As always, we had a fantastic experience at Bronx House Pizza last night. Our family really loves eating at this neighborhood-friendly establishment. We love the customer service (Ashley's infectious smile), the delicious New York style Italian food, and the casual atmosphere. My kids really aren't pizza lovers (shocking for kids, I know) so to get them to enjoy Italian takes real skill. They love watching the fresh pizzas as they're made. They like seeing selections and all the choices in appetizers. Plus, they have really cute coloring books. As for the food - the Bolognese sauce is to die for! I highly recommend the lasagna ball appetizer for this reason. The bruschetta is great too. We love all the calzones and pasta dishes we've ordered so far. Just really happy with this place. This isnt bad for pizza. A bit confusing when you come in. If you are eating in, take a seat. If not head to the counter. Kind of nice to see the pizza at the counter. I had the carnivore slice and candyce had beasts of burden. The slice was pretty nice sized for 4.50 a slice. The pizza was tasty and there were all types of spices and toppings at the table. These guys used being busy as an excuse to cut corners and serve shoddy food. How hard is it to do a 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni, shameful prep and cut job. We typically have ordered pizza to go from three establishments in the Ormond Beach area. Now we only order from two. We ordered three large custom-built pizzas to serve a three member family. The three pizzas totaled over $80! No problem, as for that price we were expecting high quality pizzas, and we typically have enough left over to serve another meal. Meat toppings are $3, but when I got the pizzas home I realized that I had paid $3 for sausage topping that wasn't there. When we bit into them we noticed that all three pizzas were very skimpy on toppings. For that price one would at the very least to expect a healthy topping of cheese, but honestly, you would get more toppings from a frozen pizza at your supermarket. We ordered thin crust, but even with that, the pizza was mostly crust. Bronx House Pizza is misnamed, because this pizza establishment knows nothing about Northeastern pizza. Over priced and under quality. This is a one star establishment. Don't waste your $80. read more

Food is good, to go orders are terrible service. You have to ask if your food is ready every few minutes to avoid being there for 20 minutes in silence assuming they will "let you know" when it's ready is going to cost you your time and sanity. Both Ormond and SR100 locations are like this. Get door dash and save yourself the aggravation. read more

We placed an order last week Friday night for a Margherita pizza, a meat Stromboli, and some garlic rolls, a personal pizza and a few other things. This pizza was a joke right? I paid $22 plus tax for a pizza that had barely any cheese on it and some lonely tomato sauce and burnt basil. It was laughable. The garlic rolls were burnt and tasted gross. Thank goodness I took this photo of it. Unbelievable. Our friends who ordered the personal pizza said it was also terrible. The supposed Margherita pizza went into the garbage. I'm originally from North Jersey, spent a majority of my childhood weekends in Brooklyn and this pizza is EXACTLY like NY pizza. I currently live in Deland, but drive the 35 minutes to Bronx for their food. The parm subs are so good they bring tears to my eyes! End your meal with a delicious cannoli which is filled at the time of order, if you're Italian or know Italian food you know how crucial this can be for an amazing cannoli experience.
