Very disappointed with the service today! I called to an order and was put on hold, but I could hear the employee having a personal conversation about working on St. Patrick's Day. After waiting for over two minutes, I hung up and called back. She asked me to hold again, but I told her I had already been waiting and it sounded like she was just chatting. Her tone was rude, but I placed my order anyway-- a personal pizza with pepperoni and jalapeños and four wings. When I arrived for pickup, no one was at the front. Food was sitting on the counter, and I waited another six minutes before the same employee came back and started serving other orders before even ringing me up. That was fine since I knew I was a little early, but once I got my food and left, I realized my pizza was missing the pepperoni. I called back politely to let them know, but the same employee rudely told me that she had repeated my order and that I only said jalapeño. I've been ordering the same thing here for over a year, so I know what I asked for. Even my coworkers, who overheard the call, were shocked by how unprofessional she sounded. I understand that restaurants get busy, but the attitude and mistakes were disappointing. If possible, I'd love to see the other lady (the nice Hawaiian one) back--she's always polite and gets the orders right! It was my first time coming to Aloha Pizza and I was so happy with my experience. I got chicken wings, garlic knots, jalapeño poppers, and a large specialty pizza for no more than $47! The chicken wings were out of this world amazing, the meat was so tender and the hot flavor was flavorful. It wasn't too spicy but it wasn't too bland either. I loved the jalapeño poppers, they're filled with cream cheese instead of cheddar cheese and I couldn't stop at just one. The pizza was also very good, I was happy with the meat choices on top of the pizza and how stringy the cheese was. They also added cheese and peppers in the box without me needing to ask! When I looked at the description the day after (5/5/2024)... it says description generated by DoorDash using AI (Artificial Intelligence)). I don't know who to blame but don't believe either description. If you see this... make sure to add what you actually want. I'm an engineer (software and development) and will tell you that AI doesn't get it right. The Wings and Potato Wedges I ordered were good. A coworker recommended this place and said he would pick it up. I started to get pizza but was in the mood for pasta. They have a chicken fettuccine Alfredo/pesto mix pasta. He called in in and ordered it. It took him a long time to get back because he said it wasn't ready when he got there. My pasta was dry and the chicken tasted like it was chicken breast from a frozen bag. It was more pesto than Alfredo sauce. The bread that it came with it was so so. He ordered the lasagna and a chicken Cesar salad. He let me taste his lasagna and it was way better than the pesto/Alfredo pasta.
