I'm shocked by the policy of this store! I bought for $580 lingerie yesterday for my wife as a gift. I came back the next day to return it. See attach the policy on their website (they do accept returns within 14 days of purchase) but guess what!? That's for online purchase only?! And If you buy in store, no refunds at all!! only store credit! This is pure robbery. If I knew I would have bought it online obviously wth!? Also it should be clear on their website that there are 2 types of return policy. My wife opened the gift and said: I won't wear this type of lingerie that's it. Did not even try it, nothing! Isadora, the owner, said that there is no exceptions but is happy to give me store credit... I don't even wanna have anything from this store as I feel like this is such a scam to have 2 types of return policy and don't even mention it on their website. Small & local stores complain that people don't buy there anymore but prefer to buy online. I did the mistake of buying there and will never go back. Update: OMG!!! I just checked the website policy today and guess what? the owner just changed it and added " online policy " into it and even says that online policy is different than in store policy!! I can't believe that! So she clearly realized that this was totally unfair when I told her yesterday and still won't refund me!? I emailed, Isadora, the owner twice this morning as I realized she just changed her policy after my experience and she just ignores my emails. Of course no phone number to speak to her. Such a disgusting way of making $$$!!! If you google the store you will see that she also treats her employees (that keeps changing) in terrible manners. read more

This place is seriously amazing. Went in for a fitting & new bras after years of going braless or wearing crappy old ones that were stretched out. I forget the name of the woman who fitted me (glasses, long brown hair, butterfly clips), but she was beyond helpful and sweet with an excellent bedside manner. There was a real body positive atmosphere here, and I could not be happier with the kindness of the staff, the quality of the bras, and my overall experience. It's rare to find a curated, specialty boutique like this without any trace of pretentiousness or aloofness. I heard other customers around me being treated with the same respect and warmth. It's a gem, especially for something as particular and sensitive as bra fitting/shopping. I'll be back many times, I'm sure. Thank you! read more

Lovely things / beautiful store but not size inclusive. On a few occasions have asked the store regarding their cosabella curve collection and was told that they only carry smaller sizes, didn't offer to help order in for me or select something for me from the cosabella collection that is available outside what they have in stock. Shame because so many of their brands carried do actually have these sizes for women of all shapes. read more

Do not waste your time or money coming to this store. If I could give this store zero stars... I WOULD. For a Lingerie store I expect so much more. I never take the time to come to yelp to write a review but I'm thoroughly disgusted by the management of this store. While shopping there someone I had no idea was the owner looks at my girlfriend in pure disgust, and still shoved a bunch of stuff in the room. She must have some unresolved issues she needs to work out because she's clearly racist. I hate to say this but the white couple in there received more attention and thought from her then we did. I don't care, but my issues stems from the inconsistency. From the moment we walked into the store we were treated far differently from the white couple. However, she only cared about us when we were purchasing their product. My girlfriend frequently came in to shop and noted how many new employees there are. She really only came in for the selected few that have been there the past few months. Normally my girlfriend loves coming in to chat with the other girls working there but the one time I come with her we were treated like shit by the owner. Went in today and all the chill girls that made the store experience so much better are now all gone. So if you don't want to be treated like a human being then feel free, give this store your money. Kyla helped me so much with my smaller band size and the challenges with proper fit that come from having a smaller band size. The customer service here is next level. I didn't feel pressured to buy, I felt worked with and I was able to try on a lot of things and take my time. The collections they have are highly curated and tend toward simplicity. They are beautiful foundational garments. I highly recommend getting fitted here and having a conversation with their staff about your challenges with bras. Are you a nonwhite person/medium to darker person of color and searching for a nude bra??? Wellllll keep on searching cuz Brooklyn Fox only carry shades for white people, or otherwise very pale people. How embarrassing, when I went in and asked for a nude close to my shade and they were like "there are none. Oh well." Somehow, Brooklyn Fox thought to make sizes up to E,F, and G cup, rare as those sizes are but when it comes to remembering there are several billion Brown women on earth who would like nudes which at least RESEMBLE our skin tones, they've forgotten about us. I won't support this brand because they're clearly exclusionary for brown women when it comes to nude. They only make nudes for those of pale complexions. read more

Best store in Brooklyn for lingerie. Friendly knowledgable staff. Great products. Will order our size If they don't have it and get it promptly. As a die hard fan / BK fox shopper... I liked the old location better because it was more intimate but this storefront on Bedford is a bigger space and it can accommodate more people so I suppose it's better for everyone... I liked the secret hidden spot element to the old storefront though. This is just me not liking change though and honestly it's like two blocks away and probably not that big of a deal. I am excited they are carrying swim wear and can't wait to try some on ! Highly recommend if your looking to invest in great lingerie ... Buying an every day bra is a Challenge, with a capital C. Especially when you have a larger bust size and only have a limited selection of DDD cups to choose from. I came to Brooklyn Fox because the brand I'd been using for the past few years now only sells its models online AND discontinued my favorite model, I reluctantly acknowledged I had to do the whole fitting dance again and hope for the best (I'm a firm believer that shopping online for bras is a certain recipe for disaster). I walked in on a packed Saturday around Memorial Day and thought "oh no.... no one is going to be able to properly help me..." But boy was I wrong. Within seconds, a kickass saleswoman by the name of Hayley came up to ask me if I needed help and when I said YES she was all over it. She helped me fine several new styles and fitted me to a T. She didn't oversell, telling me to try these out before buying multiples (I was looking for every day bras, after all) and after a couple of months now, I'm ready to go back and re-purchase with them. Extremely rude and unprofessional customer service. I bought a pair of Woolford stockings which were a bit pricy so I inquired about the quality. After a sales associate ensured that they never rip or tear (not even by a cat's scratch), I decided to buy them. The second I put the tights on, I noticed a number of flaws and they ripped in 3 places so I immediately brought them back to the store. The saleswoman explained that I could not exchange the damaged pair unless I directly contacted Woolford ... and that it was only "like, maybe, possible" the third party vendor would send a new pair. I've followed up with the store on 3 separate occasions since the incident and each time I have overheard snide comments about me calling to get my money's worth. I went into Brooklyn Fox last week without much of a plan and Kyla was awesome, making sure I saw as many options as possible and remained attentive the entire time I was there (which was a long time!) Came here because I knew I was wearing the wrong sized bras for forever and was tired of adjusting myself all day because it looked like I had 4 boobs. One of the saleswomen was like a bra size psychic because she guessed the correct size just by looking at me. Once I was measured I got a million dollar bra that fit amazingly and I was off and away. I stopped in because of all of the rave reviews on Yelp. There were 2 sales associates and none of them even acknowledged me in this tiny store. Sure, I'm sure they get a lot of foot traffic and window shoppers being off Bedford L, but I was really looking to buy and restock on new bras. I even called before hand to double check their store hours, and the girl wasn't even sure when they when going to close that day?! I never make time to go bra shopping because i have big boobs and it's always an ordeal and hot and I can think of 15 better ways to spend an afternoon. had been here before when they were in the mini mart and found a bra i liked so was happy to learn that had found a bigger home. Remember that scene in pretty woman when Julia Roberts goes shopping for the first time on Rodeo Drive and goes into that high end boutique and the sales woman are just like 'I don t think we have your size'?? This is the service experience here. I've been into this store countless times and each time same story- snooty and unhelpful. The only reason I went in recently was bc they had a maternity mannequin in the window (love!) and appeared to be selling high-end nursing bras. (Read- I'm 8 months pregnant and have disposable income). I asked to see said nursing bras and instead of showing me the saleswoman asked for my due date. Excuse me? And then proceeded to condescendingly tell me that they recommend only shopping for bras a week before the due date bc your boobs are so unpredictable and will become boob monsters and you'll never get the right size. Seeing as they are such pregnancy experts here they should know that the last thing I will ever do is go bra shopping a week before my due date. You work on commission, right? Big mistake, huge! I'm going to take my unpredictably large pregnant breast elsewhere. read more

Do not waste your time or your money by shopping here. I recently stopped by Brooklyn Fox and shared with the women working that I was shopping (for the very first time) for something for my wedding night. They picked out a couple of items for me but I told them I wanted to get a second opinion so would make the purchase but would be back to make a return if it wasn't the best fit for me. They said that would be no problem at all. I returned to the shop just a couple of days later to make the return and they informed me of their return policy. They do not accept returns. I asked them why nobody told me and they just said that they didn't know and they apologized. I asked if there was a sign or anything at all to let customers know their policy and they pointed to a sign that was flipped backwards so that only the employees behind the desk could see what it actually said. They apologized and said it was just a mistake that it had been flipped backwards for nobody to read. I wrote the owner of the shop and explained to her that I wanted to believe the best but was mislead by the employees and her signage. She wrote me back and told me that the return policy is written on the receipt. ( The receipt you receive AFTER you've made an actual purchase...meaning you wouldn't be able to make a return even if you wanted to after reading your receipt.) It'd be a huge mistake to shop here. They very clearly lie to and take advantage of honest customers. read more
