It is very an Oregon shop with books on nature, Bigfoot, and cooking. There is a large selection of beautiful cards for all events. I will note for any with problems with string smells, they did have a very strong defuser going, so there was a strong scent in the whole shop. The only staff I saw was the ladies at the register, which makes sense since the walking area is enough for 1 or 2 people at a time and the shop was very full. Some of the items are priced very reasonable, and others are a bit higher than I would expect. So just make sure to check the prices to avoid a shock at the register. This cute shop is so worth the walk through and you may find the perfect gift for someone who has everything.

I had a hard time stopping myself from buying everything in sight . The shop features a curated collection of mountain rustic gifts--from Pendleton blankets and custom corn hole sets, to hand-carved clocks and Americana décor. It is warm and welcoming and everything is displayed beautifully. Every time I thought I was done looking, something else would catch my eye .The store tends to feel a little cramped up because of this as it was a challenge moving around without knocking something off or hitting another customer .

The friendly lady I was chatting with was telling me that yes, they get people stopping in from *EVERYWHERE.*. They have it all. Blu-rays, and DVDs for sale, and of course, they have them for rent. The rental prices are very reasonable. New releases suspense, Comedy, drama, you name it, they probably have it. They even have sections dedicated toward certain stars, when I was there, they had a "John Candy section." The blockbuster.com webpage is back online, and I was asking the lady if she knew if Blockbuster was going to be making a comeback. She said she didn't know, but she made a good point. They should. Now, if you want to see a movie, there's no guarantee that the streaming service you subscribe to will have that movie. How many streaming services would you have to subscribe to? It would be so easy just to pop in and rent your movie again. You know what they say, everything old is new again. And of course, they have hoodies, sweatshirts, and T-shirts, including one that has the classic phrase, "be kind, rewind." What a fun store.

There was movie memorabilia and cool blockbuster paraphernalia scattered throughout the store and on the walls. I bought a sticker from the merch section in the front of the store.

Things worth considering... ... "kitchy witchy" seasonal decor. ...interesting accent furniture like little side tables and benches and accessories like mirrors. ...gift box and baskets and bags along with wrapping paper and ribbons. . .....artisan food products; like a fav brand of good pasta sauce, hard to find spice blends like Ras Al-Hanout, good quality preserved lemons...the list goes on. ..chocolates and more chocolates; including an assortment of chocolate covered marzipan from Germany during the Christmas holidays. ...kitchen and entertaining items; like souffle and custard cups in various sizes and colors as well as martini and other German made stemware in interesting formats that can be used to serve libations or desserts, cutting boards, napkins, colanders and on and on. ...decent selection of wine, mostly domestic and some imported, in price ranges from inexpensive to moderately high. And always at this store, ultra helpful and friendly sales staff. Top notch customer service! Some of the best of any retailer in the area. Not to mention, well laid out aisle ways that make shopping access easy for everyone. Located in the Cascade Village Shopping Center, there is alsoample parking in the large lot. Sounds like I like it so why not a big fan of these huge import store formats? Because I think about whether the workers in some of the countries of origin are being fairly compensated and working in decent conditions (China, Laos, Nigeria as example). Also I am concerned that the "it's so inexpensive you can throw it away after one season" fuels consumer behavior that overhwelms landfills and uses up natural resources at an alarming rate. So I typically limit my purchases here to those things that my conscience lets me buy - the domestic food products, the more durable goods with countries of origin that make me more comfortable about working condtions. Everything is connected to everything else - andt that's what holds me back from four stars.
