The cutest little bakery shop in Oak Park! Was able to find parking right on Chicago Ave. It's very small inside with limited seating and it was busy when I came in around 8am. Once you walk in, you are greeted with their mouthwatering display of pastries, and of course the kind staff. I got one of every cookie and tried both the savory and sweet cornbread biscuits. The cookies were buttery and the size of your head! My fav was the cookies n cream cookie! My thoughts on the biscuits: Sweet biscuit: comes with butter and jam on the inside. The sweetness is subtle. The jam and butter combo was delish. Savory biscuit: came with cheese and I think salt? Simple yet delish.

Basil lemonade & cardamom cinnamon roll

I was expecting more pastry options. Looks like they focus on limited options for their to-go cases. Drinks were fun, and the basil lemonade was very refreshing. I was not a fan of the cardamom roll, but would go back for the olive oil cake.

I could never write enough reviews about broken tart. I've been way too many times and it's always a blessed time. The treats and pastries are great! There's not one item I can recommend as all the options are pretty great. One thing I can say is the food is fresh and the staff's opinions about the food sold are honest. So you tend to have a great idea of what you may be getting yourself into. all in all, please do yourself a favor and stop by.

Ultra cute bakery. No designated parking lot. Metered street parking nearby. Small space, line going outside the door. Savory and sweet baked items. When you enter, you see some baked goods on the left side of the counter and then a cashier takes your order, but do yourself a favor and check out the display to the right of the register. I missed a bunch of cakes that would have garnered my attention. Ordered a chili oil fried onion cheese biscuit. It might have been better had it been warmed up but it was cooled, hardened, soaked in chili oil and over-buttered. The rating is more for the ambience. Loved the color scheme and the fresh flowers. Did try a bite of cookie and they're on the thin, crispy, slightly chewy side with a healthy amount of sugar. I wish I saw the cakes before my order was taken, those might have been spectacular.

Came in for an afternoon pick me up while on a walk to enjoy the sunshine. I was able to snag the last coconut cake with an espresso glaze along with an iced BT latte which was made with coconut syrup and oat-milk. The cake was so light and not overly sweet. It had the texture of a bundt cake and my drink was sweet and refreshing. There was plenty of seating and there were customers who were doing work or catching up with friends.

Clockwise from the top right: Ginger cream cookie, chocolate chip, birthday cookie

Best bakery ever. We love the savories here. The kale salad scone, sweet corn bread biscuit are so unique and creative. Muffins are excellent too. Savories are not too sweet, is what I love about the place. Chocolate chip cookies and ginger cream cookies are also excellent. There is a tiny parking lot about two stores over if you plan to eat in. So happy that this place opened in Oak Park!

Great Bakery in Oak Park! Walking in.. well usually there's a line, it's rather small with a wide selection of Cakes, Cookies, Muffins, Scones, etc. They're actually known for their Kale Scones but I really like the cookies & muffins! They also have this little thing called a "Financier" that's a MUST TRY. Muffins are huge & loaded with blueberries and the cookies are to die for.. try the *Cookies & Cream* you won't regret it! Staff is always very nice and prices are pretty moderate. To me this joint is worth a half hour drive on a Sunday Morning.. you be the judge! Talk Later

Wondered in a few times, the baked goods are outstanding and enjoyed everything we have eaten there. There is often a line to go in to get food to go, summer time also has outside seating, with limited seating inside. It has a bustling cafe vibe and a nice place to meet friends for a chat. They have water available if not getting any beverages on the board. The order process is fast even if busy, but no have not encountered a person working there that does not come across that we they are doing us a favor handing us our food.

Dessert case

This bakery is on a really cute location. The decor is cute and dessert case filled when you get there before the rush. Otherwise you'll be waiting outside the door in a pretty good sized line. I had really high hopes when I came here... The staff were very friendly and everything was clean. The ambiance was nice, very cute decor. The baked goods. So I tried the birthday cake or rainbow chip cookie, it was very good. Came out fresh from the oven. The chocolate chip cookies was fresh and delicious too. You could taste the butter and chocolate in every bite. Definitely will be back for these sometime soon. I should've picked up one of the marbled cheesecakes with salted bourbon glaze, they looked phenomenal. I ordered the cinnamon espressos rolls, I wanted this to be good so badly. There was a citrus taste, I believe lemon that just completely threw off the balance of it. The same with the chocolate chip cake slice, also had a lemon or citrus glaze on it. So I think I'll ask next time so I can avoid these sort of picks. Overall, I would return and maybe ask more questions on what I am selecting. And for sure will return for a coffee and cookie.

Angelina was awesome first time I went dark in like 6 years I was so nervous but she made me feel comfortable and assured me she would not let me look ridiculous, lemme tell u ou she was spot on.

Matcha Latte
Alyssa G.

You have been warned: Visit well before closing or else there will be no pastries. I rolled up an hour before closing in desperate need of some coffee and a bread based bakery item to offset the coffee's acidity on my stomach. Sadly they didn't have anything left but the barista was so helpful and recommended a matcha latte. I got the hot matcha latte extra sweet with oat milk and it was a solid choice. They were super nice and gave me an espresso shot because they had run out of pastries and could sense I really needed a boost of caffeine. The inside was nice and bright but if I had time to stay, I would have enjoyed my drink on their patio area.

Cornbread biscuit with cheddar and onion chili oil
Kevin H.

Charming cafe and bakery! The pastry selections are really on point, their corn bread biscuits are to die for with either salty vs sweet options. The salty version comes with aged cheddar and chili oil which packed a potent umami punch. The sweet option had their seasonal blueberry and butter jam which had the right amount of sweet and salt. The service was fast and they were polite and helpful. The seating inside was clean and airy. Bathrooms in the back were also clean and well stocked. Overall, would definitely come again and try out their other pastry selections!

I am moving into the area soon and looked up bakeries and this place popped up and has great…read morereviews. The curb appeal is adorable and kitschy, right up my alley. I ordered online, never tasted any of the bakery and did not disappoint, I ordered the birthday chocolate cake, moist and delicious with selection of cupcakes which were also very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back with friends. Thank you

Second chances are not always a good idea.. I should have…read morefollowed my gut. So the first time I came in to give them a try I got a cupcake and croissant warm, my wife got a fancy coffee and some egg thing. She was happy with her order other than the iced coffee came hot.. so not really what she ordered after the long wait we didn't want to wait any longer. My order on the other hand was quite a disappointment, to me a fresh croissant should be light flaky and fluffy hot. This one .. this one was more like it was made at a beef shop it was flatted out and soggy.. I think it was over cooked in the electro zapper.. aka the food killer microwave.. just what I wanted to over pay for some microwaved slab of dough..thanks.. Now.. let's get to the second chance before reviews.. Wife ordered an iced coffee, I ordered a few donut holes.. The vanilla glazed was a wreck, dried out, stale, hard.. this should have been tossed out.. Let's try the chocolate.. meh, almost dried as bad but the after taste was meh.. like cooking oil. My wife's coffee showed up hot.. after like 15 minutes wait.. overall this place is meh.. should have stuck with Starbucks or Dunkin even.. Cleanliness was also a question.. enjoy the pictures of the semi busy place with a long wait and dirty floors/tables/chairs.. wonder what the back of the house looks like..
