Had dinner here a few weeks ago and I still can't stop thinking about the smoked salmon tostada! The starters were definitely the highlight of the night -the calamari, salmon tostada, and fresh guac were all incredible. We also tried the Thai tuna roll and coconut shrimp rolls, which were delicious. The sushi did have a thicker layer of rice, so we were pretty full afterward, but the flavors were well balanced. I was especially surprised by the addition of macadamia nuts in one of the rolls, but it added such a great crunch and paired perfectly. We also ordered the street corn and yuca frita which were excellent, especially with the delicious green dipping sauce. To finish, we had the tres leches cake, affogato, and torta de chocolate. The flourless chocolate cake literally melts in your mouth. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back soon! read more

Love the decor and atmosphere at Briza. The restaurant has such a cool vibe. Service was good. Our waiter was attentive but never told us his name. Food was very good. I had the chicken tenders platter. A tad pricey but was nice walking down memory lane. The chicken tenders are very similar to Houston's Restaurant recipe. The fries and Cole slaw were delicious. Other items we ordered like grilled chicken salads, shrimp louie salad and burgers were quite good! I like how the burger was cut into four pieces for easy eating. Since we had a large party, we had to use one credit card to pay for the meal. I should have asked about that as some of us did not have cash. Also the 20% added tip was fine but when making the reservation, I wish I would have known to inform all the other people in my party. I will know next time. Hostess was very nice and seated us quickly when we arrived. I made an error on adding the tip. I called when I arrived home and the manager fixed my mistake. That is great customer service!! So I had to try the popular chicken tenders and I would say they are overhyped, but they are a good cut of meat and really big , but the breading left a little to be desired. They could have had more seasoning but they had a really good crunch to it, the fries were standard. The coleslaw that came on the side is really good.. now these chicken tenders are not worth $32 but again I had to try it because of the popularity, the inside is very nice and charming and decorated really cute. I came across this restaurant off the app resy. Parking is along the block there's a parking garage or street parking. The inside had an upscale vibe a ton of staff running around. I started off with the fried oysters. I never seen them offered before but I wasn't much of a fan either. For dinner I had a variety of things the ny steak along red fish and shrimp la diabla. The shrimp was entree was amazing the sauce was so good. The steak was huge portion with great presentation with yucca fries. We visited Briza while in town last week. We started with the spinach and crab dip but learned they were out of crab after the Valentine's Day rush. This was unfortunate as I was hoping to try the crab cakes too. Instead I ordered the Peruvian chicken with the creamed corn which was flavorful. I also ordered the kale salad which was not good at all and I love me a kale salad! Thankfully our waitress was very nice and accommodating. I would come back hopefully I can luck up next time when they have fresh crab. This restaurant will be good for a company dinner, a night with friends or a date night. read more

Complimentary valet was available, but we chose to park in the nearby garage, which offered free two-hour parking and was very convenient. To kick things off, I ordered the house Old Fashioned made with Buffalo Trace, and it was an instant hit--smooth, well-balanced, and a great start to the evening. The atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming, setting the tone for a relaxed yet elevated dining experience. We started with the crab spinach dip, which was easily one of the best spinach dips I've had in a long time. It was packed with generous chunks of crab meat and perfectly seasoned without being overpowering. Our entrées were just as impressive: a crab cake that was clearly made with about 90% crab, a Cajun ruby trout that was perfectly seared, and the prime noodle salad with prime filet, fresh mango, avocado chunks, tomatoes, and greens tossed in a sweet-heat dressing. Even our little one enjoyed her grilled cheese and fries. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, reminiscent of coastal seafood, and our server was very attentive. So let me start by saying the food was very good, which was expected. However there were menu items that we ridiculously priced. I have no problem paying for good food, but the items that really blew my mind where the appetizers and sushi rolls. For those that dont know there are some items on the menu that are dupes from the now closed/been closed Houston's (i.e. Spinach Dip). I am a huge fan of this dip and this did not disappoint. If you want that spinach dip from your past this is it. However for this to cost $23 for the exact same portion as was served at Houstons back in the day was just insulting. We still ordered it but that is just robbery in my opinion. The sushi rolls were tasty, but again for what they were 30-40% more expensive than you could / would pay at any of the better sushi restaurants in town. The entree's were very good and whie still a bit overpriced given the ingredients they were still very good. The service was average at best. Our server really struggled to any questions we posed and he was very slow to respond to our requests. Normally this would not bother me, but with a 20% gratuity added, there should be a better level of service. I am all for paying for good service but this was not even close. read more

I ordered the ribeye medium. It was overcooked and the charred portion tasted burnt. I asked the server before I ordered if they had steak sauce. She said they did usually, but when my steak was brought she confirmed they were out of steak sauce. So, I asked that my food be boxed up so that I could have steak sauce at home with my steak. I ate the steak at home. It was not enjoyable at all. Very overcooked, tuff, and lacked flavor. My husband ordered the burger. He said he should have sent it back because it was very overcooked. He also had a Cesar salad. It wasn't good or bad. Overall it was a nice restaurant, but the food wasn't good, other than the calamari. I don't think we will return. read more

Great service. A bit disappointed with half of my order. The first item I ordered was the Tuna stack which was great! And I would definitely purchase again. On the second hand, I ordered a spicy tuna roll and received a roll with mainly avocado, mayonnaise, and a poor cut of the tuna with a fair amount of tendon/sinew in the cut. They offer complimentary valet which is nice but on this night it was extremely slow and unorganized. I did not deduct them for that. You can enter through the front entrance or through Crosstown. They definitely took their time to create a beautiful place to dine. You can really see the attention to detail. We were greeted and since we had reservations we were seated immediately. Keep in mind they require a credit card to hold your reservation so make sure you show up! The menu is nice. Not too much to make you feel overwhelmed but just enough that you have options. One downside for me is that I don't drink alcohol or carbonated beverages so they only had water or unsweetened tea as my options. Water was fine but I wanted something else. Fortunately they were able to sweeten my tea with simple syrup from the bar. They had two mocktails but both contained grapefruit juice. I ordered the crab and spinach dip. Amazing. Very good. The warm chips, lightly salted was the perfect accompaniment. I ordered the chicken dish. The chicken was roasted perfectly and seasoned well. It came with the Mexican style creamed corn. Would have been great if it was hot. My friends with me ordered the salmon and crab cakes and they both raved about their meals. The servers and staff were extremely attentive, maybe a little too much if that is a thing. It was kind of disruptive to our conversation. We had dinner at Briza Friday (5/15/26). Overall it was a nice experience. Few concerns that could probably be easily rectified. We both had specialty cocktails ($17 a piece). The cosmo was great. The manhattan tasted great but seemed a little warmer than it should have been. Not sure if the glass had just come out of the dishwasher or that it had sat there for a while (seemed like it took a while and drinks didn't come out together). Only other concern was that the entrees came out before we had finished our salads. That should never happen in my mind. Makes the customer feel rushed. Besides that the entrees were very good (redfish Florentine & crab cakes). Met one of the managers (Daniel). Nice guy who did our wine service. Our server (Mai) was very friendly and attentive as well. Space wasn't as noisy as I would have expected given the high ceiling and concrete floors. We will certainly go back again. read more

The food was good my friend said her potatoes came out cold which was a disappointment considering the steak was $64. The dip was great and my salad as good. The service was a huge issue for us we felt rushed through the meal. We were given our check and we weren't finished ordering food which was very disappointing. I wasn't offered another ginger beer or cocktail. I felt the level of service didn't match the vibe of this restaurant. Hunter came to the table next to us but never came over to address with cold potatoes served with the steak. We are accustomed to high standards when dining at high end restaurants. I may revisit if more training of the staff is done but for now we are not sure. read more
