After someone damaged the front end of my car it was worth fixing because the car had low miles at 40,000. Specialty Auto body worked with the insurance of the person who damaged my car and gave them a fair enough price to approved fixing it. I really appreciate that Specialty Auto body cared enough to help me because it took a lot of time and effort to source the parts on their end and wasn't a simple task. They were upfront and honest about the process from the beginning that it would not be a quick turn around and that there would need to be some patience on my end. They followed through, and managed to do it in a reasonable amount of time. Also, the quality of the work is very well done and I'm so glad to see my car restored to its original condition! My Nissan 370z had 6 drill holes, 3 on each side of the rear deck lid as it previously had a spoiler and I was looking to get the holes fixed and I didn't know how to fix it myself so I looked for an alternative solution, I found this shop with 11 five star reviews and called them and the owner Kyle said they were a couple weeks booked out and that they would get back to me when they had an opening. Then taking us to last week I got a call Monday October 30th at 10:30am they had an opening and I dropped it off the next day Tuesday October 31st at 4:30pm. I asked for a quote before they did ANY WORK because I told them I have a budget but did not want to disclose it. He said they wouldn't touch it until the next day (Wednesday November 1st) and will let me know when they have a quote. Come Wednesday he texts me a quote and says it'll be less than $1500, not warning me that they could fail at welding the holes or disclosing at all, I said sure sounds great! Then come Monday November 6th I hadn't heard anything so I messaged Kyle the owner asking how it's coming along and when it of it would be done. He then calls me and tells me that the welding failed because of the way the holes were drilled and that it made the holes in my trunk bigger because of this and it was going to be $1430 and will now be $1700-$2000 and I told him to wait as I thought it through. I ultimately decided I was not going to proceed because we agreed on less than $1500. So yesterday November 7th I picked my car up after paying $800 essentially for them to destroy my car. I took photos of the welds and sent them to multiple people that have welded/have knowledge welding and they all told me that THEY failed at welding the holes and welded too hot and that it was not anything I could have done and wasn't the way the holes were drilled. I then paid $627 for a new trunk from a junkyard as the one they worked on was destroyed.

I had previously had some work done through insurance at another shop and wanted to add fixing the rust spot, but that shop refused the work and said they didn't want to deal with rust. When I first contacted Raley's, they said that they were booked six months out. But then he asked a few more questions and determined that the work I needed done would be a quick job for him to complete. We set a time for an estimate which was in the evening so I did not have to take time off from work. This is a small business and is located at the owner's property between Sumner and Orting. I was happy to give my business to a locally owned small business. The wife and husband operate the business together. Heather was very good at communicating with me and scheduling was flexible. They allowed me to drop my truck off in the evening on a Sunday so again, I did not have to take time off from work. I really appreciate that flexibility. The estimate was very good and he was also able to install a bumper that my husband bought and wasn't able to install. I was extremely happy with the price and the quality of work. The entire process was stress free and I was so happy to get this problem taken care of. I highly recommend Raley's for quality of work, the price, the communication, the flexibility and the fact that supporting their business is supporting a local family business. I will definitely use this shop in the future if I need auto body work done.

Even after discussing with the insurance company, what my wishes were Meridian collision estimator told us that can't be done. And that the insurance company wouldn't do it even after explaining to them my conversation with the insurance company they refuse to follow a simple direction of getting a new estimate, put together and sent over in a timely manner. At which point they told me I should find another collision center, which I will happily do. If you're looking for customer service, this is not the place for you if you're looking for cheap parts and cheap labor this might be your fix.
