This was an unexpected gem. Some of the best Vietnamese coffee I've had anywhere, and I've had Vietnamese coffee all over the Inland Empire, Los Angeles, and Orange County. What impressed me most is that the coffee is made fresh instead of being pre-batched. You can taste the difference. Do yourself a favor and order the jalapeño ham and cheese croissant. It was loaded with ham and had the perfect amount of spice. If you love old-school mom-and-pop donut shops, good coffee, and friendly service, definitely stop by. As expected, the selection of donuts was limited but was still able to clean out the six remaining long johns in a half dozen box ($8.50 for six, $1.50 each single...they accept credit cards). Manna Donuts gets a 5/5 stars for their natural juices and smoothies and delicious pastries. This little store is the epitome of don't judge a book by its cover. It's a humble little mom and pop donut spot but their smoothies, juices, and pastries all taste freshly made. My brothers tried the coconut smoothie and taro boba smoothie and everything tasted so fresh, even the boba was warm and fresh. I got the carrot orange juice and I loved how natural it tasted. We also ordered a kolache with sausage in it and the bread was also so soft and fresh, definitely good quality. The owner was so kind and friendly she even gave us two free donuts! I can't believe I haven't post a review for them yet. Every month when I come to Long Beach for work, I make sure I stop by here to eat their kolaches. Best I've had. The jalapeno and cheese one is perfection; the bread that it's in is so soft. Their donuts are also some of the best around-- always soft and delicious. I've driven past this place numerous times and on Sunday, after church, I craved a breakfast sandwich (didn't have breakfast), with bacon but places weren't serving breakfast anymore. I was actually craving a breakfast croissant! You know that feeling where you just HAVE to have breakfast before lunch? I really appreciate the employees. Their Vietnamese coffee is very strong and their donuts are great as well. I don't typically order their refrigerated drinks but they have a really nice variety of energy drinks, milk, juice, etc. If you're in a rush to work and need a quick boost this place has great service. They are open early in the morning and close later in the day so I would definitely recommend this shop over others. read more

Just moved to town a couple weeks ago and I've already stopped in here a few times. The prices and quality of food are primo. We tried one of their breakfast bagel sandwiches and 4-5 different kinds of donuts and we've been pleased with every item. My favorite spot for kolaches. I'll occasionally come by with my mom, and she will order one of the blended drinks. KOLACHES are those wonderful Czech pastries usually made with fruit, but I like these sausage ones. It's a savory sausage wrapped and baked in semi-sweet dough. Get them either plain or spicy. The recipe used at this shop for their dough is spot on. Real Czech kolaches use kielbasa, but the meat sausage used here is not kielbasa. Sadly, I don't much to say about their donuts because I'm all about the kolaches. read more

Anyone who knows me knows I'm very particular about my donut holes. Visiting my college friends in Long Beach, we stayed at the Quality Inn which is right next to Manna Donuts! When I saw it last night, I knew I'd wake up and head there in the morning. The storefront is small but they have a wide variety of standard donuts (cake, bars, fritters, donut holes) and they offer boba drinks. I opted to pick up 3 orange juice bottles from the fridge ($1.95 each) and ordered 2 dozen donut holes ($1.25 per dozen). My favorite glazed donut holes are from Ferrell's in Santa Cruz but Manna has equaled them. They are light and fluffy. The perfect fresh bite-sized glazed concoctions at a very affordable price! Normally donut holes in the Bay Area range from $1.50 (Ferrell's) to $2.00 at other places. The lady at the register was extremely friendly. I ordered an iced coffee, the girl took pretty long to make it. Once I received the coffee I knew I wouldn't like it. The cup that the coffee was in are for shakes or smoothies. Also when I sip it I sucked in a chunk of powder. I'm pretty sure she used instant coffee. It was way too sweet. The donut was average. read more

Anyone who knows me knows that I love donuts. Usually once a week I say im craving a donut (bad habit I know). We were going to get boba a few stores over but my donut craving was through the roof and we decided to walk into Manna Donuts. The very first thing I saw was not the donuts but the croissants...omg the croissants, they were huge! I had to have one, and whats even better they made an egg and sausage sandwich out of it. I then got a chocolate bar donut to satisfy this craving. The croissant sandwich was amazing! And of course the donut was great as well. I am currently give one star bc they were not COVID compliant. The man at the register had his mask under his chin. The lady helping in the back had no mask. A customer had his mask under his chin and the worker did not say anything. Their sign for a mask is written on cardboard in small print and placed at the bottom of their front window where no one would notice it.
