Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle & Passion Fruit Lemonade
    Mei Qin Z.

Brooklyn Waffle House is SO underrated and such a hidden gem. I wish I discovered this place sooner! Initially, I was contemplating between this place and the Belgian Waffle Bar but ultimately chose this place as the waffles looked really good and the prices were much more reasonable. $10.00 to $12.25 for chicken and waffles? Count me in! I ordered the Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle and the Passion Fruit Lemonade for delivery via Uber Eats and added the Brooklyn Waffle House Sauce as well for an additional $0.75 to avoid the Uber Eats small order fee. The Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle came with butter and maple syrup on the side. The chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned; the red velvet waffle was thick, soft and so fluffy! I was kind of expecting the red velvet waffle to just be waffle + red food coloring, but you really can taste the "red velvet." So so so delicious! The Brooklyn Waffle House Sauce was nice and creamy as well, but I didn't use much of it. As for the Passion Fruit Lemonade, I asked for the ice separately, but I guess they forgot the ice entirely. Not that I minded though--I had ice at home, I just didn't want the ice to water down the drink. As for the order itself, everything, from the Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle down to the Passion Fruit Lemonade, was nicely packed. They even taped the top of the Passion Fruit Lemonade to ensure it wouldn't spill. So thoughtful, thank you! Delivery came quick and I was left satiated. Will definitely be visiting this little gem again!

This review is for a delivery. Ordered from Uber eats and was uber dissatisfied. Chicken was over cooked to the point it was hard. The entire meal, waffles and salmon pasta was luke warm if not cold and the delivery took 1.5 hours. Salmon Pasta tasted like boxed Mac and cheese, with bell peppers thrown on top. Definitely would never order again.

Pretty cool Waffle house, I know the south has The wafflehouse, but we new yorkers have Brooklyn waffle house and sticky's. Came here after a long day at work. I wanted to try the Chicken & waffles, but the young lady who was at the cash register told me the chicken wasn't fresh so I would have to wait until thirty minutes for fried chicken, so she suggested I try the shrimp and waffles. she was right the shrimp and waffles were delicious and pretty good. "Enijah .V" was the young lady at the cash register she was very nice and helpful and friendly too, she told me she was the manager at the Brooklyn wafflehouse Bedford-Stuyvesant location 434 Hancock street. , there have three locations one in Crown heights on Nostrand avenue, the next one in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn on Nostrand avenue further down, and the next location on Bedford-Stuyvesant on Hancock street. This location is the Flatbush section. unfourtnely this location doesn't have an indoor place to sit down, probably during the warm weather season there is a chair and table to sit outside like a cafe' . the crown heights and the Bedford -Stuyvesant location has an indoor table & chairs & outdoor table & seats (cafe"). I'll definitely be back to try the chicken and waffles !!!!!. P.S. 1.you can always order on Grubhub, Seamless, DoorDash or Postmates, or Uber eats!. 2. There have different waffle flavors to try!. Very convient by the mta transporation: Subway: 2,5-Train.Church Avenue, Train station Bus: B44,B35,B49

I was a little confused about the many names they operate under, but the food was amazing!! The chicken tasted like I knew it from a previous life! The waffles were fluffy and were just a good as the chicken. I however, don't use regular syrup, I use maple!! Regular is for the peasants! LOL! Order your meal here and you shouldn't be disappointed. Delivery from Uber eats leaves a little to be desired, but that has nothing to do with them. Big thumbs up!!

The outdoor seating looked pleasant. The service was cheerful and attentive. We ordered the Chicken & Oreo waffles and the Baked BBQ Jerk Turkey Wings and mashed potatoes. My wife and I ordered Mimosas, which were fine. The turkey wings were well seasoned and fell off the bone, but there wasn't a hint of barbecue or jerk, which annoyed me. The chicken did not taste well seasoned for Southern cuisine. The mashed potatoes were good. The Oreo waffles were light on the Oreos and came out as pictured, without the whip cream or other toppings that typically adorn a specialty meal. I only mention this because the cost is a bit on the high side, setting expectations up. Our server Kitana was very nice and attentive. It's fine for a low key meal with family and friends. I hope it succeeds even though I won't be rushing back.

Lots of people were coming for takeout, and that was the plan originally, but i decided to stay once i walked in and realized it'll be a cute brunch date with just us in an empty restaurant. The service was great. We were greeted immediately upon entry. Asked if we wanted to dine in or go... and was able to choose where we wanted to be seated because the restaurant only had a few other patrons eating in. I chose a table in the middle of the restaurant. The vibes were good as it was a Pandora playlist of 2000s R&B. We were given menus and ordered our food. The price point is okay. A bit high but not too much. We ordered a passion fruit lemonade and a rum punch for drinks, and then chicken and strawberry waffles for me, and shrimp and Oreo waffles for my date. The shrimp were huge!! It comes 6 to an order, and as you can see 4 triangle pieces that amount to 1 waffle. The chicken was delicious. Juicy, tender and flavorful. Hot sauce and other condiments are available on the table. I had to ask for syrup tho. We hung out for a few after we finished our meal and didn't feel pressured to leave or to pay. All in all, I'd definitely return to try other things on their menu. I'd give it a 4 out of 5 for this one. Because it's walking distance from my home it's an easy choice for brunch for me. A win is a win! See photos below.

We got the strawberry waffle, egg and cheese sandwich with chicken sausage, hashbrowns, carrot cake muffin and orange juice. The egg and cheese sandwich was my favorite. It was very flavorful and the chicken sausage we added to it was delicious. The strawberry waffle was my next favorite, although I felt the strawberry syrup on it tasted artificial if there was too much in one bite. The chantilly cream on top was delicious though. The carrot muffin was ok, it was a pretty standard bakery item. I did not like the hashbrowns at all. Very bland and felt more like a plain baked potato than hashbrown. The orange juice was good and is truly fresh squeezed.

Good biscuits w/ butter to start, too. Quick with refills for water and coffee and clearing unused plates. Good bacon, too. Solid breakfast pick but you could wait. Don't get the salad. The chicken and waffles was just ok... chicken lacked much flavor for me and just reminded me of a big chicken tender.

I visited in the evening. Who knows? My potato salad was a bit bland, and I was hoping for some pickle relish mixed in. (If you know, you know.) I'm not a fan of cobbler, but I thought I'd give it a shot. They also had apple cobbler, which I should have stuck with. I can't tell you how the cornbread dressing was.
