Amazing, even thou the store open at 11 but she decided to open half an hour early for us, greet us with a smile and talking to us about our career. At the end it was a quick fix, even thou we wanting to pay for the service she decided not to take and offer no charge for the service. She was kindness and a really nice person, recommend this place. read more

Sharon is amazing!! I was needing some new glasses and Sharon made everything quick and simple. I texted her and asked if she could help me check my insurance coverage and she responded quickly with all the information I needed. I came in the day of and she explained to me my insurance coverage and took her time to pick out frames with me. She was very informative and friendly as well. Thank you so much Sharon! read more

I love this place! They have great service and eyes exam as well. Honestly, highly recommended place for repairs (changing battery) or new glasses. - Reasonable price - Great Location - lot of packing space (Weekend don't go around 12:00pm to 2:00pm, hardly find spot) - Next to the grocery store (easy to find) read more

I absolutely hate this place. The staff is awful, rude and incompetent as hell. I brought in my glasses today because the arm broke off out of nowhere. I still have my warranty so I brought it in for them to help me out seeing that I'm blind as a bat without my glasses (still blind as of now). I went in talked to this girl who is new. She seemed lost but I don't blame her because she was really nice and tried her best even though she's new. HOWEVER, this old lady comes up blabbing away saying she can't do anything about it. I told her I still have the warranty on it and she kept repeating herself like a broken record. Finally I rexplained the situation s-l-o-w-l-y telling her it's only been a few months since I got these glasses and she said "I can ship it back to the company, it'll be 2 weeks". OMG she could've told me that 20 minutes ago saved us all time. Then she picks up her cell phone and chats away. RUDE!!! I felt like I was talking to someone with amnesia or something. I totally hate this place and will never purchase from them again. read more

I always come to this area to shop for my groceries and notice that a watch store was around. I found my watch sitting around the table collecting dust so I decided to make good use of it. Turned out that the second hand came off so that had to be repaired. Luckily this watch repair and eyeglass store was around. I went inside and a nice young lady greeted me. I showed her my watch and she brought it to an older woman (probably the watch repairer) to look at. The place was semi busy so I waited just for a bit. Turned out that my watch needed some time to fix so the older woman told thru an interpreter that my watch would be ready by 5 PM and the service cost $15, $5 for the battery and $10 for the actual repair. I was satisfied with the job done with the watch. I'd go back if I had more watches lying around the house that had to be fixed. :) read more

This is the most professional optical store I've ever been. I got all my glasses and contact lens here. Everyone here is very kind. They explained everything to me, even though I know they don't have to do it. I've tried many optical store. Kingdom optical makes me feel safe because they are very responsible for very details. read more

They are super nice. I had my watch fixed once for $10 I believe. Another time I came with loose glasses so they fixed it for my free of charge. The doctor and staff are all really nice and honest people. I love the service here. read more

The screw in my eyeglass fell out and I found this shop near our area through Yelp. I was warmly greeted by two young ladies as I entered. The lady handling repairs looked at my eyeglass, said "no problem" and asked if I can return in 15 minutes. When I came back the eyepiece was ready and cleaned, and when I asked for the cost I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they do not charge for this service. It made my day and I told them I was very grateful. Definitely, from hereon, I will go to Kingdom Optical for my eyeglass and watch requirements, and will let my family and friends know. read more

I give them NO star cause their service is terrible. If you r poor they look down on you give you attitude and over charge a pair of glasses for 45 when I can get the same exact one in San Gabriel in foci plaza for 10 dollar!!!! Also serves is shit!!!!! When they instal the glasses to my frame the lady told me to sigh a form and say if they break it. It's not their fault and the chance to break it is 60%!!!!!! Don't go t this shop AT ALL!!!!!! read more

I went there for prescription sunglasses. My insurance didn't cover the whole cost of it. However, I really like the service over there. The ladies there were so friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend the place for glasses. read more

I don't know why so many previous reviews given low stars on this optometry. I am sorry to hear all the negative reviews. It's a differnt case for me, I got a good service at this place. The staff here is friendly and willing to help. Everytime I step into the store, the greeted me right away. They even delivered my eye glasses to next door ( to the place where I work). I paid $48 for changing the lens. Not too bad. read more

Same as the other reviewer beware. I went in to get glasses made out of pocket since I don't have insurance. I know I was overcharged when they broke down the price but decided to do it anyways since this place was recommended to me. My glasses came in over a week late and turns out they did not consult me properly and warned me of how it would come out. I paid for the ultra thin lens so that is not as noticable and they didn't tell me the lens would stick out FROM THE FRONT. I've never had a pair where the lens stick out from the front. And no one botther to let me know when I was ordering it that it would stick out. NEVER go here. I've been asking around and the other shops are telling me they should have at least informed me. HORRIBLE! Paid $400 for a pair of glasses that is not name brand and with the lens sticking out. read more

My favorite go to watch and glasses place for both prescription or sunglasses! They workers here are very nice! However, this is predominantly a Mandarin/Taiwanese speaking store, so if you only speak english it might be hard to get your points across. The owner - Sharon; she is very straight forward and will give you a discount right away if theres room for that. She won't jerk you till the end like okay fine ill give u a discount that type of ordeal. I guess from the previous yelper reviews of this place; they might be talking about her thinking she's slightly rude, only because she's honest and straightforward. If you ask how do these glasses look on me, she's not going to just agree with you if it doesn't look good. I rather get an honest opinion than to look like a fool...well that's me. I don't know about the rest of the people in this world. I always get my watch resized or get a new battery replaced here! Been coming for 4+ years already! read more

Beware of these people. I had a BRAND NEW movado watch get adjusted there since I was in the SG area, this old lady worked on my new watch. Took over 30 hour to get it done totally scratched it up, basically did not know how to adjust my watch. Incompetent workers please avoid going through these guys. Professionals my Ass!!!!!! I am thinking of suing them seriously new watch got scratched up ! Rude workers since I don't speak their mandarin. read more

As a "lazy Yelp reviewer," I found myself only compelled to write reviews on extreme experiences either "straight from hell" or "extreme deliciousness." This is a review for the "Straight from Hell and Horrendous Shopping Experience at Kingdom Optical & Watch" This is a review regarding the Manager/Owner (???) or as the other previous reviewers referred to as 'the old lady' and the prescription lenses (the lab this optical store is contracted with" I purchased a pair of prescription sunglasses more than a month ago and they told me my glasses would be ready a week after the purchased date. Eagerly, I drove 87+ miles (one-way) to the store to pick up my sunglasses and what did I discovered, the color coating was incorrect (purplish red instead of gray) and the lenses were not fitting the frame properly. They agreed to resend the lenses to "the lab" to correct the color. Another week went by and another 87+ miles of driving, and I was informed to come and pick up my "supposedly fixed" glasses; and once again the same exact pair of glasses with "purplish/red" lenses. To my frustration, I found myself having to dealt with back-and-forth "friendly" disagreements with the "MANAGER/OWNER / OLDER LADY" about what is "gray" and what is "purplish red?" The manger and I had to walked out of the store and into the sun to compared the shade of "gray" with our existing "gray coating" glasses. She then agreed to resend the lenses back to "the lab" to make the color correction. Strangely, for a person in the business position as a MANAGER and yet she IS VERY ARGUMENTATIVE AND RUDE, and doesn't know how to say "sorry" when she is wrong.... uhm.....??? I then requested that she would send my glasses to my home because I cannot drive back and forth on the following weekend to pick it up. I reminded her several times again and again before leaving the store that she needs to inspect the glasses before sending it to me because I would hate to have to make the long trip back for more fixing/return. Two more weeks gone by and I finally went to the post office to pick up the glasses and to my surprise...... this time the LENSES DO NOT FIT THE FRAME properly. I called and talked with the front-counter young lady who initially sold me the glasses 5 weeks ago and voiced my complaints on the quality of the lenses. Sadly (and I do feel bad for the girl who works there) the MANAGER/OWNER(???) DIDN'T EVEN bother to deal with me directly on the phone nor listened to my complaints, instead I had to talk and reasoned with the sale girl and she then related my message to the MANAGER/OWNER. ???? what the heck ?.... right ? why couldn't the MANAGER/OWNER just dealt with me directly? THE MANAGER told the girl to related her message to me that as long as the lenses don't fall out of the frame, then it's okay. ??? WHAT ? but the lenses do not fit the lenses properly and that's okay because it doesn't fall off the lenses? To me, when I use my fingers and lightly push the lenses and it makes "squishy noises" like "click clack click clack" then that's NOT PROPER FITTING LENSES. Wouldn't you agree? I've been wearing prescription glasses for more than 20 years and I purchased so many pairs of glasses and NEVER had I encountered such IGNORANT comments as that. I refused to take her offer for me to re-send my glasses to her and she will re-send them to "the lab" for further fixings. At this point I'm just so frustrated of the MEDIOCRE SERVICES and the RIGHTEOUS RUDENESS from the MANAGER that I just want my refund and not dealing with HER anymore. I demanded my refund, and she agreed to a refund of the frames but told me that she cannot refund the $ I spent on the lenses. Sadly, I now owned a USELESS pair of lenses, but what's worst is the "traumatized shopping experiences" from this whole ordeal. I hope for the consumers out there who do read Yelp reviews, will think twice before heading to this store to purchase prescription glasses. BEWARE of the LOW-QUALITY LENSES. ----- through this entire ordeal, the only thing that I feel sorry for is the sale girl, whom was forced to be in the middle of all this drama, and I hope she'll read this and knows that I think she's very professional and nice, UNLIKE HER MANAGER/OWNER(???). I hope the manger/owner treats you with more respect and paid you well because I sure din't get that kind of service/treatment !!! if only ...one can imagines.... read more

so i was skeptical about coming here too.. seeing as the last three reviews were all 1 star.. but those were years ago and i had no choice because the watch in question was bought here two years ago. but i do remember when i bought the watch two years ago that the young cashier was a tard and couldnt add if her life counted on it. but anyways i came in for two watch repairs.. one winded up not needing repair and the other needed a new battery. they were professional about it.. they took my grandmas 20+ year old watch and pointed out any existing scratches and dents (like taking ur car in for service at a dealer).. told me the cost of the service and when finished handed it back to me like it was precious jewerly.. of course its not mine so i just threw it in my pocket with rattling objects. :p credit/debit accepted.. with a minimum $25 purchase.. new battery n install was $6.. had to go to the supermarket next door for cash back. didnt need to buy anything to get cash back just a $2 service charge.. better than what BOA wouldve charged me. in and out of watch shop real quick. lady knew that my other watch that didnt need repair was solar n probably just needed to sit in the sun for three days.. and quoted me $40 for a new solar-battery for that one if needed. read more
