Kitchen Sink Hummus

This is an amazing place to try out unique flavors of olive oils and balsamic before committing to buying a bottle. The staff are so friendly and are interested in finding the perfect product for you. This was my second time here because I had the hummus once and had to come back for more! It costs $7 and is definitely worth it! There are a couple other flavors which I am looking to try next time.

I always have a wonderful experience at Lot22. The shop is clean, tidy, and very organized. The customer service is excellent; the staff is knowledgeable about the different oils and always willing to help. They also offer small-batch products like soap made from their olive oils. I always come here for great quality olive oil. Highly recommend!

Looking to splurge on some olive oils, balsamics, and more? You've come to the right place. This little shop in Canyon Crest Towne Centre is a hidden gem in Riverside. With friendly customer service and such a huge variety of oils, this is a fun place to check out. They not only have oils, but also jams, pickled goods, pasta, hummus, tapenade, and vegan butter! Pre-COVID, they even used to do olive oil tastings and cooking classes here! I recommend the White Truffle Oil and the Dark Toasted Sesame Oil. Those are my favorites that I use at home now. Although a bit on the pricey side, you are definitely getting the quality you pay for.

I have been eyeing Lot22 Olive Oil Company's Instagram account and have finally made my way to their olive oil and balsamic tasting room in Riverside. This location is nestled in the charming Canyon Crest Towne Centre off Central and Canyon Crest. The closest landmark retailer is Rite Aid. Upon entering, your eyes will be delighted by all the shiny vessels that contain their handcrafted olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I got to try some unique pairings, such as their Roasted Sesame Oil with Peach White Balsamic Vinegar! It was delicious and it would go great with a summer salad! I did buy a few of their olive oils to give out as gifts and, of course, I saved one for myself! :) Besides olive oil and balsamic vinegar, they also sell other gourmet foods and specialty products. This is such a special boutique and all their products make great gifts! They even wrapped up my purchases in cute rustic wrapping! I do plan on returning because they have such great service and because I love supporting local businesses! This is definitely a gem in the IE!

Stop in for a taste test and find a new favorite to take home! They also have bread, hummus, pita chips, and other food items.

The young lady who helped me was also awesome. I love to try different oil and vinegar combinations on salads. Who needs store bought salad dressings full of sugar when you can so easily make delicious dressings yourself? I also used the Tuscan olive oil to roast potatoes and veggies tonight and it smelled amazing and tasted great. I'll be buying all of my oils and vinegars here from now on.

But the main feature here is are the olive oil varieties and the balsamic vinegar varieties. Today, after passing by Ciberia many times, I was able to actually visit this shop during operation hours. After parking in one of many customer-only parking spots, a few steps in and on the right side is the shop for "House of Oil and Vines". I was greeting by the customer service representative who was thoroughly and patient on explaining the various oils and balsamic vinegar, as well as providing samples to taste, blending different oils and vinegar, and even mentioning personal preferences. I felt didn't feel rushed and it was at a comfortable pace. The variety of pure regional olive oils wasn't too many but with at least 8 - 10 on tap to try, it was nice. There were probably around 10 - 12 infused olive oils, ranging from garlic infused to the citrus Meyer lemon infusion to the surprisingly spicy mango habanero flavor. There were also white balsamic vinegar and dark balsamic vinegar, and varieties of infused balsamic vinegar in white and dark options. Thankfully, there was a water dispenser and a small cup of water to help clear the taste of each sample before trying another sample. While the olive oils and balsamic vinegar are not cheap, they are not too expensive. I do wish the labels would display where the olive oils and vinegar had their distinct origins sourced from, but perhaps I should have asked the customer service rep. If I need to buy some more unique infused olive oil and interesting balsamic vinegar, or maybe some olive tapenade, or some unique soaps, or spouts for the two bottles I bought today, I'll come back. That habanero mango infused oil was amazing and spicy in small dosages...

They're basically all just cucumber and rice. The ones with any fish seem to be priced at $6 and even then it's like the tiniest slivers of tuna. They have poke bowls as well, but something is seriously wrong with the seaweed salad in them. It's straight up gray, not green, and so I've been too scared to try one. There are managers specials frequently, as well as discounted prepared food often available in the late afternoon. I'm fond of the kale and apple salad, and there's a black garlic shrimp platter that is delicious as well. If you can catch them on sale, I'd definitely recommend picking them up! One thing that was super tragic is that they've discontinued so many of their refrigerated vegan products. I was happy to pick up a ton of vegan protein for cents on the dollar the one day I caught the massive clearance, but my stock is finally running low and I'm sad I won't be able to find a lot of the same stuff here anymore.

We had the calamari fritti and yellowtail to share. Our table also got the diavola pizza, spaghetti bolognese, a couple orders of the mushroom ravioli that came with a runny egg, and sides of fingerling potatoes and broccolini. The food is as delicious as I remembered. Service was a bit off this particular night, but overall it was a good experience.
