What an amazing company!! I needed trees taken out from around my house, so I sent an email request late at night. The next day I had Peter reach out and schedule a time to meet up for a walk through and estimate. I've used his company before so I trust him. Two days later, a crew came at 7:15 am and worked until 10:40. Since the are coming back in the fall to trim my peach tree, he wouldn't even taken money for a deposit for the work. The crew cleaned up beautifully, so I can't tell they were here. Awesome job!!!! read more

Thank you Peter and your team. You took care of my large tree on the side of my house. Stump and all! If you ever have tree needs Brookfield tree service is the place. Small business and haven't best price out of the 3 calls I made! read more

Peter and Luis and Crew were awesome! Professional and left my 50 year old Chinese Elm looking like her arms (limbs) are raised up to Heaven! Pleasant and clean up was excellent- not a twig was left behind! Highly recommended! See you guys in another 5 years! read more

Great service. Peter was so nice helping to get a tree down, and remembering a quote from 6 months earlier. The crew was nice, careful and cognizant of their work. If I had more trees to take down I'd use them again. read more

Very honest owner and great workers. Reasonably priced and efficient. This company provides prompt service and left not a twig behind trimming a very tall tree and her branches which over hung our roof and the neighbors driveway. read more

They do great work. Peter was great to work with. Very professional. I will defiantly use them for my next tree service

We were really happy with Peter (the owner) and his team. We had just moved into our new home in River Forest. They removed 7 trees (with stumps) and also the garden waste pile we created before they came out. They also trimmed the remaining trees in our backyard. Peter came out and gave me a quote within a day or so of my inquiry. His pricing was better than three other companies. About a week later, he called to let me know they would be coming first thing the following morning. Peter personally showed up with his team on time and within an hour, they had done all the work. They did a nice job of cleaning up. They did accidentally knock down an electric line on the neighbor's property to their garage but they immediately addressed the issue to everyone's satisfaction. I would definitely use them again if we ever needed tree service. read more

First class professional company. I had 3 large trees removed and the job they did was fantastic. They were considerate of existing landscaping and their clean up was way more than expected. I highly recommend Brookfield tree service. read more

Great experience! Fair price, showed up as promised, excellent efficient work and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Highly recommend

Wonderful. Peter was fast to come give me an estimate, then fast to do the work. It all went very smoothly, and he is a pleasant, friendly man to work with. Terrific! read more

Peter and his son are fantastic. a quick quote and incredible service. They are a popular and busy service. Which means you are getting quality work. They are the best. Thanks Brookfield Tree!! you are our preferred Tree service from now on read more

2nd time they've done work (2 different locations) but they are punctual, hard working and professional ~ did a phenomenal "quick" (as in was impressed how easy they made it look) job removing a large dying tree and trimming others. read more

They removed 13 trees and stumped them. That was very good. However, a tree grew around several wires, and Peter refused to do anything about it. It's unsafe, and it looks awful (I posted a picture of it). I even offered to call ComEd or the phone company to disable the wires for them. Instead, Peter gave us a saw to do it ourselves!! For regular tree removal, they are fine. However, if you need anything special done, please think twice about hiring this company. read more

I was informed by my neighbor's niece that some of my trees had the ash tree disease according to Peter who were inspecting their trees. So, on the day they were working on their yard, I had Peter explained to me what tree problems I had. At the last minute I had them take care of the trees. Fair pricing and excellent job they did. Also, great clean up. I definitely recommend them. read more

After receiving a couple of quotes I hired Brookfield Tree Service to take out a few small trees and a huge old elm tree in our backyard. Their price was great. They promptly returned my initial phone call and were easy to communicate with. The crew showed up on time and did exactly what they quoted and hauled everything away. A neighbor saw them at my house and hired them to take out a huge dead tree in their yard too. Recommended! read more

Peter and his crew are amazing. They're so quick and careful, and extremely reasonably priced. I always had my calls answered and service was provided within a week of calling. Best value in the area for tree trimming and removal. They do tend to show up very early in the morning, so be sure to tell them if your village or town has a noise ordinance. read more

Highly recommended. Peter came out the day after I contacted him to give us a quote. Several of my neighbors greeted him because, unbeknownst to me, many of them use his services. They all told us how happy they are with him and they won't use anyone else. We feel the same way after working with him. He gave us a fair price and did an excellent job. We were very happy with everything - no complaints! read more

As usual, job well done. Did not expect anything else. Have used this company for quite a while now and they never disappoint! Peter has an amazing crew that work hard to get the job done. read more

Prompt, knowledgeable service. Highly recommend. Tree removal of 4 trees with no debris left about.

I received 5 different quotes to remove a large dead tree from my backyard and trim up another tree in my side yard. Brookfield Tree service had the best price by hundreds of dollars, they arrived on time, checked with the neighbors to make sure it was alright to go through their yard, had the work done in half a day and cleaned up well afterwards. I asked them to save me some wood from the tree and they cut it nicely into firewood and made a neat little stack of it on the side of my house. They didn't have many reviews on yelp but I took a chance on them anyway and am so glad I did. In conversation with a neighbor later I was talking about having a tree cut down from our yard and she told me that she had also used Brookfield Tree Service to cut a large tree out of her yard and had a great experience. read more

I had them trim my maples about 10 years ago and they did a great job. The time came for me to lose one of them and Peter and his crew were once again fantastic. When they left there wasn't a leaf or a twig to be found. I highly recommend Brookfield Tree Service. read more

Peter came out the same day I called and gave me a free estimate. Three days later they trimmed my tree. It was out of control and now looks beautiful. It was all done while I was at work. I came home to find no evidence they had been by except that my tree was done. They did a great job cleaning up! read more

I highly reccomend Brookfield Tree Service. I had serveral quotes and Peter was competitive with his pricing. Peter was very personable and took time with me talking about what I wanted to get done. His crew was also amazing and did a fantastic job cleaning up after a major pruning of my honey locust tree. Look no further.... Peter and his crew can do it!! :) read more

Do yourself a favor and get a quote. I have been using Peter and the crew since a friend recommended him 8 years ago. I rehab properties and need him at least once a year. Brookfield is a small operation with one crew so your are getting experienced professionals. They pull up to the property with the fleet of equipment and it feels like the cavalry has come to save you. They are quick and work clean. I have used them for trees but my favorite is cutting down and grinding out overgrown shrubs. I cannot calculate how much value he adds to a property once he has done his magic. read more

I had a couple trees trimmed by Brookfield tree service. They rolled out their trucks to my house and did an ok job of trimming my trees. However, the owner Peter does not return phone calls or call back a couple days later. I would definitely look for another tree cutting service next time around. read more
