XL Deluxe Pizza

This was my first time eating here. Upon calling in my pickup order the man on the phone was great and pretty thorough with my order making sure I got everything I needed. When I opened up the boxes I was shocked at how great the food looked, I should have known! My BF has been coming here for years and spoke very highly of the establishment and their food. The pizza was crispy on the bottom and toppings a plenty! My favorite part? THEY USE REAL MUSHROOMS! That is hard to find nowadays, thank you Brionis!

If this wasn't premade and then frozen I'd be shocked!!! I asked for Marco's and my husband wanted to try this place. Definitely not worth the calories!

Great Pie and always great friendly service. This is our go to in Harrison township. Have tried all the other local pizzarias. By far the best. Yep. Stil

Brionis pizza takes all that you love about pizza and perfected it. They are a family owned and operated business serving the community for over 15 years. Back in Encinitas we have a pizzeria called Napizza they make one of the most amazing crusts known to man it is light fluffy yet crispy on the bottom and tender on the top Brioni's Pizza is the closest thing I have ever found to Napizza's crust & dough. Now add a sweet and tangy sauce, Italian spicy pepperoni and real grade A mozzarella cheese you now have an almost perfect pie. In my opinion Brioni's has one of the best pizzas in the Detroit area the crust and crunchy bottom is worth the visit on its own. I like to say West coast pizza meets Detroit style pizza for a perfect combination. They also have a wide selection of different crazy breads on their menu and don't forget you can always add anchovies to kick the pizza up to the top level. If you are even near Harrison Township make your way over to Brioni's and enjoy one of their Perfect Pies. Don't forget to check their hours because they have a unique set of hours that they are open you won't be sorry you did.

The pizza is very good. I am a fussy eater and not too many places are old fashion when making pie. The prices are reasonable.

I stopped in yesterday to grab pizza before the Lions game. I usually stick to my go-to spot, but I…read morewanted to try this place because it's family-owned and everything looked great. I ordered a large Hawaiian pizza, a large cheeseburger pizza, and a small round build-your-own pizza. I was genuinely impressed by how good the pizza was. The square pizza was excellent in every way, and the crust was especially well done. My grandfather enjoyed it as well he particularly loved the cheeseburger pizza. The Thousand Island sauce really sets it apart and offers a nice change of pace from traditional pizza. I was disappointed to find out I missed the Full Rack collaboration with the Alabama white sauce and brisket, but maybe it will come back one day. I'll definitely be returning this place is the real deal.

The BBQ brisket pizza is easily my favorite, but it's unfortunately not a regular menu item. In 2022, Johnny Z's collaborated with Bad Brad's BBQ for the brisket pizza. In 2024 and 2025, Johnny Z's brought it back, collaborating with Full Rack Barbecue instead. I've also tried the cheese bread and the boneless wings. I've had the cheese bread twice now, and it's about what you'd expect it to be. I will say, the first time I had it was better than the second. I recommend getting the garlic butter dip. As for the wings, they were just okay, but I'd be willing to give them another try. All things considered, Johnny Z's is a solid, local pizza place, and is better than your typical pizza chain.

The cheese bread is a nice compliment to your pizza of choice. What makes the bread more enjoyable though are the housemade ranches. The options are classic or "raging." The raging ranch definitely has a kick, but it's tolerable. As for the pizza, I have 2 favorites, the chicken coop and mama's meatball pizza. The meatball pizza's generous amount of meatballs and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top make it reminiscent of a homemade pasta dinner. BBQ chicken pizzas typically feature shredded chicken. What I like about the chicken coop, is that it features bite-sized pieces of fried chicken instead. Regardless of which pizza you order, I recommend the "all corner" option. Any time I can support an independently owned business, like Square One, over a franchise, I will. The food I've had has been exceptional, and is also competitively priced.

Lasagna 4stars It had been many years since I had dined here. It is kind of in a corner of my area we just don't get to for some reason. One night we couldn't decide where we wanted to dine and we all said hey let's go to Luigi's. Our first visit was amazing when it came to the fettuccine Alfredo with cauliflower noodles. The Alfredo sauce was absolutely delicious and tasty. The bread basket was amazing with little homemade bread rolls. The spaghetti with meat sauce and meatball was just disappointing and uneventful . More and more we are finding many of the Italian restaurants we go to have spaghetti and meat sauce that is just not what it used to be. It didn't have any garlic flavor, was very heavy tomato based VERY acidic and the meatball was again just OK. Lasagna was delicious. I asked to add Alfredo sauce on top ,one of my favorite things to do when it comes to lasagna. We returned for a birthday dinner probably just four or five weeks later. Basically we all ordered the same items except for the lasagna. I went for the pizza which was very very very good. The Alfredo with gluten-free noodles were not very good this time. There was so much parsley in it. All you could taste was a dry green flavor, it did not have a great Parmesan flavor, and there was no garlic that we could taste. The chicken was OK. The spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs I can only explain as being subpar. This time it did taste like tomato paste diluted with tomato sauce, and it was actually the same thickness and flavor of the minestrone soup with very Little meat . The meatball again was just OK. We could pour the liquid sauce off of the plate. Noodles appeared to be drained, it just seemed like the sauce was extremely thin with minimal meat and just minimal flavor. Really not sure if we would return. Inside is a little dated, however well maintained and clean. Our first time dining here we had great service. This second visit, again our server was subpar. When they serve pizza, they put a piece on your plate and serve that to you and then bring the whole pizza to the table. The waitress asked if we wanted Romano cheese on on the food and I said sure. She failed to put Romano cheese on the piece of pizza she herself served to me on a plate. I did not say anything ,and it could have been Me but the two people at the table felt the same way I did, our server just didn't seem invested in our dining experience. We did let our server know about our disappointment with the spaghetti and Alfredo dish. A manager never came to speak with us, they never offered to take anything off of the bill considering my son didn't even eat his spaghetti with meat sauce(where was the meat actually there was not much that could be located). And , the waitress could see how much parsley was in the fettuccine Alfredo. She did ask if they could remake our meals, but we are not very comfortable with sending our meals back to be remade. Removing the spaghetti with meat sauce would've truly been an appropriate move. We did not expect that two whole meals would be removed from the bill being my partner was so hungry he went ahead and ate his birthday dinner ,fettuccine Alfredo.
