STARS OF THE SHOW: 1. Burger Box -- The patties were…read moreperfectly cooked, the bun was fluffy and soft, and if you love tomatoes, I would absolutely recommend adding their fresh tomatoes to your burger! There was just the right ratio of their homemade sauce, which complemented the smokey cheddar very well. 2. Over Dressed Greens -- I truly did not expect this to be one of my favorites of the night! The salad is generously mixed with their homemade white French sauce, and you could really taste the freshness of the vegetables and produce. They pickle their zucchinis, which was such a pleasant surprise because it added a crunchy texture alongside the croutons and the pickled flavor truly elevated the entire salad! 3. Jammy Eggs -- Egg yolks were cooked to perfect consistency and I loved their take on an Asian-fusion style dish with their furikake seasoning, which also gave slight crunchy texture alongside their creamy sauce that gave a hint of spiciness. 4. Szalay's Sweet Corn -- The mix of the cacio e pepe and miso aioli worked really well as the sauce for the sweet corn and gave it a creamy and savory flavor with every bite! All the cocktails we tried were very special and delicious! Their ingredients list includes unique combinations that pleasantly work for the drink. My favorite drink was "Never Too Much" and I don't even like Hennessy like that haha -- it was such a refreshing drink and the peach and lemon flavors truly was perfect for the fall season. As for service, our waitress Tate was incredibly friendly and efficient and gave us complimentary dessert due to a slight water spill during the meal. I can now fully understand the hype of this restaurant and when I come visit again, I will absolutely be back -- no questions asked!

My wife and I recently went to Cordelia for a special occasion and had a great experience. We had…read moreexcellent service from when we were seated on-time for our reservation to when we got the check. Everything came out in a timely and well-paced manner and our server went above and beyond in providing outstanding midwestern niceness and hospitality, explaining dishes to us, engaging in conversation, answering our questions, and working with the kitchen to make some minor accommodations to the dishes. The prices were also reasonable for the portion sizes. The ambiance is an interesting, funky mix of open piping with an open kitchen concept and artwork with a nod to Cleveland. My wife and I split several dishes and were fine to outstanding; however, I am giving Cordelia four stars because several dishes were way too salty, affecting what otherwise would have been amazing dishes. My wife and I shared the following dishes: Party snacks: One of the two star dishes of the night. The bread was crispy and served as a great vehicle for the dips. The carrot muhammara, farmer's cheese, and jammy eggs were particularly good and the three snacks I would get if I were only ordering three snacks. Blooming Eggplant: The other star dish of the night, besides being unique with Michelin-caliber presentation, the fry was perfect, the sauce was good, the coating was crispy, and the eggplant well-cooked. The lemon brought everything together and provided some welcome acid. A little on the salty side but very good. Cavatelli: The cavatelli were perfectly al dente; unfortunately, the sauce was overwhelming salty and took away from the pasta. Tomatoes a la chaoshou: The tomatoes were in-season and extremely fresh. The sauce was good, if slightly salty. Ohio Green Beans: The green beans were perfectly cooked with some firmness, nicely seared, and presented well. The zhug was quite salty and detracted from the green beans, although the crunch of the pistachio was excellent. Kate's Fish: The lake walleye was fresh and the accompanying sauces were good and provided nice flavor to give body to the fish (although a bit salty). The skin needed to be crispier; overall, an OK dish but nothing distinctive. My wife and I got the dirt 'n worms and the corn ice cream with caramel sauce for dessert. The caramel sauce was good; the corn ice cream was bland and the mousse was average. I would recommend Cordelia for your next special occasion.

The facility is far bigger than I thought it would be. They have a central restaurant with multiple party centers on either side. It's a really BIG facility. New, modern, and quite attractive. With plenty of convenient parking. The wall of the restaurant that faces Cleveland Hopkins Airport is all glass. It affords you quite an impressive view of the airport and the planes landing. The staff we met was pleasant and efficient. Our server, Mina, did an excellent job all night. If there was a weak point, it would be the food. It was not bad (I'm trying to be kind); it was just uninspired, limited, and not really well prepared. Because they do not offer bread for the table our only option was to order the "Soft Pretzel". It arrived badly overcooked, crunchy not soft, and even boardering on burnt. The charcuterie board was OK, but uninspired. I ordered the "Lemon Chicken" which was a full half chicken in a reasonably good sauce. But the meat was dry and it came only with brussel sprouts (yuk!). My wife had the "Walleye" which she simply said was "okay"... oh well. Our guests weren't any more impressed than we were. I will say our coffee and "Pot de Creme" were very good... thank goodness. All in all, our overall experience was "meh"... just "meh". Sorry - really probably should be 3.5

Celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary called for something simple, yet memorable--and The…read moreAviator delivered exactly that. We dropped in for Happy Hour, looking for cocktails and a few bites, and were immediately struck by the well-appointed space. The runway views at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport added an unexpected layer of entertainment--watching planes take off and land while toasting 14 years of marital bliss felt like the perfect backdrop. We started strong with a French 75 and an Old Fashioned--both expertly crafted, but that Old Fashioned? Smooth, balanced, and memorable enough to set the tone for the entire evening. Wednesday happens to be Wing Day ($2 whole wings), and we took full advantage. We sampled Buffalo, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, Lemon Pepper Dry Rub, and the undeniable star of the show: Garlic Parmesan. Each had its own personality, but that Garlic Parmesan was simply elite. Service was impeccable--Emily was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our experience flowed as effortlessly as the cocktails. Speaking of which, round two brought a Cosmo alongside a repeat of that Old Fashioned...because when you find the right note, you stay in that key. For food, we shared the French Dip Baguette--shaved prime rib, provolone, horseradish aioli, and au jus done right--and paired it with the Mega Crunch Fries, elevated with sea salt, rosemary, and a light truffle oil drizzle. Simple menu items, executed with intention. We closed the evening the same way we began--together, with one final round of Old Fashioneds. A Happy Hour well spent. A celebration well honored. A 14-year journey still taking off.

Outstanding choice for dining in Cleveland. If you are looking for a quintessential Cleveland…read moreexperience, this is it. The Rowley Inn is located in a nice neighborhood (Tremont) across the street from the Christmas Story house. I had three meals there. The first, loaded pierogis, was the ultimate comfort dish. Pierogis with potato centers were covered in diced kielbasa, bacon (yes, bacon), and covered in cheddar cheese. Ahhhhh. The others at my table raved about the kielbasa and pierogi dish. They also liked the beer selection. How do you know you have a great find? You think about the meal long after it is consumed. Next meal- breakfast. I had the kielbasa and pierogi omelet. Need I say more? Finally, we came back a third time and I ordered the burger. No burger place (save Chuckbox in Tempe, AZ) can match the Rowley burger. The burger is actually seasoned and cooked to order. I had it medium rare. Sheer perfection. Typing this review makes me sad because I live far away from Cleveland. Nothing better than a relaxed Friday night with good friends and a delicious meal!…read more Arrived at 7:30 pm for our reservation and were quickly led to our table. For a split second, we thought about eating outside but opted for inside. The charming inside room was bustling with energy and happy guests. We were then greeted by the delightful Gabriella who was our culinary guide for the night. She's terrific. She suggested 6-10 small plates for the four of us and we picked 8. The perfect amount for our tastes and appetite. The dishes were out of this world. Warm Popovers to die for, garlic shrimp, beet extravaganza, pork bellies, pecan infused meatballs, green beans, chicken, and one more. Brought in a perfectly paced sequence which allowed a leisurely meal and conversation. We paired dinner with sparkling water and a glass of pinot noir. After two hours, we left with smiles on our faces and gastrointestinal delight in our souls. Although we skipped dessert and coffee service, when four mini chocolate chip cookies showed up as a nightcap, they were quickly and gratefully consumed! Terrific on all accounts. Highly recommend.

While still served with tart cherries, the crispy breading was perfect. I think I was oversold on the whole "health food" situation happening here…read more As someone who doesn't eat animals, I genuinely like healthy food, and I'm exactly the kind of person who should be excited about a restaurant making thoughtful ingredients and dietary options part of its identity. Instead, the whole thing felt a little less "we care about what we feed people" and a little more "we would like you to know that we food better than you." There is a weird food elitism to the branding that would be much easier to swallow if the actual food backed it up. Unfortunately, for the price, mine absolutely did not. The menu talks a very big game about clean ingredients, non-GMO everything, special oils, organic this and carefully sourced that, but at some point the food still has to taste good. Healthy food does not need to be boring food, and expensive food definitely should not be boring food. I left feeling like I had paid a premium for the philosophy of my meal rather than the meal itself. To be fair, our server was incredibly sweet. She was warm and lovely and was easily the best part of the experience, so none of this is a criticism of the service. I was also genuinely surprised to see balloons being used as gifts for kids. Maybe that sounds nitpicky, but when a restaurant markets itself so heavily around wellness, conscious choices, vegan options and doing food "better," disposable balloons feel bizarrely off-brand. You cannot sell me environmental-adjacent food virtue and then using gimmicks like a 6 year olds birthday at Applebee's. That was kind of the theme of TownHall for me: a lot of messaging about being thoughtful, elevated and health-conscious, without enough substance behind it to justify either the attitude or the bill. Cleveland has too many restaurants making genuinely interesting vegetarian and vegan food for me to pay this much just to be lectured by a menu. Sweet server. Great location. Lots of dietary options on paper. But for the price? The food needed to be a whole lot better than "at least it's non-GMO."
