Bobby C.

(5/5) I recently visited brighter optical in San Gabriel Valley, right next to the Hilton Hotel, and I couldn't be more satisfied. The staff were kind, professional, and genuinely attentive. From the moment I walked in, they made the whole experience feel smooth and comfortable. The eye exam was thorough, and the optometrist took the time to explain everything clearly. I never felt rushed, and they answered all my questions with patience. They have a great selection of frames -- stylish, practical, and something for every budget. I really appreciated how honest they were with recommendations, and there was zero pressure to upsell. My glasses were ready on time, fit perfectly, and the quality of the lenses is excellent. I also stopped by later for a minor adjustment, and they handled it right away with a smile.

The service was impeccable. Faye is so sweet and helpful. They have a beautiful display of stylish eyeglasses. I would recommend coming here based on selection and customer service alone. What better than to be greeted with an authentic smile?

They don't have a lot of good brands in there, Rayban and Tomis the only professional optical brand they carry. I bought a pair of Korean glasses which I later found out was waaaay over priced. They told me it's a famous Korean BRAND and charged me $198. But, later I couldn't find any information about the so called brand... When I asked them about this, they told me it's a famous Korean FACTORY... Well, I'm not someone who cares so much for a named brand, but I do understand, a brand name and design add a lot of money on the price tag. And with something that came straight out of a factory, $198 is definitely waaaay over priced. It is more expensive then well known brands like warby Parker, Mikita or Moscot. Plus, when I confronted them, all they gave me was excuses... read more

I had bad experience from this dishonest optical company, will not come back again. I have VSP and looking for an in-network optical company, so I can use my in-network benefit for a pair of glasses. When I am on the phone and this guy told me they are in-network. So I stopped by the store to pick the frame and lenses that I want. The total amount I paid out of my pocket for a pair of glasses was over $500. Then the guy told me "out of network benefit was better than in-network benefit because I will get more reimbursement and I believed in him. Few weeks later, I received a $70 check from VSP, the amount is way less than a frame covered by (in-network). VSP benefits for within network. Frame coverage (copay is $0) $ 140 +$20 (for brand frame)=$160 (20% off any amount over your allowance) read more

I first visited this optical shop last year to get glasses for my two children. The owner was incredibly welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain which lenses would be the best for kids, considering both durability and eye protection. What impressed me the most was how reasonable the prices were--I ended up saving a significant amount of money while still getting high-quality glasses for my children. Today, I returned because my daughter accidentally broke her frames. Once again, the owner was just as friendly and helpful as before. He quickly found a replacement frame that fit her lenses perfectly and took care of everything with great attention to detail. His kindness and professionalism made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I'll definitely be coming back soon to get a new pair of glasses for my son. This shop truly offers outstanding service, great products, and fair prices. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for eyewear--you won't be disappointed! read more

Absolutely thrilled with my experience at Brighter Optical! I brought in my own DITA frame, and after visiting several optical shops, I kept hearing either "we don't work with customer frames" or "we don't carry Zeiss lenses." Thankfully, I found this place. They specialize in Zeiss lenses and were incredibly knowledgeable throughout the entire process. They even offered the latest Zeiss DuraVision Gold UV coating, which many places either didn't have or weren't familiar with. The staff took the time to explain the lens options and made sure everything was done properly with my frame. The finished glasses turned out perfect--great fit, excellent lens quality, and outstanding attention to detail. If you're looking for a shop that truly knows Zeiss products and can handle high-end frames like DITA, I highly recommend Brighter Optical. I'll definitely be coming back for my next pair! read more

I like to make sure I can get the most out of my purchase for everything I buy so I usually have a lot of questions. Especially when it comes to glasses that I wear everyday. Tom is very patient with all my questions. He helped me pick out the perfect pair with discounted price. I was also told that I'm welcomed to come back if the glasses need any adjustment or repair. Will definitely recommend to my friends and colleagues. read more

Had an amazing experience here! My glasses had loose screws, and the big Chinese guy with tattoos helped me out right away. He was super cool, genuinely helpful, and hooked me up for free. You don't find kind, honest service like this much anymore. I'm incredibly grateful. Highly recommend this place! read more

My old lens was worn out so I've been planning on replacing them. Went to a couple of chain stores nearby but this store have the best price and service. They shipped the glasses to me as well! Saved me a trip. 旧眼镜戴了太久需要换，比较了附近几家连锁店但是价格都小贵，他们家是自己个人运营所以服务特别亲切价格也合适。最后选了个大圆框，直接给寄到家里，满意！ read more

I came in on 3-15-25 to have my wife's lens replaced. I'm not an expert on optometry or lenses but the Gentleman who attended to me certainly is, to my surprise he replaced them by hand in seconds. Couldn't have asked for better service. A must try if you're in the area. read more

Not going to lie, it's definitely an investment and can be expensive, but I think it's worth that I don't need to wear glasses.
