Worse cable company. I advise you not to use them. Poor service and customer service is horrible. I would never use them again.

Broadstripe definitely seems to be slipping. There was a time when it would take 5 minutes to have most issues resolved. Every time you have a new modem you need to call it so they can add it to their network. I never had to deal with this when using Comcast- although they had other issues. Average wait time for anything seems to be about 30 minutes. In fact, as I'm writing this I've been old hold with their horrible music for over 50 minutes! Simply unacceptable. Do they only have one tech answering the phones? What I need will only take 2 minutes, if that. The other downside to using broadstripe is their after hours. If you need help any time on the weekend or after 8 PM, you're out of luck. I had a modem added to my account and waited for them to add it to their list, which takes about 30 minutes to update. Two hours later it still wasn't added. When I called back at 5 30 I reached their "message service" and was told they probably left for the day and didn't tell anyone (including the message service). Worst service ever!! I have been with this company over 10 years and it was the price that made me stay. However, in the last few year my connection to both internet and cable has been crappy(service in and out all the time). When you try to call the company the wait time is horrible and then after holding on for 20 minutes to an 1 hour you get hung up on. This is so frustrating and the people are not customer service friendly. Also the price just keeps going up and the service is getting worse. I will definitely be looking for service else where in the near future. I tried to watch tv last night, out again. I will not call and be hung up on again. read more

Well oddly enough it appears Broadstripe figured out who I was and reached out as to my complaints. And while that does disturb me, I am hoping that this will get the same action because for awhile things were great and I had a consistent connection! But, alas, maybe I should have acknowledged them for fixing the issue as now I am in another loop of constant disconnects and reboots. While I know there are a lot of people using their service (well at least in my community which has only this service as an option) during the stay at home order but I would think a small community wouldn't be that much of an impact on service. read more

I'll start by saying...great price, then I realized that you get what you pay for. I'm in the service industry myself so I realize that there will be issues but it's how you respond to those issues that make or break your service. After numerous chances to resolve the many, and I mean many, issues that I've had with both the cable TV and internet service Arundle Broadstripe has failed miserably. They are the epitome of lip service never once calling back when told they would. Again I'm very patient and give opportunities to correct to a fault but I'm so done with this company it almost forced me to write this review. I'm not looking for discounts or an apology I'm just glad that there's no contract so I can cancel when I want....and I want !!! Mike the tech was great!! He put additional line of cable needed at least 50 feet and he was very focused On providing me with excellent Service!!! That he did and then some he was making sure the line was secure to my tap and that the service was good. So frustrated with this ISP. Have been a loyal customer for years, as like to support local businesses, but their customer service is the WORST. No follow up when they say they are going to, tech support is worthless, I ended up finding solutions myself. Their email platform recently changed back from gmail to their own, and it's a nightmare--nothing works, the settings they provided were wrong. Only positive is when it IS working, channel line up is good. I have been paying for faster cable which I have not been getting, they were supposed to resolve this a year ago and just now are doing it after even more calls. read more

I'm so sick of Broadstripe Cable company! Every time I turn around there is an outage. You try to speak with a supervisor and they say that in order for it to be escalated to a supervisor your service must be out for at least 48 hours and you have to put in a ticket wow. If you have children who go to school online or you manage your businesses online I suggest you go with another company. read more

I use broad stripe because that was the only provider that would run internet to my house. Now I don't have TV through them but my internet seems to work perfectly fine, I play Xbox Live my girlfriend does college work on the computer it seems to work fine all the time. Now I have the highest they offer 300mps, I can say it does not ever reach 300 but it's consistent over 100 and works fine. Every time I've had a problem they have been very responsive and quick to fix it. I believe it's only been 1 issue and they came the same day to fix it. Nice people, definitely seems to work perfectly fine if this is your only option. read more

I'm not one to write negative reviews but this company, or at least the service rep that I spoke with deserves -100. I called because my internet is unable to connect but the signal strength is showing as excellent. After confirming the "MAC" number he told me I was connecting to the wrong network... I've had the same network for over a year and it matches the exact network that is shown on the modem/router. After checking the available networks, the numbers he kept insisting were my network were not even showing up. Almost an hour of him trying to help, which I can give credit that he "tried", he still insisted that I'm trying to connect to the wrong network. I now have to wait for someone to come check my signal because somehow Broadstripe messed something up. It's sad that there aren't many options in the area because this service is not even worth the low price. read more

This internet service absolutely sucks. Be prepared to experience outages on a regular basis. WIDESPREAD outages. If you need Internet service for your job or to run a business, look elsewhere. This company is the worst, your cable and internet will lose service, no outages will be reported even when you report them! No one will call you back when they have reached dispatch to tell you since your service is down how you will not be seen unless its between 2 and 5. When you ask to speak to a manager, they have to email them to try and get you a response!!!!!! No manager is there to help you because they dont care!!!!! The installer, Mike showed up on time, was very friendly, efficient, and made sure I was aware of what had been installed and how to use it. He left me with contact information Incase I had questions later on, he also gave me a quick lesson on how I would use my fire stick once it arrived. I was very happy I "cut the cord!" No after hours help line! no way to email them! my services goeout at least once a day! i call and leave a messsge, at least they have someone to take your call, but you never hear back from them and have to call again. Then your told there is an maintenance outage in the area!! seriously they couldn't send you a email or text alerting you to that fact??? i have been a customer forever, loyal and true, but this was last straw and I will be switching. i dont even care about the cost anymore! what good is a cheaper service when its not reliable. Sorry Broadstrpe, you know what the other companies have that you dont? after hours help and reliable dependable service. you guys suck at both! I switched to broadstripe from Verizon to save money on my cable bill. So far they are a lot cheaper and no contract. Everyone in the office is very friendly and the tech that came to my house was very nice. The only reason I did jot give them 5 stars is because at times you can be on hold for a long time to speak with someone read more

Be aware! Broadstripe is digging on private property without any given information to the owner! We are not Broadstripe customers and when we called (waiting for a long time on the phone) about people digging up our property, they try to tell us it is an Anne Arundel matter. Interesting fact...... Anne Arundel knows what is county and what is private property. And is also informing neighborhoods about maintenance (e. g. recent tree work and cuts), per letter!!! BTW! We were also told that a person which would be responsible for this situation will call us back. Guess what? Nobody ever called back. Definitely lack of communication and not reliable! read more

It is not efficient if you're trying to run your business! I have started a log of instances when outages have occurred, it's pretty extensive and is beyond the norm for any phone/internet company. On hold to speak with someone as I type this....My office phone rings and no one is there. I had to check my business voice mails from my cell, had 4 messages waiting from yesterday because the usual indicator was not letting us know that we had any messages waiting. We have had Broadstripe cable since 2002. It has never been great but now it is terrible. We have had a pixelated picture since May of 2019. We were told the problem was a bad cable and that it would be replaced in June. Our problems continued with no clear explanation of why we had this picture quality problem. We got one BS answer after another. September came along and one of the techs came out AGAIN only to tell us that of course we have a problem! Your original problem was never fixed. It will be fixed quickly, we will put a RUSH on it. Three weeks later still no fix. We did explore and discover that the tech had left all the cables exposed to the elements. I spoke with some numbskull named Pat who has got to be THE biggest liar working for Broadstripe. She basically opens her mouth and lies pour forth. If you ever get her on the phone be prepared for a line of BS because she has a lie for everything. We even had a vip person involved, Maria, who appeared to want to fix the problems we were having but after two phone calls with her and a promise of a follow up to see if things were fixed she dropped off the face of the earth. She is either not in or on vacation depending who you talk to. I've heard it all over the last 8 months. As I sit and write this our cable and internet are out again, this is in addition to the pixelated picture problem, now we have no cable or internet AT ALL!! I see cable techs at my house more than I see my own mother! This last excuse is "we had to file for permits"! I had a tech at my house fixing the previous outage two days ago who said that the work for those permits was already completed. Basically every cable within a two block range of my home has been replaced I've been told by Pat, Andre, Allen, Jerard, Maria, Damon, Steve and Ron!! Yet our cable and internet are out again on New Year's Day. Broadstripe an ANNE Arundel County Cable Co. SUCKS!!! We started looking into FiOS. Broadstripe customer service is ridiculous! They are so unprofessional. No one knows nothing about what's going on within their company. I spoke to three different people about the same issue & got three different response. The only thing the did all say was someone will be calling you regarding this matter. Well I'm still waiting on that phone call. But luckily the technician, who I was told was coming to disconnect my services but informed me when he was here to do underground wiring. Are you serious! He fixed my issues by him calling in to speak with someone because I kept getting the run around. It's sad that Broadstripe treats their customers this way.
