A good place to have your bow fitted. I went in there to have my very first bow set up for me and to get some arrows. Jared is a competent bow tech, and was quite helpful with all my questions. You can really tell these guys spend a lot of time in this shop, the vibe that it's like their second home is quite eminent. I've read some of the other Yelp reviews and the complaints about them not always noticing when a customer needs attention are indeed true. While I was having my bow worked on in their shop today I noticed two instances a customer standing like a wallflower or a deer in the headlights. I have a simple solution for this: Speak up. It's not hard to say "Whenever you have a minute I'd like some assistance" It's really no different then the experience I get from a Home Depot. I'd much rather be in a store where I have to assert my need acknowledgement then the places where I have three employees fighting like dogs over a bone to be the one to pester me endlessly. "No pressure, take your time" every 15 seconds like that scene in Aggretsuko parodying Gap stores. None of that here.

Really cool shop. Huge selection for Compound Bows and archery accessories. Everything from hats to targets. Not so much for Re curve Bows. They even have an indoor range. Having said all that. The customer service sucks! I walked around the store looking very interested in a purchase. There were two guys talking about a past adventure while i walked around. Come to find out, one was an employee (a lazy one at the least). I walked over and watched people on the range twice before even asked by a second employee if i needed any help. At that point, I had already decided to check out some other places. I guess $180.00 sale was less important than talking while on the clock. I would have been an easy sell but noooo.

    Accessorizing.

You walk into Clackamas Town Center and there it is... shining like a beacon for folks who like their gear fresh, their brands loud, and their hobbies expensive. Shoes? Lord have mercy. They've got enough to outfit a small army of marathon runners, golfers, and folks who just wanna look athletic while ordering takeout. You want Nike? They got it. You want those hard-to-find Crocs in that oddly specific color you saw online at 2 a.m.? Boom right there on the shelf like they've been waiting on you personally. Now here's the thing about ordering online you click, you wait, you pray it fits. Here? You just walk in, try it on, and walk out feelin' like you made a good life decision for once. No three-week shipping, no "sorry, sold out," no heartbreak. Just instant gratification, the way the good Lord and credit cards intended. And don't even get me started on the gear. Golf clubs lined up like they're ready to testify, YETI bottles for every hydration personality type, kayaks, bikes, floaties if it gets you outside or at least makes you look like you go outside, they've got it. This ain't bargain-bin stuff either. This is the high-end, "I probably don't need it but I'm buying it anyway" kind of place. Now here's where it gets funny the Oregon Ducks section. I swear to you, they've got better Ducks gear here than some actual Ducks stores. I'm not saying that's right... I'm just saying it's true. Brought my daughter in here once, got her some fresh Nikes, and she strutted back to her small town like she just signed an endorsement deal. That's the kind of confidence this place sells and it ain't even on clearance. So yeah, if you're anywhere near this mall and you like name brands, sports, or just enjoy walking around a store thinking, "Yeah... I could be that person," then step on into Dick's. It's classy, it's stacked, and it's just about the closest thing to a sports lover's heaven you're gonna find without breaking a sweat.

When the package arrived, I saw the colors were correct but the blades were a size too small. Since the order arrived on Saturday I had to wait until Monday to call the company to find out what went wrong with my order. I talked to a man named Adam (I think the same person who took my original order) who proceeded to give me some kind of run around about their blades being one size off from everybody else who makes spinner components. But after some discussion he told me the proper size blades would get to me the next day,Tuesday, barely in time to make up some spinners for a scheduled fishing trip the following Wednesday. Well, Tuesday came and went and no blades from Oregon Tackle. I didn't even get them by the following Friday. So, I called again that afternoon and talked to Doug Hays who I believe is the owner of the company. Doug gave me an even bigger run around than Adam had. But again, Doug assured me the proper blades would arrive on Saturday. As I write this review on that Saturday, the mail has been delivered and NO blades from Oregon Tackle. These people must have zero business sense. I have been making my own spinners for almost 25 years using components from several different manufacturers and Oregon Tackle has the WORST customer service of any of them. I'm not sure I'd even call what they did to me "customer service". It was more like they thought they could send me anything they wanted and I'd be happy with it. If it weren't for the fact Oregon Tackle is the only spinner component manufacturer who offers the blade colors I was looking for I'd never do business with them again. Stay away from these people unless you want to get insulted, belittled and made to feel like any error is entirely your fault.

The selection here is fantastic, with everything from jackets and hiking shoes to thermal gear and hats, all at factory outlet prices. I've found deals that beat most online discounts, especially during seasonal sales. The staff deserves a shoutout. They're genuinely helpful, not pushy, and always willing to check stock or help you find the right size. You can tell they actually use the products and know what they're talking about. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate -- no digging through messy racks like some outlets. The checkout process is quick, and the team keeps the line moving even when it gets busy. Pro tip: Sign up for the Columbia Rewards program. I've scored some extra savings and early access to sales that make it worth it. Overall, this is one of the best outlet shopping experiences in the Portland area. Whether you're gearing up for a hike or just looking for a solid rain jacket (we are in the PNW), Columbia has you covered -- literally! LMAO

I was specifically hoping to find boots and/or a jacket. On top of having an entire floor full of clearance jackets, they also had about a dozen racks under tents outside of the store. It seemed like they probably had every Columbia jacket that had been made within the past few years. There was also a ton of Mountain Hardware and Sorel. The Mountain Hardware jackets were about 25-50% off, which was still significantly cheaper than REI or anywhere else that I know of. I ended up feeling so overwhelmed by the jacket selection that I decided I needed to do some research, and come back. I ended up leaving with two pairs of snow boots: 1 Columbia, and 1 Sorel. I got both pairs for $55, including tax and a very small roundup for the National Park fund. I've been looking for boots for a couple of weeks, and the cheapest I've found comparable boots anywhere else was anywhere from $69-129. So, I was beyond stoked to find two pairs I liked in the clearance section. They were also having a store wide BOGO half-off sale, which is how the total ended up so low. I didn't have, and have actually never had any of the issues with outlet stores that other people brought up in their reviews. I used to work at the outlets in Folsom. Most of the merchandise isn't damaged or defective-- it's just overstock or barely out of season. The boots that I purchased are honestly of similar quality to brand new boots from DSW. I just got really lucky (and have a seventh sense for when things will be on sale due to all my years of working in retail). Staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience and I would definitely shop here again.

They don't pressure you into sales, and they give you plenty of time to try things on and walk around with them (including on an in-store treadmill).
