The litany of pre-made coffee options is enough to earn this place 5 stars. The nutty doodle coffee alone warrants a trip. Most all the other coffee blends or flavors have explanatory names like blueberry or hazelnut. The word "nutty" definitely gives one a hint, but "doodle" suggests that someone is about to be taken on a little ride of surprises. I've had a cup of nutty doodle. The nutty doodle-ness aligned my chakras, opened my 3rd eye, and reunited my being with the universe. So, worth a try, I'd argue. The donuts here are donuts. Straight up pink box sugar discs and choco bars. The staff here wastes no time, takes payment, and rushes the donut to the customer. All the donuts here are donuts. There is no way to even place a bad order here. Keep the show-business coming, Broadway!

Self-serve coffee bar w/ fresh warm & soft donuts yes please.

Cute donut shop with the kindest owners. The donuts/pastries are delicious and great for sharing at work

Cute, clean, great variety, and delicious! Pink box never disappoints. Come here for the best donuts in Long Beach! The little lady behind the counter will take good care of you.

ONLY TAKES CASH AND DOES NOT HAVE AN ATM! I love living in Long Beach because it allows small local businesses to thrive without overcrowding. Donuts are my favorite food, even more than Brussels sprouts. My daily commute to work always passes Broadway Donuts, so I decided to try it. The majority of places only have street parking, so I parked on the street, which is not surprising. Less than 10 minutes are needed for the transition. Though the service wasn't the greatest, it wasn't the worst. I got my donuts, which were exactly what I wanted. It was impressive to say the least, the coffee bar had about 30 types of creamer, if you thought about it the flavors were there. I always try glazed rings and chocolate rings whenever I visit a new donut shop for the first time. The store itself was small and did not have much room, but it had a flow that allowed for an easy entrance and exit, as long as you didn't forget anything. The glazed donut was exceptionally well-balanced - not too sweet, not too cloying - and inviting enough to make you want more, and believe me I did. The chocolate donuts weren't my favorite, but that was more due to the top chocolate, which tasted almost burned. They did however land a classic, the glaze, so this place was worth a try.

Decided to try Broadway Donuts today, so.glad I did. They had a good selection of donuts, and a few choices in croissants in which I tried the Jalapeño, Hamann cheese, it was so good. My donut choice was the cinnamon roll, so soft, fresh and bursting with flavor. They have one of the most extensive coffee selections I've ever seen. Over a dozen in pump canisters, I tried the coconut, it was amazing. The parking is street parking only, the 7-11 across the way doesn't allow you to park in their lot, just a heads up. It is cash only so be prepared. The owners are very nice and very sweet, the welcome your business. I recommend supporting this little mom.and pop donut house, you won't be disappointed

Two turkey croissants, 2 maple bars, 2 sugar twist, cherry Danish.

Me gusto. Not only…read moredoes this local bakery have a heart warming story, but their baked goods are remarkable. This artisanal panadería specializes in your favorite Spanish goodies. You'll find items like loaves, flatbreads, long breads, conchas, cookies, nixtamal queens, pan de maiz, alfajores, etc. They also have a small market filled with imported canned and jarred items. I personally always order the guava pastry every trip. On the weekends, I'd highly recommend ordering in advance online to skip the line. It's also great for pet owners. I enjoy a morning walk to Gusto and their team will hand deliver items to the patio when I have my dog with me. Highly highly recommend adding this spot to your weekend activities.

Just the textures are absolutely craveable (I type as I pick out fallen sesame seeds from my bolillo off of my sweater). Came in early on a midweek morning and the line was starting to form as I was leaving. Everything behind the glass looked good, I had already decided to grab a couple of bolillos to bring home but the Nixtamal Queen spoke to me. She came along too. Nixtamal Queen - What even is this magic. Crispy and carmelized sweet on the outside, super soft and chewy on the inside. Eaten fresh and still warm, this was hands down one of the best pastries I have ever had. Bolillo - Little bits of jalapeno and cheese folded into soft, chewy sourdough layers. It was nice and crunchy on the outside and heavenly on the inside. The toasted cheese and sesame seeds on the top were the perfect bit of texture. I had originally bought these with the intention of making a sandwich but I ended up eating the whole roll standalone. It was that good. If only there were better parking, but maybe that's for the best.

I've been a longtime fan and customer of Colossus and was super bummed when they had to shut down…read moretheir seating. I was so excited to try out their new and improved space for dinner! The decor is cozy and chic, and I like that they kept it spacious instead of cramming a ton of tables and chairs in. I especially loved the little table lamps! Our server was very nice and helpful when we had questions. Caesar salad: I LOVED this. Perfect balance of flavors with perfect crunch. Word of warning is that it is anchovy heavy (including anchovy filets on top), so if you like to pretend the anchovy aspect of Caesar salads doesn't exist, this might not be for you! Roasted chicken: Loved the crunch on this too, and the salad and polenta were nice additions. I think the polenta was my favorite part of this dish lol. Kale pistou pizza (asked for no onions): My least favorite dish. We didn't realize it was vegan but as someone who generally likes vegan food, it just lacked flavor and felt very dry overall. The sourdough crust was good, at least. Peach mess dessert: Omg, the star of the show! Such an amazing dessert top to bottom, I loved the mix of textures and flavors. I could eat this every day! I probably would've given this 4 stars due to the pizza being that bland, but the dessert really elevated this whole meal. Can't wait to see all their different menus throughout the seasons! I hope they add a happy hour soon and I hope to see the return of their patio at some point!

The menu features more breakfast items; however, I miss their Turkey and Brie sandwich that they used to offer here. Nevertheless, their BLT is as good as a BLT can be. With a BLT, to make it outstanding, you have to have outstanding ingredients, and they absolutely achieve that with their house made, butter-toasted country bread, heirloom tomato, butter lettuce, house-made thyme mayo, and a generous helping of bacon. The space is also very roomy and, now that they have table service, it offers a great breakfast experience. I do want to come back for their french omelette cooked over butter. Sounds like they also have pizza for dinner. Cost of lattes cost over $8, but their syrups are made in house. My wife liked her midsommar latte, which had espresso, milk, caramel syrup, and a foam topped with bee pollen. Pastries run from $5 to $8 and I prefer their savory offerings; however, their house-made breads are noteworthy here. Don't hesitate to pick up a sandwich or loaf here.

All of the women that work there are freakin PHENOMENAL! I love them SO SO SO MUCH. I wish I could name them all individually, but just know I mean it when I say every. single. staff. member. is. awesome. I ALWAYS get their beef ball with creamy cilantro sauce. EVERY TIME!! I am obsessed with it. I honestly think it's better than Portos too. Of course their empanadas are good! They bake them now, BUT if you ask they can fry them (it would just take longer). I also really love their chicken square pie. Sometimes I get their "Savory Box" so I can get all 3 of my favorites! Definitely worth it. Their burger is good, a little expensive but I still buy it from time to time for the convenience. Everyone says the cuban sandwich is the BEST (i have yet to try it. I usually stick to what i get as you can see) They have a new Fall Menu right now, I am obsessed with the pork & apple sandwich. The meat could be more tender, but I keep ordering it because I still love it so much. I am going to be devastated when they take it off the menu. They have a whole lot of sweets! Unfortunately I have not tried any, I do not like sweets (weird .. i know) but my coworkers and partner have! The cookies are top tier, their new flan (consistency not like traditional flan) is good, guava cheesecake was amazing, etc. There is not MUCH seating, especially on their busy days but they always play really good music.
