Stopped by for lunch - ordered the Johnny Cash Burger with regular fries plus side of ranch and the Reuben Sandwich with garlic fries. The burger looked great but was pretty oily and fries were coated with salt - could barely eat them! Reuben was ok but had too much sauce/sauerkraut compared to the meat ratio and it was on an artisan "hamburger bun" not sliced rye so it got super soggy and just fell apart. Server was friendly but really didn't check on us after taking our order and also forgot our soda till almost the end of our meal. For almost a $70 lunch - I will be going elsewhere!

I can't to Broderick for HH with my family. We were greeted and seating immediately with menus and water. Our server came to our table to do last call. We order buffalo cauliflower, cosmos, and house margaritas, veggie rolls, bao mi taco and grilled fish tacos. On the regular menu we ordered, ducks burger, turkey burger and Johnny Cash burger, Pinot Noir and tequila shots and banana pudding. Our food was delicious and the service was good. Their restaurant isn't very big as I expected, but people were seated in a timely manner. I would come back again. :)

Service was ok. Greeting sub par. Music was really bad and loud. Like if I made this playlist it would literally be, top 50 most annoying songs in the US. We couldn't talk inside cause it was sooo loud, so we moved outside. The table outside, one side felt like I was in a high chair. They put a pad on the cement enclosure of the patio, but it's so high my thighs touch the table. It made me extra tall at the table next to my already Short King. The burger was solid AF. The poutine fries were good, but only came with a drop of gravy. But the gravy I did have taste like KFC gravy. Which was kind of nostalgic. That actually pumped this up to a three. They don't have Mayo. I like Mayo on my burger. The food is not bad, but won't be coming back cause everything else was lacking. AND $100 for two drinks and two burgers. At this price point we expected better.

Came for HH 2:30-5:30. Prices in the menu below. Staff friendly. Ordered the house red wine $6. Merlot-decent pour. The banh mi tacos $8 and trio sliders $13 were pretty good. Average noise. A good place for HH in Walnut Creek.

Mmmm...if you want an excellent burger, this is the place. This is the second time that I've been here when I was in the area and this time I tried the Johnny Cash burger- beef patty (cooked medium to my liking), white cheddar, thick applewood bacon, pickled sweet peppers, and homemade bbq sauce, and fried onion crisps. This type of burger is my go-to and I wasn't disappointed. So good and I didn't even request most bbq sauce because it was flavorful enough and not dry (like others make it). My friend got the grilled fish tacos and enjoyed them. Looked delicious and he was satisfied. We were seated quickly at the bar to watch the playoffs and all the servers were checking on us pretty regularly. We were well taken care of. Excellent place to go all around and we will come back when we're back in the area.

It was the best burger I have tasted in a while! Really appreciate the staff really know about allergies. I asked for gluten free options and they were able to tell me the fryers were shared so it won't be good for Celiac ppl. I got Johnny Cash, substitute with gluten free bun ($1) and vegan cheese ($2). The burger was very tasty. I will definitely be back!

The restaurant its self is so cool inside, it's always a great atmosphere, and the staff is nice, however the reason why I did not give it 5 stars was the service. When I had gone it wasn't busy but we had to flag down our server a few times to get some simples things like silverware and napkins. However the food was so good. The burger itself was so juicy and cooked just perfectly. They also have really good pickles if you care and the sweet potatoes fries were just right! They do also have adult milkshakes (alcohol) I don't have a picture of it but they are so good, definitely a must try!

Come here if you're craving a hearty meal! The patriot burger is a MUST-TRY. Stay with me here: creamy peanut butter, spicy jam on a bacon burger with fried onion curls. The perfect mix of lightly sweet and savory with a crunch! We came here on a busy Sunday with the restaurant packed already, and we got seated right away inside, which I appreciated because it was a full 50 degrees cold out. Both the burgers and the restaurant feel upscale and creative. Leather booth seating and high bar stools are available. The menu has diverse options, so we opted to try the patriot burger with banh mi fries, the bbq Mac and cheese burger with garlic fries, and a creamsicle milkshake. Our waiter was impressively attentive with coming by often to check on us.

An average burger/sandwich place. I ordered the fish sandwich. It was $21, but the fish is very thin! The taste is ok, a lot of fries. And don't call normal fries "naked fries"! Call it what they are, FRIES!! Don't reinvent the wheel! And the fires are very dry. Anyway the sandwich is ok, just too small fish bread ratio. The service is nice, place is lively. Won't visit again though! Plenty of other better places nearby!

My boyfriend talked me into coming here for lunch one day and told me about the banh mi fries. Told me to keep an open mind, it is not banh mi and just wow! It was delicious, definitely not banh mi but it has the flavor! Really surprised! Everything we ordered was delicious. Our waitress was in training and she was the sweetest! Will definitely come back to try more items on the menu and get the banh mi fries again :).

Stopped by Broderick in Walnut Creek and had a great experience. We sat at the bar and were quickly served a Mule Kick (perfect ginger bite) and an Irish coffee that was smooth and well-balanced. For lunch, I had the Old School Burger, was cooked perfectly and paired with their house-made pickles. My partner ordered the Turkey Bacon Burger, and the Applewood smoked bacon was tasty and crunchy. Even though the place was busy, the staff was attentive and clearly working hard, which showed in the quality of the food and drinks. Overall, an exceptional visit, definitely be back!

I've been coming here since 2022, and they still have the best lamb burger I've ever had! I usually stick to the same order, and it's always consistently delicious and flavorful. Service is fast and welcoming every time I walk through the door, which I really appreciate. They also have a bar area where you can sit, eat, grab a drink, and watch the game or just unwind after a long day.

Ask the Community - Broderick

Can we make a reservation!?

No. But usually won't need them, staff is great at turning tables. If you're in a time crunch, you order online for pickup on their website.

Do they still have the chopped cheese?

Yes we do.

I thought the duck burger wasnt served anymore . Is it on the menu all the time now?

Unless something recently changed, it’s always been available

Do you have gluten free bread and/or buns?

Yes

Is there an area to eat and bring your dog?

There is a outside area where you can eat

Can you eat off the regular menu during brunch hours?

Yes, absolutely !

Do you serve only the brunch menu during brunch weekend hours or is the other menu available also?

Brunch menu is available weekends only!

Do they have an option to make a reservation?

Yes, I called in for a reservation.

Do they have bottomless mimosas?

Unfortunately no. They have a good selection of drinks but no bottomless mimosas. My best friend and I love bottomless mimosas for brunch. Otherwise it's a great place to go.

Do they have a kids menu?

Yes they have a kids menu and it's very simplistic. I hope this helps. RR-:)

Do you have any vegan burgers?

Yes

How many TVs?

4 TVs total. 2 at the bar, one in the corner, and a smaller one near the entrance. If you are coming to watch a game, the bar would be the best place to sit because it's hard to watch those TVs if you are sitting anywhere else.

I see that they have gluten free buns. Are all of their fries gluten free also?

Double check with your server, but I think most - but not all - of the fries are gluten free. The Poutine Fries are definitely not gluten free because of the gravy, but most everything else should be safe.

Peanut allergy friendly?

Yes it is

Do they re-fill growlers?

No. Only breweries can fill growlers and they don't brew their own beer. Calicraft is currently the only place to get growlers filled in Walnut Creek.

Blue neon arches, a huge underwater mural, plush chairs and low tables along the back wall. Worth the detour. Chris was working the bar on his second day and greeted us like a regular. I skipped my usual Manhattan and went with the Smoke Break, bourbon with bitters, smoke and black cherry. He nailed it. That is the one I would order again. Kudos to Chris for making the smoke linger and make the drink taste fantastic. I had this one in Oregon and it was cool but Chris did a better job with his method that really did serious justice to the name. My wife wanted the Cucumber Cooler, but they were out of cucumber. She pivoted to Sauvignon Blanc, and they were out of that too. The wine list runs four whites and four reds, so there is not much room to maneuver if the cocktails are not your thing. Chris read the situation, offered up a Paper Airplane since she wanted something refreshing, and put it on the house. Classic good bartending. It was louder than expected for how few people were in the room. On a Saturday with a DJ, music and dancing, I would guess the volume gets close to a rave. Go Tuesday or Wednesday if you want to hear the person across from you, and you will probably catch them fully stocked. My guess is weekends clean them out. Cocktails run 16 to 18 dollars. There is also a 300 dollar tequila and cognac number called La Maria served in a glass rimmed with gold dust, if you have something to celebrate. Happy hour is Tuesday through Friday, 3 to 5. They are on the ground floor of the Waymark apartments at 121 Pringle Ave with a small patio out front and heaters. Great spot to hang out and talk with friends, and a good pre dinner or post dinner stop rather than a destination for the whole night. When those doors shut you are transported somewhere neat. I would go again.

The lot runs on Metropolis Parking, so you'll need to create an account since it's automated and tracks your license plate. Scan the QR code at the register to validate one free hour. Otherwise it's $2.50 an hour plus a $1.50 service fee. We stayed 1 hour and 44 minutes and paid $4 after the complementary hour, so it's not terrible, just a hassle to set up. The ambiance is my favorite part. It's entirely outdoors, but there's plenty of shade. We went on a Sunday with football on, and once the Niners game started they put it on all the TVs and turned the game audio on too. The space is split into three distinct areas: an adults-only deck that's slightly elevated, a family and kids section along the outer fence, and a main middle area open to everyone. It's family and dog friendly, and both times we've visited there have been lots of kids, so keep that in mind if you want a more adult environment. Since it's strictly outdoors, a rainy or cold day could be a tough time to visit, but when the weather is nice it's a great place to grab a beer, a bite, and some sports. Ordering is flexible. You can order at the main counter, or scan the unique QR code at your table, order from your phone, and they'll bring everything right to you. My wife and I each had a different hazy IPA and both were good, and the overall beer selection is nice. On the food side, the burgers are above average but not spectacular. The fries were the better side: crispy and well seasoned with a spice blend. The Oreo and brownie cheesecake was a hit, and my wife and son devoured it. Prices are reasonable for the area, and the food and beer both hold up for what you pay. Overall, it's a fun, laid-back spot for families, dog owners, and sports fans, with a great setup. My husband and I made a point of clearly communicating my severe nut allergy to our server. This critical information was reiterated on two subsequent occasions: first, when I opted for the salad after the tomato soup was unavailable, specifically noting the limited nut-free choices, and again, when my husband ordered the tiramisu cocktail. Given that we frequently share dishes, I inquired if the garnish on his drink contained nuts, prompting our server to verify with the bar and confirm its absence. We ordered the beef and lamb dumpling appetizer. The menu description for this item did not list any nut ingredients. Shortly after we began consuming the dish, my husband noted an unexpected crunchy texture. A query to another staff member, who then consulted our server, led to our server returning to our table and asking about my well-being. At this point, I was already experiencing a tingling sensation in my tongue, a clear indicator of an allergic reaction. When I directly asked if the dish contained nuts, our server confirmed the presence of pine nuts, responding with "I know, I'm sorry," when reminded of my previously stated allergy. This incident is profoundly disturbing. It highlights a critical lapse in the establishment's adherence to food safety protocols, specifically concerning allergen communication and staff training. The failure to accurately disclose all ingredients on your menu, coupled with the apparent disregard for my repeatedly communicated life-threatening allergy, is unacceptable and put my health, and potentially my life, at severe risk. My evening, which was intended to be a celebratory occasion, was instead marked by fear and distress. I expected a thorough investigation into this matter, a detailed explanation of the immediate and long-term steps the establishment planned to implement to rectify these deficiencies including improvements to the menu labeling practices, comprehensive and mandatory allergen awareness training for all staff, and a review of overall safety procedures to ensure such a dangerous oversight does not affect other patrons. Instead I got an email saying they would look into it and get back to me in a week. It's been almost 9 months.
