Solid pizza spot located on a busy street in Brooklyn. It's a tiny hole in the wall spot offering a variety of slices as well as full pies, plus some pin wheels. When we arrived there were only a few slices out, so we picked up one of each slice that was left. The white slice here was my favorite, packed with garlic and full of flavor, not bland at all like some white slices can be. The square slice was nice and crispy, with a solid cheese to sauce ratio. The regular slice was paper thin and crispy with a nice chew to it, but I wished it had a bit more of a crust to it honestly. The magic touch here is the homemade red pepper flakes. They have a Calabrian chili blend as well as a four pepper blend that is spicy AF, including ghost pepper and jalapenos. Overall, solid pizza spot. If I were ever in the area again I think I'd go for a full pie though so that my slices were nice and fresh.

I work in the neighborhood and I've been waiting for this place to open for quite some time. The staff is okay, some are friendlier than others. When the pizza is fresh, it's hot and delicious. It gives you the brick oven appeal, with its light, aerated, crispy crust. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients including that bit of basil on top. The calabrian chili pepper flakes was the cherry on top. This time I tried the broccoli pinwheel. Eo, I'm a really big fan of this item and usually pick it up. Wherever I see it, this one highly disappointed. It tastes like it was underbaked, cooled and put in the refrigerator, to be doled out as necessary. Then the guy cut my pinwheel in half before putting it in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes and it was still cool to the touch. Absolutely not. I'll stick with the slices from now on.

I was on a mini pizza crawl and had just been at the original Brooklyn DOP and I already made plans to come here, so I drove straight from the original to this second location. The colors of the exterior pop out at you and grabs your attention. The interior is also nicely decorated as well. There are a couple of tables, but the kitchen is far and beyond larger than the original with a massive electric pizza oven capable of churning out many pies and other items. I tried the white slice since I have gastritis, meaning red slices were a no go for me. But I'd say their white slice is great and they added a garlic confit on it to give it some pep and a lemon slice to add some tart to it to balance out the flavor. The pizzas looked great and the staff is enthusiastic and excited to be serving the Clinton Hill community. I was able to meet the founders Tom and Jason and they are wonderful and the care they put in their product is on display here. This pizzeria had only had its full opening last week, but this place is already a must visit in the Clinton Hill neighborhood. So I strongly recommend this pizzeria as a great place to get a good slice. Cheers!

I haven't had nyc style pizza in a while and this was fantastic! The crust is delicious and crispy and the cheese and sauce were on point. Their garlic knots and the homemade powder u can sprinkle on in the restaurant are also great. Will def return whenever i'm craving a slice

A great pizza addition to the neighborhood. The cheese and white are both great. It is awesome.

Since that time…read morethey have turned into a franchise and locations are popping up in some of the most unexpected places. While walking down Hoyt Street in downtown Brooklyn I saw the Taïm logo out of the corner of my eye and I knew I had to check it out. This location is located at the base of a new(ish) residential building and I found myself thinking about how great it would be to have a Taïm right downstairs from where I lived! The interior is an open space with bright colors and light wood decor that is comforting and welcoming at the same time. To the right is a small counter at the window and there are seats to the left. Further on towards the right is a counter where you order via a screen. Near that is the "pick up" shelf for online orders. The counter and kitchen are towards the back. Overall it is a nice set up. Of course, the question one asks when visiting a franchise location is: is the food as good as I remember from the original? I am happy to report it IS! Here's what I had: Green Falafel This is the traditional falafel that first had me fall in love with Taïm. It is made to order so it is fresh. The outside is nice and crisp while the inside is still soft (but not chewy). The flavor is on point thanks to some fantastic seasoning. Add in their Tahini and Whipped Garlic and it's a wonderful dish. Harissa Falafel As you'd expect, this is basically their regular falafel with some spicy harissa seasoning added in. There is a nice bite this adds to their already awesome flavor. Pita with Hummus The pita bread in this combo is topped with Za'atar seasoning, giving it an extra savory flavor. The hummus is not plain, instead it is also seasoned giving it some nice flavor. Now, it does not beat the likes of Hummus Kitchen or Hummus Place, but for fast casual it is very good! The pita bread was soft and chewy with fantastic flavor. A perfect vehicle to deliver Hummus! I was very happy to find this location and will definitely visit again.

I wanted them to know there was plastic in the food in hopes of preventing others from eating plastic, and I wanted a refund since my meal was inedible after finding a foreign object in it (I was less than halfway done). The manager Kim looked at the plastic and looked at me like I had five heads and asked what it is I wanted it. I explained I'd like a refund, and she said best she could do was give me 30% back. I said there was plastic in my food, and I couldn't eat it and I wanted a full refund. She went on to tell me that their food is wrapped in plastic and it's possible it got in the food. She then held the plastic top to the container my meal was served in and said "well, this is plastic" implying that there was no difference between something being served IN plastic and plastic being MIXED IN my food. It's concerning a manager of a food establishment would be so flippant about patrons ingesting foreign objects. I was honestly so shocked by her behavior that I said she was crazy to suggest that and walked out with no refund at all. I would honestly stay away from here if you care about your safety and well being.

There is bar seating as well as a variety of tables and chairs, making this place ideal for a meet up. I ordered the iced Organic Matcha Milky Strawberry with almond milk, and regular sugar. One thing I liked about these tablets is that it did have some recommended suggestions of what the best milk and sugar level would be for each drink. I found this drink was a little boring and wish I had ordered a topping like cheese foam in addition to it, but was served in a cute plastic mason jar looking cup. My friend got the Creamy Real Taro Paste Bobo with organic oat milk, milk tea and light ice. I had also selected the option to sample the Taro, but sadly was not offered any. This drink was much more exciting and I really enjoyed the unique flavors and texture when I got to try several sips of it. Again, one thing that really stood out was the variety of selections one could make when customizing their drink. This place looks like it has rotating/seasonal options and an interesting food menu as well and so I do plan on returning!
