As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the delicious aroma of cookies and freshly baked goods. The gentleman at the register told me that breakfast and lunch are served all day, which was a pleasant surprise! I ordered the protein bowl, an iced matcha latte, and a white chocolate raspberry cookie. Everything was absolutely delicious. The cookie arrived first. It had a chewy texture with bits of raspberry and small morsels of white chocolate throughout. The protein bowl was packed with all the best breakfast staples--eggs, potatoes, bacon, and tons of melted cheese on top. The iced matcha latte was refreshing and flavorful; however, it wasn't sweetened, so keep that in mind if you prefer sweeter drinks. Overall, I had a great experience. Everyone working there was kind and friendly, and the food was both filling and delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Sorry I don't have more pictures of what the family ordered, but I got the half rack of ribs, and it was tender and juicy and you must get an extra side of their barbecue sauce! What stood out? The service was great. The music from the DJ was lively ( if you want a quiet night, maybe sit outside where you're not too near the speakers). The loaded potato skins, mashed potatoes, and fries were also top notch, and I'm not even a potato guy! When the wife said the tortilla shell on her tostada salad was the best she's ever had, I thought she was just exaggerating. She was not! It was so good that I told my mom to try a bite, and she's usually resistant. One bite, and she asked, ooh can I have another piece? My dad, same thing. The fish tacos! Yes! There was a bit of cilantro in the salsa, and I don't like cilantro, but I didn't care. Everything was too good. Please get the fried fish too. The grilled fish, save that for another time and another place. My boy was in the mood for what I thought was a boring order of mac 'n cheese, and again I was proven wrong. He let me have a taste, and again it was top notch mac 'n cheese. Stop lying to yourself and giddy on up to the Rodeo Cafe already!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and I loved that we could order from either the breakfast or lunch menu. The restaurant has a cozy, comfortable and family-friendly feel with plenty of seating. The staff was friendly and professional throughout our visit. They also offer daily specials, cocktail specials and happy hour, with a large menu that gives you plenty to choose from. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying some of the other items on the menu!

Excellent, then one day they switched breads and it tasted gross. Chewy, etc. So I gave it a literal two year break. Today I really wanted a tomato mozzarella sandwich and thought it's been two years, I'll give it a go. I didn't quite trust the ciabatta roll to have improved but noticed they had added Dutch Crunch rolls to their variety of breads so I chose that. Not at all shocked after the sandwiches started going downhill, it tasted completely gross. That wasn't a Dutch Crunch roll. It was soft, mushy bread and tasted like salt and pepper. The best thing about my order were the bagged kettle chips and they're from Lays. I'll never eat here again. Waste of $16. Go to The Dutch Sandwich Shop if you want a REALLY good sandwich.

The vibe here is awesome -- super welcoming, creative, and community-oriented. They have a café area, a retail section with goods from local artists, and even private tables and rooms people can rent out. When we were there, a few groups were playing board games (which are free to play, by the way, and they have a really extensive selection), and we even noticed a kids' class happening in the back. It felt like such a lively and inclusive space where everyone could just hang out and be themselves. We tried their espresso -- it's really good. Highly recommend "The One Up" and the "Lady Lavender" -- both strong, not too sweet, and super smooth. The menu had plenty of great food options too, and everything we tried was solid. We ended up chatting with some folks from a local writing group and just felt totally at home. Overall, it's such a gem for Temecula -- a perfect mix of café, creative hub, and community space. We're definitely planning to become regulars and keep supporting local third-space spots like this!
