During that time, I managed to put 3300 miles on the bike; and on my last ride, I had two spokes break on me. I briefly thought about doing the repair myself, but I've heard truing a wheel can be a tedious process, so I decided to look up Bike Gallery. They had an opening the following Thursday, so I dropped it off one Saturday, and picked it up the next (I live 40 min. away). While it was there, I also had them do a "Deluxe Tune-Up" and replace my chain (which I had purchased, but hadn't installed). The work was completed on Thursday, as expected, and they called to let me know it was ready; and that everything went as expy. I had calculated the total based on rates listed on their website, and was pleasantly surprised to see the total bill was lower than expected. A drivetrain cleaning was part of the tune-up, so the bike looks great; and they have a 30 ride warranty, should any issues pop up with their repair work. I'm very happy with my experience, for sure.

So I was expecting to buy a lot of stuff, but it would be worth it. Turns out I couldn't be more wrong - the folks there are just like...yup we'll tune it up. Call you Wednesday. And they did. and charged me $95. That's it. I asked if anything was replaced, or new cables or anything, and they said everything was fine, just tuned it up! The brakes work great, the gears are smooth, the tires hold air, so hey! I am super happy. And they have a super cute doggo.

I was looking for a resale bike for my daughter, for a school event the following day. The owner let me know he'd just had one come in that would work great. First it needed a full workup and tune-up, something he always does. In an hour or so, the bike was ready. When we arrived at the shop the owner took the time making sure it was altogether the right fit, and helped me out by watching my kiddo do a test ride, so the seat was just right. I don't have a very good idea of these things on my own, so the extra help was much appreciated. The Cannondale we came home with has been a great bike. Just what we needed, it's pretty, and even better it was a very fair and affordable deal. 2025 #18

However they are not that friendly to customers and they're not that helpful like some bike shops are in Portland. And they don't carry bicycle rain pants they tell people to go spend $300 $400 at Dick's sporting goods when most bicycle shops have bicycle ramp pants in the shops. And they do not have a very good selection on bicycle jackets. In my strong opinion this is not a bike shop to go to until they can make changes and do a better job and start carrying more and better merchandise including bicycle rain pants. They can learn from bike shops in Portland including from NW pro gear.

Then, they were out of stock of my size for (what they said) at least 5 weeks. I don't wanna wait, so I asked for a refund. This is where the 'fun' starts.... I asked for a refund, and was told they would talk to billing and get back to me the next day. 3 days later, no call. I rang again, they said it was still being processed, should take 48 hours. Called back 3 days later again. Still no movement. (Or info for that matter.) Now I started getting pissed and was pretty much told that I should wait for my size to come in and they'd push it then. No. Way. Why should these pricks keep my money after I've already returned it? I had confirmation from UPS that they got it, and started the run around. After a few more calls, 9 days, and alot of yelling (and alot of assholes who seem to be happier to tell you to fuck off and keep playing guitar hero rather than help) later, I finally got my money. Except it was only the amount for the frame, not the frame and fork. I blew a fucking gasket and had money back in a few days. Go elsewhere. Please. Trust me, it's so not worth the trouble. They like to advertise 'We at Ride-this are a rider owned company.' Well, it looks like they got the most bottom of the barrel, pretentious bikers to run customer service.

The entire time, the fork has been listed as "in stock." I've tried to email and call the place, but I've gotten no answer. The status of the order on their website is "Processing." Ugh. I just want to finish my bike. The company says an awful lot of empty words about supporting the community, but all they seem to be doing is taking our money and giving us all headaches. Great job!
