Uber eats and was uber dissatisfied. Chicken was over cooked to the point it was hard. The entire meal, waffles and salmon pasta was luke warm if not cold and the delivery took 1.5 hours. Salmon Pasta tasted like boxed Mac and cheese, with bell peppers thrown on top. Definitely would never order again.

I was a little confused about the many names they operate under, but the food was amazing!! The chicken tasted like I knew it from a previous life! The waffles were fluffy and were just a good as the chicken. I however, don't use regular syrup, I use maple!! Regular is for the peasants! LOL! Order your meal here and you shouldn't be disappointed. Delivery from Uber eats leaves a little to be desired, but that has nothing to do with them. Big thumbs up!!

The outdoor seating looked pleasant. The service was cheerful and attentive. We ordered the Chicken & Oreo waffles and the Baked BBQ Jerk Turkey Wings and mashed potatoes. My wife and I ordered Mimosas, which were fine. The turkey wings were well seasoned and fell off the bone, but there wasn't a hint of barbecue or jerk, which annoyed me. The chicken did not taste well seasoned for Southern cuisine. The mashed potatoes were good. The Oreo waffles were light on the Oreos and came out as pictured, without the whip cream or other toppings that typically adorn a specialty meal. I only mention this because the cost is a bit on the high side, setting expectations up. Our server Kitana was very nice and attentive. It's fine for a low key meal with family and friends. I hope it succeeds even though I won't be rushing back.

Lots of people were coming for takeout, and that was the plan originally, but i decided to stay once i walked in and realized it'll be a cute brunch date with just us in an empty restaurant. The service was great. We were greeted immediately upon entry. Asked if we wanted to dine in or go... and was able to choose where we wanted to be seated because the restaurant only had a few other patrons eating in. I chose a table in the middle of the restaurant. The vibes were good as it was a Pandora playlist of 2000s R&B. We were given menus and ordered our food. The price point is okay. A bit high but not too much. We ordered a passion fruit lemonade and a rum punch for drinks, and then chicken and strawberry waffles for me, and shrimp and Oreo waffles for my date. The shrimp were huge!! It comes 6 to an order, and as you can see 4 triangle pieces that amount to 1 waffle. The chicken was delicious. Juicy, tender and flavorful. Hot sauce and other condiments are available on the table. I had to ask for syrup tho. We hung out for a few after we finished our meal and didn't feel pressured to leave or to pay. All in all, I'd definitely return to try other things on their menu. I'd give it a 4 out of 5 for this one. Because it's walking distance from my home it's an easy choice for brunch for me. A win is a win! See photos below.

The Confit mushroom toast was delicious. Salty, but flavorful. I didn't like poached eggs until I had this starter, because they did it right. The Sunday Pancakes were beautiful! A bit crispy but almost sponge/fluffy soft inside. The hazelnut maple praline was not too sweet. I'd recommend eating it as soon as it arrives at the table. The Sunday burger was great as well. I got hash browns as well..crisped up rectangular hash brown made from frozen. So disappointing..I was hoping for real freshly made ones. They tasted like the oil they were cooked in so I had to doze with them with sauces. Their ice tea is on point! Fragrant earl grey.. so good. And overall I appreciate the range of n/a drinks.
