Thank you to Diane M. for the heads up! This plaza is super busy what with a lot of great spots like Sprouts, Tii Cup, Pita Jungle, and other great local businesses. Now there's a lovely cozy store just for pets! While catering more to dogs, they do have a great selection for cats. They also have an in-store dog wash for you canine owners. Their prices are definitely decent. I like it here! I picked up some treats, a new grooming brush, and a new toy for Gracie the Cat. For those who use the cat/dog vision filter from TikTok to purchase gifts for your pets, this place is well-stocked with items that are vibrant and bright for your furry companion. A+++!

On Feb 9th, they had their grand opening. Working with tight square footage, they wisely laid out their store. Serving cats, dogs and rabbits there are a variety of products for sale. Brain and anxiety herbal remedies , groombar, toys, nutritional foods, broths, vitamins, training items and even a self wash dog station are all available. The friendly pet dietitian and nutrition specialists is what separates them from big box retailers. Earthwise can focus on tailoring dietary foods for your cat or dog. Boxie Cat, Premium Fussy cat, Nulo, Planet Dog and Outward Hound are just a few brands offered here. I'm going to try a few different brands to see if "Maxine" appreciates them!

I was soo soo grateful! I'm sure he wanted to go home but he did not rush me at all and my little pup was happy to have his food :) THATS amazing customer service ! I'm excited to see Brooke as the manager now! Such a pleasant personality and always so helpful! You picked a good one! And let's not forget Kat! Very kind and always inviting ! Just met Zachary as well and a shining smile to add to the team! Thank you all for being you !

You're welcome. Again, DO NOT Recommend wasting your time going to this location they will charge you extra plus their point system for money back also sucks. It's just not worth your time nor money. You guys need to lower your prices. I will recommend Barks & Luv every time to any and everybody. Please not I do not have to recite anymore for this location anymore but I am working on trying to find it.

Earlier today, I called to ask if they had male veiled chameleons in stock. The employee put me on hold for a couple of minutes, came back, and confirmed they had "a couple" available. A few hours later, my boyfriend and I drove out to the store specifically for that reason. When we arrived, the same employee was immediately unfriendly and gave us attitude the entire interaction. We asked again about the male veiled chameleons, and she again told us they had them in stock and directed us to the back. My aunt also asked about jumping spiders, and the employee responded with the same rude attitude while showing them to us. After checking the reptiles, we spoke with another employee who was actually very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained that they DID NOT currently have any male veiled chameleons available and wouldn't be getting more until next week. He gave us detailed information and was polite the entire time. The issue wasn't just the misinformation, it was also the employee's behavior throughout the visit. She repeatedly stared at my family in an uncomfortable and rude way while we were speaking with other staff members, and every interaction with her felt dismissive and hostile. What's especially frustrating is that this is the same employee who previously sold me a snake and provided me with incorrect husbandry information at the time of purchase. Before visiting the store, I had already done research on the snake I was getting, and later realized that much of the advice I was given was the opposite of what the snake actually needed. Thankfully the snake itself has done well, but inaccurate care information can seriously affect the health of reptiles if customers don't know any better. I understand everyone has bad days, but this is now my second negative experience with the same employee. It's disappointing because behavior like this reflects poorly on the business and does not create a welcoming or professional environment for customers, especially compared to the much more helpful service provided by the other employees I've interacted with.

I purchased premixed saltwater for my reef tank from Artistic Aquariums in Chandler yesterday at…read moreapproximately 3:45 p.m. This morning, while preparing to perform maintenance before leaving town tomorrow, I tested the premixed water with my calibrated digital refractometer. The salinity measured only 1.021, which is below safe level for a reef tank. Because I needed to use the water before my trip, I called the store around noon to ask what salinity they mix their water to and whether I could receive a refund or replacement if I was accidentally sold the wrong solution. I went to the store so I could demonstrate that I had not used the water and to work toward a reasonable solution before discarding it. The employee working that day was new, working alone, and genuinely did everything she could to help me. She was kind, patient, and professional throughout the entire interaction. Unfortunately, she had very limited authority and had to repeatedly contact the owner for direction. My disappointment is not with her, it is with the ownership and leadership. While there, we tested the water together. Their refractometer read approximately 1.024, while my calibrated tester consistently read 1.021-1.022. I recalibrated my tester in front of her and received the same results. I wasn't demanding confrontational or disrespectful. I tried to compromise. I requested either a refund or, at the very least, a store credit since the product was less than 24 hours old and unusable for my aquarium. The owner declined both requests. Instead, I was offered only two options as a "one-time courtesy": * Dump the water and refill the container with more of the same water that day. * Return within one week for a replacement. Neither option was workable because I was leaving town the following day. I even asked if the one-week timeframe could be extended since I would be away, but the answer was no. I also asked to speak directly with the owner. I was told he was too busy and would call me later. What makes this even more frustrating is that the store has a posted 14-day return policy, to which should apply to this product per the small print, and this purchase wasn't even 24 hours old. The one-week limitation I was given did not appear to align with the store's posted policy or with what I believe is reasonable customer service. To verify my equipment wasn't the issue, I stopped by Kona Reef and tested their premixed saltwater with my calibrated tester. Their water measured 1.025, confirming that my tester was reading accurately. This isn't really about an $8 purchase. It's about accountability, consistency, and standing behind the products you sell. I made every reasonable effort to find a fair compromise, but I left without a workable solution. If you value customer service and ownership that stands behind their products, I would encourage you to consider this experience before choosing to do business here.

In my experience, the owner did not handle concerns in a respectful or constructive way. I also had issues with the stated 14-day return policy -- it was not honored in my case, which added to the frustration and made the situation feel unfair. Overall, the experience was stressful rather than positive. Based on what I went through, I would not recommend this business and would advise others to be very clear about expectations before committing to anything.

I was excited to find a self-serve dog wash in our neighborhood, fairly close by and at a…read morereasonable price. First couple of visits went fine. Everyone was super friendly, but I noticed that a couple things that were really lacking: adequate towels and a clock inside the washing room. I've mentioned both before during check out. When you're selling dog washes, apparently lots of people want them. This was probably my 5th wash and every time someone gets in line behind me. For someone like me with ADHD no way to measure time passing in a shared space and with soapy hands making me keep my phone in my pocket? No clock is a distinct disadvantage (feel free to interpret that as ABLEIST because you're introducing hurdles that only impact ND folx). Hearing there's someone in line behind you and you've got 15 minutes -- is stressful especially when there's no clock and the towels are barely thicker than a paper towel. It makes the task is exponentially harder to finish quickly. I had to walk to the front when I realized that while she time checked me, the lady working but didn't bother asking if I needed anything and that no more towels were coming. Bit strange having to beg for more towels when she literally commented "gosh, is that a fluffy dog!" as we signed in. Yeah my dog has a double coat which you have acknowledged seeing so I don't know why you're trying to cheap out on the towels? It was actually a safety hazard. There was water everywhere because I could not get enough of his water out of his coat in order to walk him safely from the washing room to the front counter even after the second batch of towels. I mentioned it was unsafe and I wish I'd have gotten more towels when I asked for them, and also that it was difficult to keep moving within their timeframe/to be respectful to the other guest when there's no clock available. The lady working could not have cared any less. She didn't acknowledge my concern just dismissed. "Oh if there wasn't someone waiting behind you, I wouldn't have hurried you." Well no kidding and I wouldn't need a clock if I wasn't trying to be courteous. I could have taken my own time and been in there long enough to get my dog adequately dry. Instead I had my dog dripping water and soaking into my car seats when I left the dog wash. If that's a dog wash is a service that you're prepared to offer, please do it so that people can have a successful experience. Today blew really hard but actually it's the same challenges I've faced before when using their service and today decided I'm not their ideal customer with my expectations. Pet Planet should think about some ways to ensure people want to come back or at least feel they gotten enough of what they paid for to move on with their day. If I knew I'd only get the wash half done I wouldn't have started. A wet husky/malamute is a recipe for a stinky dog and or skin problems from being wet too long. I'm hoping we don't end up with an unexpected vet visit after this.
