I came here cause I needed lenses for my new glasses frame from Japan. Gave him my prescription and the frames and was told I needed a week to get them due to not having my prescription on site (it's high lol). It was $60 each lens which is fair for my prescription and they take Zelle. A week later I get a call to pick my glasses up and they have me try it on before I leave. Both visits I get greeted with Mandarin by default but they speak English too. Super quick, simple, and friendly each time I came I visited. Don't buy from this shop regardless how cheap their lenses are because they can't fix anything when things go wrong. I never had any shops that made lenses that cause so much discomfort. So I bought one pair of prescriptioned sunglasses and one pair of prescriptioned eyeglasses from Optical King. They were cheap. Both causes problems. The lenses on the sunglasses were wobbly, and the shop's excuse was that the frame is made of plastic, so it will expand and shrink, so the lenses need to be made smaller to prevent the frames from breaking. I have prescriptioned glasses with plastic frames, none of them has such wobbly lenses and none of them broke. The lenses give me headache when wearing for a long period of time. The prescriptioned eyeglasses gave me most problems. After a week of wearing them, the glasses causes persistent bad headache and dizziness. They are very uncomfortable. They cause dizziness and trouble focusing when I turn my head to the left or right try to look at things. It's impossible for me focus. Since the shop doesn't do eye exam, so my prescription was gotten from another optomertrist. I thought the prescription was off and so causing the dizziness. So I went back to the optomerist, and he put the same prescriptioned lenses on me, and they were very comfortable, clear, and not dizzy. So the problems are caused by the lenses. So I went back to the shop twice to ask them to fix the problems or remake the lenses. Since the precription on the lenses matched my prescription, the shop refused to remake the lenses. The owner said my eyes are very sensives. Yes, they are. And anyone who wears glasses would know that if the prescription is a little bit off or lenses are a little bit could cause eye discomfort. He could only remake them if the prescription on the lenses are wrong. He tried to adjust the angle of my frame, bending it here and there. After trying the glasses 3 more weeks, they still give me headache and dizziness. The lenses cause dizziness and made my eyes squint in order to focus. My eyes and my prescription have astigmatism, and the lenses doesn't seem to help at all. My eyes are very tired after wearing it. The moment I remove them, my eyes feel so much relief! I don't know what's causing the headache or dizziness. It could be the shop's bad craftmanship or bad lenses. These are my old frames, and I had been wearing them for years and have no problems. I had been wearing glasses or so many years, and I never had lenses that causes so much discomfort. I think this shop is very unprofessional. I highly don't recommend it. Going to back to the shop several times wasted so much of my time. Each round trip drive was at least 60 minutes, and nothing was fixed. I also regret paying with Zelle when asked. If they ask you to pay with Zelle, don't do it! Zelle has no purchase protection. Always use your credit card, so if the lenses were uncomfortable or unfit, and the shop can't fix or refuse to fix it, you can get your money back from your credit card company. read more

Optical King for the win! I've had the same (only) pair of glasses for at least 7-8 years. Faded, stained, scratched, broken multiple times and taped, crazy glued etc. I lost my glasses to the ocean Sunday night. This week working on location 1.5 hours away where I leave before sunrise and drive home after dark. So I couldn't afford to wait the normal 1-2 weeks for the chains like LC's, Target, Walmart etc. Came across O.K. here on yelp but saw they don't do exams on site. Called literally 13 different places and 3:30pm was THE earliest I could get an appointment same day. By the time I raced across town with my prescription, it was 4:19p. All the frames I saw were $30-$50. Even for most "expensive" frames I chose, + reflective coating ($20 extra), $70 new for prescription glasses is amazing! He stayed open 20 minutes after normal closing time to finish for me! Not only that, but when I tried to offer him $80 he refused to take the extra 10. He said the $50 frames + $20 for coating was good enough and just handed me a couple business cards to share. So review was the least I do. I'll be back and I'll DEFINITELY recommend him to my friends and family. read more

Don't waste your time with them. Ordered a pair of glasses, called them 2 weeks later and they said they are still waiting for the lenses. Called them again 1 month later and they said the frame you choose is too big for the lenses, you have to pick another frame. Does that even make sense? I canceled my order and hopefully they will refund like they promised. Update: Another week after I canceled the order, I got an email said your order is shipped. I called them to find out what is going on. They said they made me 2 pairs of glasses; one with smaller frame and one with the frame I originally picked. I can keep them both for the same price I paid or I can return them for free if I still don't like them. Free return label is included. Well, the larger frame looks awful and I would never wear it but the smaller one looks fine. I think I will give them 4 starts instead of 1 for making the effort. read more

My initial enthusiasm and excitement with my progressive lens and frames that I mail-ordered from FinestGlasses.com resulted in disappointment 7 months later when a lens fell out of the frame because it cracked. I was sitting at my computer typing. My assessment is the frame had a defect and it was very cheaply made. Email to their customer service regarding this issue resulted in no response after 5 days. I believe that their satisfaction guarantee is just lip service. Since my lense fell on carpet and was not damaged, I reordered the frames that the lenses fit. However, I am paying for more than just the frame, I must pay an optician fee [I can not get an explanation from them why if it is a frame only] and shipping again for a defective product that lasted 7 months. If you are only ordering black frames you are okay. If you pick any color frame be prepared for it to come looking like it is black. We bought 8 pairs and the only ones that were correct were a gold metal pair and 2 black pairs.... Even through emails the employee writing my wife and I sent one of our pictures back claiming it was a black pair we ordered when it was actually supposed to be dime (leopard color).
