Called on one shop who did not answer and then called Auto Care Center. I explained our situation and was told they would look at it and although busy if simple they would fix it. The heater hose was diagnosed, a new part ordered and when cool was fixed. It only took a bit over two hours and the cost was very fair. I was impressed by their courtesy and professionalism and absolutely would recommend them to anyone in need.

We took our vehicle to Turner Automotive to get fixed. We were told they would contact us to let us…read moreknow what was going on with it. They did not. Their communication is horrible. We had to constantly reach out to them to find out the status of the vehicle. When the vehicle was supposedly fixed we were told we could pick it up, but the vehicle was not at Turner Automotive when we arrived. They had taken it to a dealership without telling us and they had not brought it back. We went to the dealership to get the car, it was having the exact same issue as when we dropped it off. We contacted Turner Automotive, they told us to bring it back and it was probably a part that they had replaced so it would be a warranty issue. We took the car back, we were told it was several different issues, they kept changing what they thought it was. They never told us we owed anything. They had the car for quite a while and we were still having to reach out to them for updates. When the vehicle was finally done, we picked it up and were were told we owed additional money. We would not have had Turner Automotive fix it if it was not a warranty issue. The original repair was over $3,000 and it did not need to be done. It did not fix the issue at all. The second repair was over $500. The person that told us we had to pay that said there was a miscommunication and that we had to pay it. The original repair never should have been done since that was not the problem. Turner Automotive misdiagnosed the vehicle and did not make it right on our end. Their communication and customer service is horrible.

I needed to have a new primed tailgate for my Silverado painted and the visits with other companies…read morecould not put a start or finish time. I met with Jeremy at his business, discussed the job cost and his time schedules. He was friendly and extremely professional. He stated about 2 weeks to complete the job and he'd call me when it was completed. He took care to protect the new tailgate, and even explained some dings in the metal that he'd take care of as the job progressed. A very fair price was agreed on and deposits make, receipted, and I left comfortable with his outstanding positive manner. On the time frame he'd stated I got the call to pickup the tailgate. The painting, no runs, errors and totally cover all surfaces. He explained the procedure that he was going to do, and it was accomplish to that discussion. He even went as far as to reassemble the old mechanism of the old gate to the new one. This was far and above the original job request. I will go back to his business when I need his excellent skills in his business.

I opened this Yelp! page for Doug's shop because of the work and service that he has done for us…read moreover the past year. I could not be happier that Doug opened up a repair shop near us. I own a 2001 Hyndai Elantra that is in excellent shape. A good portion of the reason it runs so well is because of Doug. He has done some major engine work on my car, and on my son's Sephia. In fact, my son's Sephia needed a new engine; Doug worked within a network of used parts on the west coast and found us a major steal on the replacement. Better, he took the time to road-test the car, and he gave free adjustments to his work -- he guarantees all of his work. He changed the timing belt on my car, and when he did, he made other adjustments that helped the car idle at a better rpm. My 12 year-old car now is getting 29.2 miles to the gallon because of his adjustments. I like that! The reason that I will keep Doug as my main mechanic is because he is a, well, geek, through and through. I would refer to Doug as a gearhead, but the title would be limiting. I think of him as a geek as the ultimate compliment, because I have never met someone who is so intent on working on a car and fixing it. He also keeps the old pieces that he has replaced, and he explains the damage on them, so he operates with integrity. Frankly, we're lucky to have him as our mechanic. P.S.
