Stopped in Rifle overnight and found this place while wandering downtown. Has a large patio (dog friendly), good food and friendly staff. Would recommend. -- Food **** Very good. We shared a blue cheese pasta and salad and they were both delicious. Wit staff warned us that the pasta was very rich, and it was nice to be warned. It was delicious, though probably not something I'd go out of my way for a second time. Very heavy. -- Ambiance **** We were the only people at lunch, which was nice. but we were outside. The patio is comfortable, but there was a lot of road noise. People blasting music, no bike mufflers, etc. -- Value **** No complaints about the prices. Frustrating day of driving around town from 2-3pm to find something to eat in a too small town. (Note to self: carry boxes of Cheese It's or Kind bars in the car forevermore.) One restaurant closed at 2:30pm... the other pizza shop 1-mi away couldn't make pizza or anything hot as their ovens were down 'til perhaps tonight or tomorrow & I wasn't in the mood for another mediocre deli salad or sandwich... 1 gas station had a dismal looking "deli" with to-make sandwiches, staffed by a learning disabled girl having great difficulty making a sub... the very irritated man before me told me he waited over 10-min while she rummaged through the backroom & he finally left in hunger & anger... so, this was it or another gas station hotdog from the Kum & Go down the road & I just bloody couldn't. I stopped in a small market I passed, thinking I could get something to microwave, but... it's a Mexican market with foods that need to be cooked... nothing prepared. Brickhouse is a nice small place on the corner of the rotary with a few off-street parking spaces. They advertise as NY style, thin crust. It's neither. But, staff is kind & the pizza was tasty (nice flavored crust & red sauce)... far better than Domino's or Pizza Hut, neither of which are in the area, if they're faves of yours. I got a 12" meatlovers for about $14... a bit pricey for me, but that's cuz I'm not a pizza fan, at all. Be prepared, if coming to this town... there is very little here in the way of food or recreation... it's strictly a drive through locale. 3* out of 5. Tried this place because it is just off the freeway. Sat on stools at the counter. Waiter had no personality. Ordered a couple beers and garlic knots as an appetizer. Also ordered a supreme pizza 18'. We sipped on our beers and shortly after our pizza was ready. Had another beer with the pizza. The pizza was good, though average. Garlic knots never did show up. I stopped in Silt on the way to Denver and needed a quick bite. This small pizzeria on what seemed like the only main street off I-70 did the trick. I ordered the cold Italian sandwich, cheesy bread, and a Greek salad. The cured meats on the sandwich were exceptional, and the Giardiniera added a nice kick. This is a review for the location in Rifle, Colorado seeing as they don't have a Yelp page. This place is fantastic! We are here from Humble, Texas on vacation (driving around Colorado more like) and came here for Shooters Grill right down the street. We decided to stay here for the night and were craving pizza for dinner. After much searching online and seeing as it's Sunday and most places close early I found this little gem. So glad I did! The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and when you walk in the aromas are wonderful! We ordered a 12" meat lovers pizza and after a short while it came out piping hot! It was delicious! Haven't had pizza this good in a long time! The service was friendly and fast as well! Bottom line if you're looking for something that isn't the every day pizza chain, come here! My boyfriend and I were driving around Silt, CO late at night looking for a good place to eat and came across this place. As tourists, we didn't know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised to how quick they made our pizza and how delicious it was. Mind you, we got there about 20 minutes before closing and they still welcomed us in with great hospitality. At their exact closing time, another group of individuals came in and they also welcomed them in and insisted that it wasn't a problem. That, to me, is excellent restaurant service. Having worked in the food service before, I know how irritating it can be when customers come in as soon as you've prepared for closing. I give the entire staff props for being so wonderful about it. They all have blank looks and have no idea. They did not apologize or offer to do anything.
