I'm bias. I've lived in Oceanside practically my whole 22 years of existence and have gone to…read moreNassau vision since I've needed glasses. Now I've moved to Garden City. I do not like going to Oceanside. I had an awful high school experience and I get an eerie feeling whenever I have to go there. With all that being said, I had an unpleasant experience at Nassau visions today. My girlfriend came with me today to Nassau visions because I do not like driving to places by myself. I had to wear my girlfriend's glasses to drive. I told the three receptionist (I'm not sure why there's three people there) that I had to wear her glasses. There was no comment made about me wearing her prescription lenses at that time. Anyways, I go to the back with the optician. When I come out of the optician, I saw my girlfriend very upset. I ask her what's wrong. She says, she will tell me later. Yada yada I pick my glasses out and sample contacts. Pay for it and leave. I come to find out from my girlfriend later that the THREE receptionists ganged up on my girlfriend and gave her sh*t about her letting me drive and I shouldn't be wearing her glasses. My girlfriend doesn't even have her license. There was no one else who could get me to the appointment except me and I wasn't paying for an Uber because I feel totally FINE driving. It wasn't a problem. I do not know who these elitist, bogus, hateful, disgusting, and meaningless tyrants think they are. I'm through being talked down to and that includes my girlfriend. I'm 22 years old man not a 5 year old kid. How dare you connive and wiggle your worm-self into making my girlfriend very upset and angry. What good does it do? Are you the law-agency that makes sure everyone has the RIGHT prescription while driving. GET A GRIP. Thank you!!!

When I went to this doctor for follow up, he told me that the debris would go away but such huge chunks could not, I confirmed with another doctor. As a result I had to go to another surgeon who did vitrectomy and placed the haptic in the sac (i.e correctly placed the lens in the eye). Surprising thing is that when the second doctor called Hatsis and said told him that haptic was not in the sac, Hatsis told him that was OK. This is shocking. I would not recommend Hatsis to anyone.
