It took about 12 minutes for the quiche, but I have to admit it was one of the better quiches that I have had. The quiche was filled with sliced ham which is different than most places that would use ham bits. The quiche was extra fluffy, almost omelet-like, with guyere cheese and was absolutely delicious. The crust was definitely homemade from the adjacent storefront and absolutely perfect. The only disappointment was that the quiche did not come with any side, be it a small salad or even one of their cookies. Split Milk is a wonderful neighborhood find. I will definitely come back to try some of their mouthwatering baked desserts.

It was nice to take the ice-cream cone and sit on a bench at the park nearby. The shop/window is attached to Courageous Cafe, but the operating hours are not the same as the cafe's, and one has to wait in line outside rather than indoors. The shop is about five minutes from the Oak Park Green Line CTA station. Highly, highly recommend this place to those visiting Oak Park!
