I've been eating hear for a few years, I thought I'd give them a review finally. I've tried only w pizzas here the vegetable pizza and Mushrooms Brie I believe they are called, but both are delicious. The crust is thin and I recommend eating them while hot and fresh out the oven. What's odd is this is a coffee shop as well. Their coffee isn't to bad either, but I come here more for the pizza. Their bathroom could use a little clean up and a little remodel though, hence the loss of a star. I'm always disgusted when I see a nice restaurant with a filthy bathroom, all that goes in my head is the employees use this too, hmmmm, .....are they washing their hands, are these germs making it into my food? I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks like this right? The tables inside needed a wipe down too. read more

So, we've ordered from this place 5 times. Maybe 4, but to give this place more leeway, I'm going to say 5. First 3 times, fantastic pizza. Mostly, on point. Last 2 times, the pizzas were burnt, and most recently, pretty much inedible, but considering I didn't eat all day, I was starving. Every bite, from center to crust, had a burnt acrid taste. Very disappointing because their flavors are very unique. Wife ordered their jalapeño poppers thinking it was actually jalapeño poppers but it was a pizza. It was too spicy for her, so I took the pizza minus 1 slice to work the next day. Everyone said that it was a unique flavor and it was either good or great. My personal favorite is their buffalo. It's got the nice buffalo flavor with a creaminess to balance the tang. So, why the 3 stars? I'm huge on consistency. Like I said, giving them the benefit of the doubt and saying I've ordered 5 times instead of 4. 2 orders were pretty much trash. So 60% good, 40% bad. Also, another note in terms of consistency. We ordered 2 buffalo pizzas and they both tasted different. If you're ok with a 50/50 chance of getting good food, this is 5 stars. If you want consistency, this is not the place for you. My favorite straight latte in the area. Excellent beans and always prepared well. Only complaint: they have this AMAZING house made strawberry syrup but it's like, literally never available. I've come at noon and it'll be all out. I try to do a good natured "haha, you guys should make more" but it's been about 7 visits since the first time I tried it and I've yet to be able to order it again. You almost think this place belongs in the woods in the mountains than a bustling city like Redlands. Walking distance from municipal buildings or Smiley Park, it's centrally located if you want to stop and get a small snack or a drink. We ordered the Ron Swanson pizza which had bacon, sausage, and pepperoni. I give this pizza a 10/10 I would recommend and definitely come back to have again. The crust was perfectly thin and just the right amount of crisp. Ingredients tasted fresh! The Redlands Bowl Salad had sweet purple onions, mandarin, walnuts and a slice of pita. Their dressing definitely tied all the flavors together. They were very generous with the walnuts. You can add chicken for 3$ if you like. The salad also tasted fresh. No stale ingredients here! Very nice place. Decor is very Frankensteinian, and they definitely needed to turn on the AC, but overall the food and drinks were stellar. The first two times I ordered from here I loved the pizza. The third time, it was made incorrectly and this time I ordered something different and it was also made incorrectly. How do you miss the Basil on a Caprese Pizza!? It was crust with some olive oil, diced tomato and some mozzarella slices. Not worth the price! I got the mushroom brie with vegan cheese. Not really edible. There's barely any cheese (it's the mustard-looking stuff drizzled on) and what's there isn't very good. Vegan brie is difficult, but it can be made well---I've made it well myself. If you can't put enough good cheese on the pizza, don't sell it. Because there wasn't enough cheese the pizza was outstandingly dry and the mushrooms fell off easily. As things stand I've wasted my money ($18 + tax!) on, basically, a flatbread with mushrooms and a slight cheesy flavor. The potatoes were so tender. * Avolanche - If you like Chorizo, tomatoes and avocado, you'll like this pizza. This is definitely lighter and fresher than the Rocketman. As for their pastries, I really enjoyed their Malt Chocolate Chip Cookie! It had the perfect "chew"... you know the kind that 'gets stuck on your molars' "chew". Their pecan bar was also really good! I haven't tried their coffee but I have had 2 their iced teas. They are made to order so there is a bit of a wait, which I don't mind. The interior is really cute -- very hipster! I ordered a chai latte and a salad (I forget the name of the salad I chose). About $18 with a small tip. The salad was good - a fresh option for lunch. This place is awesome. Whether it is coffee, pastries or lunch, this is a one stop shop. Indoor sitting area is great as well with desks and chairs. Have been here to get work done. Wish they had more sitting space since it can get a little crammed during pre-pandemic times. There is outdoor seating as well though that is more limiting. Also hard to sit outside with little kids because of busy street and safety. They have a pizza oven and their pizzas are amazing. Everything is made fresh in front of you! Their Thai pizza is my favorite but even their plain cheese pizza is delicious. Their salads are light and tasty. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Driving through Redlands on our way home and saw this place and saw the ratings. Boy, was that WRONG. Ordered a pepperoni and vegi pizza and the crust was burnt. It was somewhat small and the grease was sitting on top. Only 3 small pepperoni's per slice. All for the price of $18. The veggies didn't look good either. The wife only could stomach 2 of the three slices and said she couldn't eat another disgusting slice. Surprised at all the 5 star ratings, but hey, to each their own.
