Getting straight to the point. Food here was decent. Even though our order was wrong. They did correct it though. It's located inside the food lab which is a pretty cool place to hang out. Service though is awful Came here on Thursday night and the employees looked like they just rolled out of bed. I'm sorry, but you gotta dress more appropriately. While ordering, having to head "anything else" with an attitude as if they can't wait for us to leave, makes it very uncomfortable. I definitely won't be going back. Was there last weekend with a friend its in a fun crowded food court area. We got 2 medium pepperoni pizzas they were decent and we liked the baked oven crispiness. But the pricing was too high--over $40 for 2 pizzas and they were pressuring for a tip. Pizzas were good but probably will not be returning. read more

Very horrible place to eat. They only had two people working during dinner time. One person at cashier and other making orders. I placed an order at 615 and it wasn't ready till 715. Then the cashier person told other people were waiting to out orders in and cashier goes we are not taking orders. I ordered margarita pizza and cashier person just put basil on without gloves. We started eating the pizza and the bottom was not cooked and tasted like dough. Not coming here again. No hygiene and pizza is not cooked. My kids love the pepperoni and plain cheese pizzas, but I'm obsessed with the Rocket Man pizza. The Caprese pizza and BBQ Chicken are also the bomb. We've eaten here at least 2 dozen times, and they never ever disappoint. Its definitely not cheap but I'm cool with that cause they're artisanal pizzas, not the crap from Chuck E Cheese or Dominos. Saw the new place in town and thought I'd give it a try. I ordered 1 pizza. I was told it would be about 30 minutes. Left and picked up something from La Bodega. When I returned I sat for well over an hour waiting for my pizza. The staff was apologized several times and even offered my a free desert. but to wait this long for 1 pizza is disappointing. Brick & Birch has a new beer tap pumpkin Porter stout by four peaks it's not your typical heavy porter stout beer it's actually light and easy on the palette. Triple B is bomb!! Pizza had bacon, shredded brussel sprouts, and a balsamic reduction! They have so many different options, they offer vegan cheese and gluten free crust! They did have a selection of seasonal items which sounded delicious! Can't wait to return back! read more

I checked this spot out for a quick lunch. It is located inside the Food Lab Downtown Riverside. It's in the back corner, you can't miss it. The service was decent as was the food. My issue with the service is the time it took for my pizza to be ready. I was advised it would be ready in 10 min. I walked outside, sat for a while. I gave them ample time to prepare it. When I returned, my pizza was not even in the oven yet! I ordered the small mushroom Brie. I enjoyed the taste, but I don't think the quality ingredients on such a small pizza justify the price tag. I was still hungry after eating it and had to go grab some fries from another spot located inside Food lab. I was with a group at the Food Lab in Riverside so everyone went their separate way for dinner. I chose Bricks and Birch as I had eaten their pizza at the Redlands location and thought it was pretty good. Maybe I caught them on and off night but at the Riverside location I ordered the pizza margherita and it was absolutely terrible. The dough wasn't cooked in the center and was very limp, as you can see in photo the dough is floppy. I think I had the absolute bare minimum of basil chiffonade, the cheese was melted ok, but the sauce tastes like Campbell's tomato soup. The guy behind the counter was nice enough but didn't offer plates, forks, or condiments for this "to go" order. There is a bit of a wait once you order your pizza but that just give you a reason to grab a drink. They offer limited seating along the window. I was able to get half pepperoni and half of their brie and mushroom pizza. The crust is amazing! It's a perfect balance between soft and crunchy. The pepperoni pizza was classic and really good! For the mushroom brie, i felt there was too much of a mushroom flavor and it overpowered the brie. However there's so many other flavors to try and i will definitely be back!
