Last night, the 3rd week of a 6 week class, we were informed that the trainer was leaving for his new job that he told his manager 3 weeks ago as well as the class. The trainer told the class but no manager phone call. Well, everyone in the class demanded a refund since we didn't get our class. I feel bad for my puppy. He enjoyed the classes and loved making us smile and he loves to hear us say good boy. If you want to know, yes, I do plan on emailing Petco's upper management and let them know what went on an why they are losing a customer.

Since that time three years ago, we have been coming here with our other pug pets that we have adopted- not only for food, but for their veterinarian needs as well. The second time was in seeing the hospitals doctor whom "come to find out" was actually the owner! It was a professional & pleasant experience for our senior pug Mo. We've been back now numerous times for checkups and vaccine's visits with our newest addition Marvel and we have had nothing but knowledgeable, kind and helpful staff. Every visit has been very positive for our fury babies and they have been treated so well by all the employees. Note-They do have a long wait list so make sure you call way in advance to get an appointment. If it's an emergency for their hospital they do not have the ability to get your pet seen right away unless you "luck out" and there's a cancellation, but the odds of that happening are very slim. There is not an immediate "emergency" services hospital available here. Store-There's a nice shop adjacent to the hospital that offers many different types of pet products for every type of pet, Including treats, toys and healthcare merchandise to explore. They have a grooming salon, pet boarding and pet adoption program offered here too! Recommend- Highly suggest getting on their monthly newsletter which is sent via email. They send out detailed information to inform customers of their happenings. They also provide deals on their products & promotions so sign up for with their rewards program. This will be helpful if you are constantly seeming to purchase pet food (dry) like we do! If so, this just might bring you a free bag after you hit a certain quality! Once I entered into the grooming salon I asked to get y pups nails filed down. The lady had the nastiest attitude and asked me to step outside while she checked in her customers as if I was not a customer. This was the most unprofessional experience as if they did not want my business. I will add that I am black given I just noted they were hosting a Turning Point event back in April wish I had seen that prior because that explains everything. It's a sad time to see the inhumanity on full display. It's unfortunate that I am forced to give a 1 star.

The dogs consistently come back looking clean, fresh, and well cared for. What really stands out is how patient and gentle the groomers are--especially with our high-anxiety dog. They take their time and make sure the dogs are comfortable, which gives us so much peace of mind. It's clear they truly care about the animals they work with. It's hard to find a groomer you can fully trust, but this is definitely one of them. Highly recommend!

I rang the front bell multiple times while my husband waited in the car. Around 1:50, after I had already been waiting for nearly 30 minutes, he came inside and called out toward the back before we finally left. No one came out to help us. What bothered us even more was the response afterward. We were told the bell "did not go off" and that someone had been up front until after 1:40. That does not match my experience at all. I was physically in the lobby the entire time, and I have timestamped texts showing that I had already been waiting and ringing the bell well before then. Had someone simply acknowledged that something went wrong, apologized, and taken ownership of the situation, this probably would have ended there. Instead, the response felt dismissive and more focused on disputing what happened than addressing the fact that a customer and her dog were left waiting unattended for over 30 minutes. We also sent feedback directly to the owner and never received a response. I really did not want to write this review, especially after previously recommending them so highly. Unfortunately, the way this was handled completely changed how we feel about returning.

This is my honest review. The first groomer we had was not very polite, though she did a nice job…read moregrooming. She didn't last more than a few groomings before she was not working there anymore. The groomers have always done a very nice job and since that first groomer, they have all been very considerate. My daughter took our dog to the groomer the time before this when my husband and I were out of the country, and I was informed today she took him thirteen minutes late. This morning I brought him in for his next grooming and received a text when I was three minutes late letting me know my future appointments could be affected by being late to his appointment. I thought it a little strange that it came so soon after our scheduled arrival. I was driving and only a minute away from arriving, so I continued driving. Upon arrival at 8:05, five minutes late to the appointment, I quickly walked my dog to the gravel in front of the business to let him do his business. Hems an old dog and tends to pee when he gets nervous. I dropped him off and was back on my way home within a few minutes. When I arrived home, I mentioned the text to my husband who also thought it a bit hasty that they texted after only a few minutes of being late. I received a text that he was ready for pick-up and was out the door within about ten minutes for the ten minute drive to pick him up. After tipping them, the owner informed me that we were ten minutes late today and that my daughter was thirteen minutes late last June when she dropped him off. I simply refuted that we were that late today, while acknowledging that we were a few minutes late. He got irritated and informed me that we should not come back since I have no respect of his time. I restated that if I were in deed ten minutes late, I would understand, but I was not more than five minutes late. He suggested we could review the surveillance footage to prove it and I said I'd be happy to do that. He replied that he was not really willing to do that. He then said he'd see me around. Confused, I replied that it seems like he wouldn't since he had just informed me I should not return. He rudely said he was just being polite. I went on my way wondering why he would feel a need to be disingenuously polite. He was clearly agitated, and though I remained calm I was frustrated with the entire exchange. I paid generously for the services provided. Over $100 for a 15 lb dog is not a small amount! This place is not concerned with how they approach paying customers. Good thing there are a lot of other groomers in the area. I'm happy not to return again with the kind of experience I had here. I understand it's not good to be late. I remember getting after my daughter when I knew she was late to take him, but there should be at least a few minutes of allowance for people. Most of us have busy schedules like they do, and while, not ideal, are a few minutes late occasionally. If you are always on time feel free to disregard this review, but having some experience in sales and being customer service oriented, as I am, the owner's overreaction was an unjustifiable experience for me. I expect he'll respond in some nasty way to his own defense, but I want to put this out to potential customers, so they can avoid experiencing what I did there. Be on time to the second, or look elsewhere. That might not present a problem for some of you, but most people have occasional delays. In truth, the owner should thank me for posting, so only those who can be perfectly on time to each and every visit should enlist their services. Win-win!

We had a very frustrating and disappointing experience here. Prior to our appointment, I called for…read morea quote and was told it would be around $95 per dog. We were also specifically told to bring inspiration photos, which we did. At drop-off, the groomers told us that one of our dogs had some matting and may need to be cut shorter than the photo, but that the other wasn't bad and they would try to match the inspiration photo as closely as possible. We understood and were completely fine with that. When my husband picked them up, he was asked to pay and tip before even seeing the dogs. When they were finally brought out, we were shocked. Both dogs had been shaved extremely short, essentially down to the skin, with large, puffy heads left essentially untouched. They looked absolutely nothing like the photos we had shown. I called afterward because I wanted to understand both what happened with their haircuts and why we were charged more than the quote we had been given. I was then told that one of the dogs was in the "higher weight category" and both dogs were fully matted and that the additional charge was at the groomer's discretion. If their matting was truly significantly worse than what we were told at drop-off, we absolutely should have received a phone call during the appointment explaining the situation and asking for approval before completely shaving them. We were never given that opportunity. I understand that matting can require a shorter cut for a dog's comfort and safety, and I would never expect a groomer to do something unsafe just to achieve a certain look. My issue is the complete lack of communication. We went from being told that one dog may need to be a little shorter to picking up two completely shaved dogs with disproportionate, puffy heads. The manager did agree to let us bring them back to have their heads evened out, which I appreciate, but there was no offer of even a partial refund despite the unexpected upcharge, lack of communication, and results being completely different from what was discussed. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning
