Shooters on the Flats. **Day 2 of being open** -- packed, beautiful, and buzzing with energy. We got seated in the lounge and I won't lie, things started a little rough. Got forgotten about. A few things went wrong. And yes, I was upset. But here's the thing -- **when you admit you're wrong, I love you even more.** Every single person came through with a real apology, held their smile, and you just couldn't stay mad. That energy is rare and it means everything. SHOUTOUT TO CHEF RAY Chef came out personally, explained everything with professionalism and grace. He took real care of us. That man is the real deal -- and so is every member of that staff. Every time food hit the table, it came with a genuine smile. I felt like family. And then there's NIA. She was busy -- like really busy -- but never missed a beat. Just opened and she was explaining every drink, every menu item like she'd been there for years. Attentive. Warm. My best friend and I were looking to eat something light for lunch. This place had amazing reviews. I highly recommend you get there super early before they open or make reservations because they get super busy. Shooters in downtown Cleveland is a fun, easygoing spot with great waterfront views and a lively atmosphere. The menu has plenty of crowd‑pleasers, the drinks come out quick, and the staff keeps things moving even when it's busy. We ordered: Drinks: -Spicy Margarita -Scarpetta Prosecco Lunch: -Grilled Garlic parm oysters -Raw oysters (chimichurri, mignonette) -Brunch Salad- roasted tomato, cucumber, farm pepper, lots of parm, everything breadcrumbs. Everything was super delish. The grilled garlic Parmesan oysters were my fave and even the salad hit the spot. We had to order another round. It was that good. I went to Shooters for my birthday lunch and was really disappointed with the food. I ordered the Oysters Rockefeller, which I absolutely love and am very familiar with. To my surprise, they were made with chimichurri. Chimichurri is not a standard ingredient in Oysters Rockefeller, and it wasn't noted anywhere on the menu. That felt misleading, especially since I would have chosen something else had I known. Unfortunately, they weren't even good, so I had to send them back. My partner ordered the fried chicken, and the batter was extremely thick and unpleasant. That dish was also sent back. The one bright spot was our server, who was absolutely lovely. I really wish I had gotten her name because she deserves recognition for how kind and attentive she was. Unfortunately, based on the food and overall experience, I won't be back unless it's for an event or just drinks. read more

I came in on one of their busiest days. I planned ahead and made a reservation. I travel solo, so restaurants can be a little more difficult for good service. It was not the case here. My waitress was kind and attentive even as she attempted to manage what was again one of the busiest days they have had. A really unique and fun menu for brunch items and cocktails. I never knew I needed popcorn on my French toast until coming here. The entire space has been refurbished and updated. The waterfront location & interior of the restaurant are what make the visit. The food was overpriced and generally just missing the mark. Everything we had needed additional seasoning. The drinks are enjoyable, especially paired with the atmosphere. Our service was great, at first, but throughout the visit went downhill quickly to end up with a rude and awkward server. Additionally, we were charged more for every food item than was listed on the menu. The positives don't outweigh the negatives here which is a disappointment because of the location and vibes. I'd say stop for drinks, but find another spot for anything else. read more

I've been here a handful of times for dinner and a couple concerts. The remodel turned out really nice and the views of the water are probably one of the best in Cleveland. The concerts are always a good time and they've brought in some pretty good artists. The food was solid too. I liked the seafood, sliders, burger, fries and the spicey margarita was amazing. My only real complaint is everything feels a little over priced. Drinks, concert tickets, and even docking a boat or jet ski can get expensive pretty fast. I get it's a waterfront spot, but it still seems a little bit much for Cleveland typical prices Overall it's a fun place with a positive and safe atmosphere (which the east bank is lacking) and having the restaurant and concerts all in one place makes it worth checking out. I'd definitely come back, just be prepared to spend a little more than you expected. read more

We visited the revamped Shooters on Opening Day and were pleasantly surprised by what they had done to the place. The DJ was playing an energetic mix of music that appealed to a broad audience and the large door walls facing the water were all open so you could go out onto the deck with your drinks. The food was delicious (I preferred the chicken Caesar sandwich over the grilled chicken skewers) and was plentiful! The only downside was that service was very slow especially with the overwhelming opening day crowd.. but cannot wait to go back here through the summer read more

Was excited to try the new Shooters, but my family left a bit disappointed - the live music was incredibly loud, making it difficult to catch up with each other, the food was just okay, and our waiter seemed a bit preoccupied. My frozen espresso martini was good but overpriced. We also ordered chips and dip, the lobster roll, chicken skewers, and the fish sandwich. Chicken looked good but the lobster and fish were definitely not fresh. Was really surprised that the music was so loud on a Sunday evening. We were really excited to try everything, but probably would only return for a quick beer on the river. 2.5-3/5 stars. read more

I see the potential for this to be a great space to party! $33 was very extreme for a Saturday night. There were many types of bar experiences inside: one was pretty standard where you can watch the game. Further back, it was more lounge with seating booths and its own bar area. And the outside patio has its own dj performing. All the music was different versions of house/edm that night so we didn't stay long. My drink was decent and we didn't get a chance to try the food. Overall, not a bad place to start your night! Maybe find out the music schedule to see if that improves the experience. read more

decided to kick off mgk weekend off early w/ dinner at shooters, & it was the absolute best start to our time here in cleveland. we had an 8:30pm reservation & the view of the water was beautiful, we opted to sit indoors because of a few looming grey clouds, but you could still see the sunset perfectly from inside. everything in this restaurant is so stunning, down to the bathrooms, picture perfect. there was also a wall of some very aesthetic mgk decor (that i had to tourist out on & take a pic of lol). our server was so nice, everyone we interacted w/ was. chef ryan even helped bring out our dinner (recognised him from the website because i've been looking at this menu for weeks lol), so personable & kind. it was decently busy, but it never felt hectic, good vibes all around. as someone who's two years sober, i appreciated the mocktail menu greatly. some mocktails feel like juice w/ a garnish, these are not that. i got the garden party & it was so fresh & delicious. my mom & sister both got the afterglow which was also really good, if you don't drink i highly recommend. for food me & my mom got the lobster roll meal (maine style), my sister got chicken tenders & fries, & we got the broccoli caesar to share. i don't know what's in that banger sauce that comes w/ the fries (perfect fries btw), but oh my god that's the BEST dipping sauce i've ever had & i'm not usually even a sauce person. the lobster roll was packed w/ claw meat, so fresh, & the roll had this crispy cheese outer layer that was just so good. chicken tenders were perfectly crunchy & juicy. that broccoli though oh my god, immaculate, an absolute must get. i definitely recommend going w/ a group & sharing to try as much as possible. i can not recommend dinner here enough, if i lived closer to cleveland i'd be a regular, thank you for the best meal we've had all year! read more

We went to Shooters on a beautiful sunny Friday night before a show at Jacob's Pavilion. The renovation looks great and new decor is super cute. But the service is horrendous! It took forever to get a drink, they literally try to not serve you at the bar - it's like they are intentionally ignoring you. Then they finally opened the back bar which made it a little easier to finally get a drink. Our food took an hour to come out and 2 of our meals came out first but the other took another 20 min after that. And the watermelon mojito has no lime or mint (those are literally the main ingredients). We even had them remake it and it was the same the second time. It might be nice on an off day but I don't think they're staffed appropriately yet to handle big nights. Especially when there was a sold out show at Jacob's pavilion and on a beautiful Friday night downtown! read more

I went to Shooters with my wife and daughter for Fathers Day dinner. Overall it was a disappointing experience. The menu was limited with more drink options than entrees. Our drinks and food both took a long time to arrive. The live music was way too loud, which made conversation very difficult. On the plus side, once our food did arrive it was good. And the views of the river and lake were great. But those weren't enough to make up for the unpleasant stuff. I won't be returning. read more

We went here for a birthday dinner with a large group in the early evening on a Saturday. We had table reservations yet it took over about 20 minutes to be seated. It took forever to get drinks, between 30-45 minutes just to get drinks. The food took forever and came out sporadically with some folks getting their food in 20-30 minutes while others waited over an hour. The food was mediocre at best. The server was great and tried really hard but told us there was little she could do. She alerted the manager but no one ever came by. They obviously don't care so we won't be coming back. Wanted to try the brunch but they REQUIRE your credit card info before they'll even give you a reservation (and KEEP it for future visits). Sorry, but not sorry for making your customers solve your reservation issues for other customers who don't show up for their Reservations. And I don't want to hear about how everybody else is doing it because I won't go to those establishments either. Used to have fun here before the reno. Celebrated my 35th birthday on 6/13 and I want to give Waka Flocka Flame 5 stars and our overall VIP service at Shooters 2 stars. As somebody who bartends and is actively in the nightlife, there were a few things that should be considered a no no. Our second bottle of Don Julio was "stolen" from our section. I have to say "stolen" in quotations because the bottle was delivered to our section when nobody was there. Our VIP section was inside and the performance was outside, we went outside for the performance because Waka Flocka is the reason we got a VIP section at Shooters instead of the plethora of other venues we could have gone to for VIP. When we came back in from the performance and inquired about our second bottle we were told it was already delivered so if it wasn't in the section then it had been "stolen". Management, your new rule of thumb should be that no delivery is complete unless there is somebody physically there to receive the delivered bottles/food. We were basically told that it was our fault because we left our section unattended. Like, wait.. huh??? There was a massive security guard blocking people from being able to enter the area our table was at...... so the only people who would have had an opportunity to "steal" the bottle are people who are also VIP and already have their own bottles. Again, this is why I am unsure if it was "stolen" or never actually delivered in the first place. The manager never came over to address this, we were playing telephone between the manager and our waitress. The final resolve was for them to only charge us for half of the second bottle.. that we never received. Something is better than nothing, I guess. Also, holding my ID and debit card from the moment I walked in the door til the moment I left was kind of crazy. There has to be a better checks and balances process! I should be able to pay upfront, enjoy my night and leave when I want to instead of waiting 10 min to find a server to ask about my ID and card and then wait another 15 min before I get it back. And yes, I understand people run off on tabs or will want additional items as the night goes on but yall need to sort out a better and more streamline process. I will say the venue itself is beautiful and the festival style stage area is top tier. However, the service (much like it was with the previous owners) is subpar at best. I was told to arrive early for adequate service and we still waited 45 min in our section without even a bottle of water. Our first round of bottles came after an hour of being there. I saw a lot of people wearing Shooters gear that were standing around on their phones or too busy socializing. When sections cost a minimum of $1000 with 30% added on top of that for taxes and gratuity, the service and experience needs to match that price. And I can't say much about the food because I was told while booking the section that there was no food served on nights with performers.. that was in fact not true and we did not find out until there was 20 minutes left before the kitchen closed. We did not bother ordering food as I am sure the service would not have been able to keep up with the demand and we would have been stuck waiting forever. Will I be back..? Depends on the artist they are hosting. If Shooters wants to to build a new image and compete long term; continue to host desirable artists and get your service team in line. The new layout and design is gorgeous! But the service and food was not good. We had confirmed outside multiple times via phone and when giving the CC required and they refused it when we got there. We had to make a big deal and then they offered a solution. Over an hour to get food, 30-40 minutes per drink. Ordered things we never got. IMO the menu is just trying to do too much. People want easy lakeside vibes - wings, fish tacos, whatever. No one liked their meals. But everything on the menu is just a little overdone. Esp for a Sunday brunch menu. I did feel like the DJ was just a little too loud for the patio Sunday at 1. You can't hear anything! & the bathroom was horrendous. So hopefully they can figure it out. read more

First of all, I had to pay $27 to park in Shooters lot because there was a concert in the area???? I was not attending a concert....I was meeting friends for dinner at Shooters! I could not go elsewhere to park since I am 75 yrs old and have mobility issues. I paid more for parking than I did for the meal I ordered. Ridiculous! The menu was very limited and a bit odd---food was just ok. The atmosphere was very nice since the remodel---I will give them credit for that. However, I will not be back nor will the ladies I had dinner with since we were all charged $27 for the parking---talk about price gouging! read more

The menu has less choices than McDonald's... And don't go there if you you're thinking about having a burger. Great job with the remodeling but every customer will be paying for that, for quite a long time, as witnessed by all of their completely overpriced menu and bar items. read more

Went to shooters not knowing what to expect...I had heard negative reviews about the service and the concert scene. Had multiple friends who had gone to the Don Toliver and Akon nights. Heard horrible things about the price of tickets for what you received. More like stage appearances than a performance which is a story in it of itself. I came here for my birthday. It was a Friday afternoon. We were told it was a 30 minute wait for a table at 3 pm - no problem we would sit at the bar and grab a drink the meantime. We were called to our table 5 minutes later. You would think this was a great thing...but we waited for someone to come around for 20 minutes and no one ever showed. Waitress came around to ask if we had been helped and she would send someone over...still no one came 10 minutes later. We were sitting next to the door, and had watched many workers walk by without evening noticing we were there. We ended up sitting back at the bar and left our table. The bartenders were great! We were served promptly and everyone behind the bar was nice. Lest to say, if you plan on going...I would suggest not. Food was fine but nothing to write home about. The waitresses all seemed more busy talking with each other than servicing their tables. I have been a waitress for 10 years and had never seen such blatant ignorance. No one from the patio ever checked in or offered anything for our wait. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

i went here for a concert. It was not clearly communicated on social media or on the ticket that the artist would show up at 1am and only play for 30 minutes. Doors didn't open until 10, so we were waiting in line for a hour while valet was driving cars and almost hitting people. Once inside the bartending staff was rude and unhelpful. it took 20 minutes for a bar back to recognize I was waiting for a drink, but he could not serve me so he had to ask the real bartenders to assist me but there was one who blew him off and I had to wait another 5-10 minutes to actually receive my drink. When in the uber home I learned that the owner new the talent was only going on at 1am for 30 minutes, while no updates where provided to the crowd or online. Overall, I would never recommend or come to this place again Maybe it should have stayed closed, until someone who knew what they were doing was willing to open it. read more
