Pistachio soft serve (mini size, $4.50)
Eva Y.

This is a local family-owned ice cream parlor that has been opened in Everett since the 1980's. Stopped by here earlier this week and picked up a mini pistachio soft serve ($4.50) after dinner nearby which I enjoyed! Not a lot of places serve pistachio soft serve so i was very happy that they had this on their menu! Looking forward to make a trip back here soon so that I can try out their banana soft serve as well as some of their other ice creams.

I was driving down the street and I noticed the big nostalgic sign and I knew I had to stop. I noticed the parking lot was roped off to allow good spacing and parking which was appreciated. After the lady in front of me was gone as stepped up and was greeted warmly by the owner. He told me about the business and how its a 2nd generation family owned place. He let me sample the freshly made banana soft serve, it was delicious but lactose intolerance would not allow a regular order of it. I decided on an orange creamsicle ice instead. Despite it being dairy free, it was so creamy and delicious! I will definitely check them out on my next visit to Boston.

Broadway Dairy Maid has been an institution on Broadway Everett for years and years. It's basically an old fashion 1970s 1980s ice cream spot. There's usually some high school girls working pumping out cones bowls of ice cream Sundays putting on the dip's and the Jimmy's. They have many flavors available hard and soft serve ice cream. Prices are average and fair. There is ample parking for a tight neighborhood. Try to swing by for a cone. I Give Broadway Dairy Maid a Solid 4 Stars.

Oreo flurry has only oreos in the top and bottom.

The prices don't make sense. 8 dollars for a flurry with barely any oreo, just on top and bottom. Yet this is the same price as a "specialty sundae".

Strawberry hard serve with Reese's

Classic ice cream shop with counter service in Everett. I've been here a couple times as it's one of the few close ice cream bars close by. Most recently we stopped by for some ice cream on a warm Spring day. I chose strawberry hard serve with Reese's. The Dairy Maid has plenty of hard serve options, soft serve with toppings, sundaes, and specialty ice cream blends with toppings and whipped cream. Solid 4 stars!

Orange Crush

Drove thirty minutes out of our way to come try this place and it was totally worth it. The pistachio soft serve was incredible - had a really delicious, intense flavor (almost like marzipan). The orange crush was also out of this world. A huge serving that we ended up finishing because we just couldn't stop.

My childhood comfort ice cream place to go. Dairy maid has such a great assortment of flavors and the level of creativity never ceases to amaze me. I had the strawberry banana twist and it tasted like a yoplait yogurt. It was very good I recommend you try any ice cream, frozen yogurt, or slush you won't be disappointed. The customer service is always quick and friendly. Which is great because they see many people a day! Keep being awesome Dairy Maid!!!

Its Ice Cream I mean how much complaint can there be... I do agree with other reviewers in they Do hire all Teen*ish girls & they sometimes tend to be more involved in their own stuff then being a Customer Service Rep (they forget they are there to SERVE the public & By that mean you should be courteous)... The lines are often several person deep into the parking spaces... They have all the regulars & are decently priced... They do now take Credit Cards...

Over the years I have intentionally detoured down Rt 1, as opposed to the more direct 95, just so I could drive by Dairy Maid. And get a kiddie cup of pistachio soft serve. I've also been known to upgrade to a small here! It is the only place I know that serves pistachio soft serve. That tastes like real pistachio. Not like artificial pistachio flavoring. 5 stars just because I love their pistachio soft serve.

Their ice cream is great! I had a vanilla flavored one for 3 bucks, I think that's a good deal.

An Ice cream stand without chocolate. If you get a sundae the ask you "whip cream and nuts", then they charge you a dollar for the nuts.

FOOD: I got a hot buttered lobster roll and it came with a side of chips. I actually ran into the owner while I was there, and he had explained that their lobster rolls are unique in the sense that they actually toss their lobster meat in a pan with butter. You can really taste it. Buttery lobster heaven. Would definitely come again if I'm back in Boston. I could probably eat ten of those hot buttered lobster rolls in one sitting and have no regrets.

That's the coffee that makes me want to get into coffee and try other amazing ones. The service was pretty quick too- we got a hot coffee and an iced one. Which another thing- only ~$6 for 2 cups of coffee?! Don't see that too often in boston anymore.. This is more of a spice shop and they have a massive selection of spices and coffee beans. I will definitely be back for more coffee, and for some spice shopping! Overall I highly recommend, it's a nice store and their coffee beats out Dunkin by a mile!

I love the fact that the cannolis are made to order leaving you with a crispy shell everybody. They even offer many cannolis for those like myself who don't have a large sweet tooth. The filling people might find on the Tad sweeter side in which I would recommend the pistachio or almond topping if not, go traditional with the chocolate chip. The location is adorable with a variety of pastry options, notably, the moon cookie! The service was great and attentive, and if you get the chance I would recommend sitting and enjoying a nice coffee or tea versus waiting in the line. In comparison to Boa's, it was very close for our party, but the fresh shell put it on top. I will state that Boba's cream filling was more of my style with the less of the sweet kick. Either way you can't go wrong either location, but the additional pastries offered at modern along with the sitdown option was also another touch. Don't be timid by the line it moves rapid and it's well worth it!
