To be clear and set expectations, Bridger Brewing is a college pizza place. It's across the street from the college stadium. It's ran by 20-something aged children and dirty. Service is hungover. Music is great. Food has funky ingredients but is decent, not great. The cheesecake was a no bake tart. The beer is tasty but read the descriptions (ex: cucumber). Shares a parking lot with the Town & Country grocery store. Doesn't even have its own bathroom.

Pineapple Express Pizza, Unknown Pizza, honey-lime crema on the side

Started with a flight to get a little taste of four different beers. We were curious about one beer that we didn't try, but one of the workers brought us each a sample on the house! He wasn't our server, but maybe was a manager? He was cool - stopped by our table a few quick times just to check in and see how the beers were tasting. I ended up ordering the cream ale (I think?) and it had a cucumber hint to it. Very refreshing after a long hot day of biking. Both me and my partner each ordered a pizza and split a small caesar salad. The "small" caesar salad was plenty for us to get in our veggies before we munched on the pizzas. It was actually a great size for a small. I ordered the pineapple express pizza and it was a lot spicier than I expected (Garlic chili sauce, Cajun pulled pork, smoked mozzarella, fresh pineapple, pickled jalapeno, fresh cilantro). The jalapeno seemed fresh because GOLLY it was spicy, I just wasn't expecting it to have that much heat. They didn't have ranch (I'm from the midwest where ranch goes on everything) but they did have a honey-lime sour cream that usually comes with the elote pizza that they provided for us. It wasn't the same as ranch, but did help to cool off the spice of my pizza. I can't remember which pizza my partner ordered but I remember it being delicious and not spicy at all like mine. Fun, young atmosphere. You could tell most of the people in there were college aged. They had an upstairs as well and I believe they also had a patio up there. We soaked up the AC at a high top table by the bar. Nice art of the Bridgers above the bar.

We came in on a Friday night for dinner and drinks. The ambiance is a typical pizza pub. Service is fine, nothing special. Lots of pizza options to choose from. - Garlic bread appetizer (4/5): Bread was good, served with roasted garlic pieces - Mush love pizza (4/5): We loved the garlic truffle oil, perfect pairing with the mushrooms. - Andouille pizza (3.5/5): Lots going on but very tasty.

So how can you go wrong with an outside roof top view, cold beer and a supreme bison pizza? Ya can't! Especially if you're at Bridger Brewing! Not to mention the most pleasant service in Bozeman. May be my new favorite go to! Just a great place to relax and enjoy an afternoon.

Back in Bozeman on business and luck for you, well more for me, that there are a couple breweries I hadn't yet visited. So welcome to Bridger Brewing which is brewery visit #288. Bridger Brewing is a big, busy place. If you're looking for a quaint tasting room where you can chat with the brewer, this ain't it. That said it's cool. Great vibe and quite busy at noonish on a Friday. A lot of college students which makes sense based on the location but certainly not just a college hang out. Lots of bar space, lots of tables, lots of people. Sometimes even I like people... Mac Mike cream ale is infused with cucumber and honeydew melon. Very, very light flavors but they definitely add a great touch. This is a beer I wish I could get at home to drink on a warm afternoon after a good days work on my property. Catharina Brazilian kettle sour was up next. This is basically a strong Berliner Weisse with guava. Nice guava aroma and loads of guava flavor to it. I do wonder who Catharina is and if she has a Brazilian but don't tell SWPFTD as she wouldn't approve... The gent working the bar gave me a taste of a mix he gives to people who are looking for ciders which was the sour mixed with ginger beer. The ginger beer balanced the sour really well and gave it some pep which was hard not to love. I would drink that! I had to try Straight Schillin' Scotch Amber as I love Scotch ales and ambers of any kind are a favorite of SWPFTD. This was a good beer. Not my favorite but that's a tough one. Still it's a solid amber ale. Antilogy black IPA was dark as night and hoppy as a rabbit. Ok, that doesn't work but it's all I had. You can't do any better! Anyway, Antilogy is a pretty mild IPA. I was going to say a good intro to IPA's but really it's good for anyone except those cretins who take weird pride in how hoppy a beer they can drink. I was hungry after getting off the plane so I went with a pizza. Apparently all the meats, etc are in house so sausage is made here. The T-Rex was my choice which had a range of meats including andouille sausage. Great pizza! I may just eat the whole 10 inch pizza right here. Don't judge me... Speaking of judging, did you ever notice that when you give someone a compliment they never respond with "Don't judge me"? It's only when you say something critical. So it's not the judging that bothers us it's the possibility you may be right about your negative judgement. Food for thought. I wrapped up with the Neon Moon oatmeal stout with Brooks & Dunn running through my head as I drank it. This was good but I must admit I think the andouille sausage affected my taste buds. BB is a definite yes for me. Two thumbs up. If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you! I hope my confidence is not misplaced.

Staff were down to earth, cool about a larger party, and the place was very clean! We had come in last minute and they didn't treat us like an inconvenience for asking for two tables. Food was top notch, pizzas had amazing fresh ingredients with different choices. Our large crew will for sure be back!!!

Great place! The vibe was real cool with the good food options. Came here during lunch and they had these great pizza deals, HUGE slices!

Harvest Season pizza. So good.

We hit Bridger on our first night in Bozeman. The place was busy but we were still able to find a table near the bar. Had the Seasonal Harvest pizza and a couple of beers. The Hardball American stout was delicious as well as the No Coast IPA. The hazy IPA was also very good. The stout was creamy and had the perfect balance of chocolate. I loved the spiced pecans on the pizza and combined with the pork belly made it a hit.

Service was good, pizza was ok. Not much sauce but a ton of cheese if that's your thing. Beers were good

Good pizza, good beer, lousy service. We sat at the bar and were roundly ignored, even when it wasn't busy

We had the FRITES & FONDUE for an appetizer, fries were great, the Parmesan was a nice touch and the fondue didn't have a lot of flavor. Our entrees were served hot, packed with flavor & the pasta was cooked al dente. We both loved the our entrees, as we continued our meal seeing all the other entrees going to tables we are excited to come back to try the vast options on the menu. The cheesecake was delicious & fresh we truly appreciate the quality & taste of desserts being made in house- you can tell the difference & it is absolutely worth it. We will be back, it may be over an hour drive for us but a drive well worth it.

We had a delicious first meal in Bozeman at this restaurant. Arrived at the end of happy hour, and…read moregot to enjoy some small plates from that menu, and stayed long enough to order a pasta to split from the dinner menu after. We started with the beet and burrata salad, which was full of yummy complimenting flavors and fun textures. I think it could have done without the yellow peppers but I just ate around those. The pepitas with the pistachio butter and beets were excellent, and the burrata added a creamy touch. We also tried the frites and fondue. The fries were thick and browned how I like them, but the fondue wasn't my favorite and was a little too overpowering in flavor for my taste. The parmesan on top of the fries was a nice touch. For beverages I had a local pale ale from Bridger brewing that was crisp and went well with the meal, and my partner tried the rotations shrub (peach), which she said was just okay. The star of the show was the arrabiata pasta made with vodka sauce and Calabrian chilis. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente and was well sauced, truly delicious. The ambiance is nice, and the service was fine. They checked on us frequently but not entirely friendly, maybe our waitress was having a bad day. The meal was a little on the pricier side but I felt the happy hour prices were fair. We would return when visiting Bozeman.
